Porsche will debut wireless EV charging with 2026 Cayenne Electric

US-produced cars still don’t offer what the 2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric is about to introduce, at any price. WirelessEV charging technology is similar to what you’re used to with a mobile phone or toothbrush. Future SUVs It promises the next level of convenience that won’t get cheaper, but with a luxury vehicle like the Cayenne, that might be fine.

The soon-to-arrival inductive charging capabilities, which are coming soon after the electric Cayenne, continues Porsche’s recent leadership in introducing groundbreaking new electric vehicle technology. This is everything you need to know about its latest, industry-leading development, Porsche Wireless Charging System.

Porsche as an EV innovator

When Porsche Teikan first arrived on the scene, we were overwhelmed by its all-electric, four-door sports car range. But it wasn’t long before Porsche made great strides to shift our impression towards a positively charged direction.

In addition to being sublime on the road, the recently updated Taycan feels like it’s charging as fast as driving. At the time of writing, no other car pushed more range into the battery from the Level 3 DC fast charger in a shorter time than the 2025 Porsche Teikan 4.

The Porsche also includes both the left and right sides of the Teikan. This could make repairs more expensive in the coming years, but it is also the convenience of making it easier to charge your home. In a car with dual AC charging ports, where your home charger is located is not important.

Porsche Wireless Charging FAQ

This leads to the new 2026 Porsche Cayenef and its wireless charging system. This technology comes from a brand that does what it can to improve the EV experience, not just add a range. To be clear, we are happy to take more.

The Porsche Wireless Charging System can charge speeds up to 11 kW. Cadillac offers a 19.2 kW charger for use in the home, but for now 11 kW has acquired almost every location elsewhere.

This process is a smaller bit than connecting it to a wall charger in your garage. This is one of the best parts about owning an electric vehicle like this Porsche SUV. To charge wirelessly, drive to the regular parking lot. Cayenne Electric’s Park Assist displays a green circle representing the receiver unit installed between the front wheels of the SUV.

When parking, you will need to line up two green circles on the screen. One is for cars and the other is for pads. Cayenne then lowers itself to start charging. It’s easier than the eye test and you’re done.

There must be a question. There is an answer:

  • How big is the Porsche Wireless Charging Pad? 46 inches long, 30.7 inches wide, 2.4 inches high
  • How much does it weigh? The pads are 110 pounds and the receiver unit in the car costs around 33 pounds.
  • How about my cat? The pads were a little hot, but also had motion and foreign object detection, which worked with the prototype. This technology meets all appropriate European and American standards for safety and environmental protection. Also give your cat a pspsps For us.

  • How efficient is this technology? Porsche says it’s up to 90%, which means it’s a few percentage points less than connecting it to a wall.
  • Is the Porsche wireless charging system well made? I know the time, but there should be no problem driving it or using it in the rain or snow. If it is installed outside, it can be bolted to the driveway. Porsche says the warranty is 4 years, but the unit is verified for 10 minutes. No maintenance is required.
  • Does this mean I no longer need to clean my garage? Yeah. Even Porsche electric cars Wireless charging technologyyou should probably clean it up in the spring from time to time. The technology is targeted at early adopters, but there are also convenience factors if they stack near a wall-mounted charger, or if there is no one in it entirely.

how much?

This is the TBDARE area for the upcoming Porsche Cayenne Electric in the US, which has acquired preliminary pricing figures from Porsche, but you wouldn’t be surprised if the electric Cayenne would eventually change before it reaches its American showroom.

To install a Porsche wireless charging setup, you will need to spend three money on the receiver unit of your vehicle, the ground pads that drop into the parking lot, and the installation from a local electrician.

The receiver unit costs around $1,650 when the Cayenne Electric arrives, and the ground pad costs around $6,500. Depending on your area, installations can cost up to $2,000, covering the full cost of the technology.

Why is it important?

Before spitting coffee at those prices, don’t forget that the first car that this technology will debut is an electric cayenne. Even the Gascayenne starts at around $90,000, and for context, this equipment is almost the same as already cumulatively spending on existing leather interiors, specific wheel styles, choosing metallic exterior colors.

Owners of electric Porsche SUVs may consider this a reasonable admission price that will literally be the first person in the block to try this technology.

Other electric vehicles that can be inductively charged are likely to be able to use Porsche wireless chargers, so if Cayenne’s electric owners replace the vehicle in 2030 Audi E-Tron GTthey will likely be able to choose receiver units to work with pads they already have, assuming Audi will get the technology by then.

At this point in the lifecycle of Porsche wireless charging, it is a luxurious convenience and the first bonus to have the bragging rights to install flashy new technology. Once the installation is complete, nothing is easier than parking and leaving your car. Isn’t it pretty good?

Democrats win special elections to fill the late Gerald Connolly seat

Democrat James Walkinshaw won the Virginia Special Election on September 9th, filling Gerald Connolly’s late seat.

play

WASHINGTON – Democrat James Walkinshaw won the Virginia Special Election on September 9th, filling Gerald Connolly’s late seat and narrowing the Republican margin in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Walkinshaw, Connolly’s Chief of Staff and Fairfax County supervisor, defeated Republican Stewart Whitson, a former FBI special agent and US Army combat veteran. Walkinshaw currently represents Virginia’s deep blue 11th Congressional District, which covers much of Fairfax County, outside Washington, DC.

Walkinshaw’s victory means Democrats currently hold 213 seats in their home, while Republicans hold 219 seats. House Speaker Mike Johnson faced difficulties gaining laws across the finish line with a majority of the razor-thin GOPs. Johnson can afford to lose two Republican votes on a particular bill if all Democrats oppose it.

Connolly passed away in May at the age of 75 after announcing that esophageal cancer had returned. Last December he secured a place to become a ranking member of the House Committee on Surveillance and Government Reform. He defeated Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Democrat from the Progressive Fire brand, in this position. California Democrat Rep. Robert Garcia has since become a minority ranking member on the committee.

Connolly is the third House Democrat to die since the start of the 119th Congress in January. Silvestar Turner of Texas and Rep. Raul Griarba of Arizona passed away within 10 days of each other in March.

Walkinshaw announced a Congressional bid in May after Connolly said he would not seek reelection in 2026.

“This is a five-alarm fire moment for democracy. Step 1 to stop Trump has secured a big victory for Virginia Democrat Ticket in 2025, and Step 2 is reclaiming Congress in 2026,” Walkinshaw said at the time.

“Do you know I didn’t know that?” Vanna White, the show’s longtime letter turner, responded, urging entertainment from both Seacrest and Ault. Seacrest’s second season will only lead the show, but White’s 43rd time.

White gushed about Seacrest later in the segment, saying, “I did my homework,” and “the transition was amazing.”

“He slid like he’d done it forever,” she said.

“I’m not ready to retire,” said White, 68. “I have too much fun.”

Trump’s global tariffs face Supreme Court scrutiny

0

President Donald Trump said the United States faces a “economic disaster” unless the high court maintains tariffs.

play

WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court will determine the fate of the global tariffs President Donald Trump used to raise revenue, promote production and put political pressure on other countries.

The tariffs, which are at the heart of Trump’s economic agenda, are also the first major test of aggressive claims of presidential rights that have reached the High Court.

The September 9th court agreed to hear Trump’s appeal against a lower court ruling that he overcame when he summoned the law of 1977 to impose tariffs on imports from most countries around the world.

The court, which has a conservative majority of 6-3, has also agreed to quickly track the appeal.

The judge will hear the debate in early November.

Curtis A. Bradley, a diplomatic law expert at the University of Chicago Law School, said the case sets a conflict between the usual high court respect and its concerns for the President over the administrative division that asserts authority not explicitly granted by Congress.

“From a presidential perspective, it could be the biggest hit of the term,” Bradley said.

And it could result in the US having to reimburse, if not hundreds of millions of dollars, if not hundreds of billions of dollars in taxes on imports.

Trump said the US faces a “economic disaster” unless tariffs exist.

“If we don’t have it, we’re not going to have a country. We’ll be in a very serious financial difficulties,” he said on September 2nd.

Still, small businesses and states challenging tariffs say they relied on imports, raised consumer prices and hurt American businesses that caused uncertainty among Americans.

“Repeated decisions by the lower courts have not made it clear that the government will impose unilateral tariffs that will result in these severe consequences,” some of the challengers’ lawyers told the Supreme Court. “Therefore, this court review is essential, and that last word is urgently needed.”

Trump is attempting to use the International Emergency Economic Force Act, a law historically used to impose economic sanctions and other penalties on foreign enemies.

The law does not mention tariffs, but the administration points to the president’s power under the laws that “regulate” imports in the crisis. Trump says the country’s sustained trade deficit and the flow of fentanyl to the US are eligible for such an emergency.

In its 7-4 decision, the U.S. Federal Circuit Court of Appeals said it was unlikely that Congress intended to grant the president unlimited powers to impose tariffs.

“The law gives the President a significant power to file many lawsuits in response to declared national emergency, but none of these cases expressly include the power to impose tariffs, duties, or taxation rights,” the court said in its August 29 ruling.

Among other challenges posed by two Illinois toy importers, another federal court similarly said tariffs exceeded the president’s powers.

The lower court’s decision will not affect tariffs issued under other legal authorities, such as Trump’s duties on steel and aluminum imports.

And Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent said that if the Supreme Court says it cannot use the International Emergency Economic Force Act, the administration has other ways of import taxes. But the US will have to send refunds to countries around the world during that time, Bescent said it would be “worrisome for the Treasury Department.”

The US has already raised hundreds of billions of dollars in tariffs. That could increase to as much as $1 trillion by June next year, Bescent said in a declaration filed before the Supreme Court.

“The longer the final verdict is delayed, the greater the risk of economic disruption,” he said.

The High Court often announces its biggest decision in June. However, the judicial willingness to track cases promptly suggests that it will control more quickly about the legality of tariffs.

The White House “supports” professional reviews of Jeffrey Epstein’s trump card

0

A former FBI Forensics handwriting analyst has reported that USA Today should be able to tell whether the obscene letter is forgery or written by Trump.

play

WASHINGTON – The White House said on September 9 that it welcomed professional handwriting experts to allow them to paint notes and indecent pictures in the birthday book of dishonest financier Jeffrey Epstein to prove they don’t come from President Donald Trump.

“We’re certainly going to support that,” White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt said during a briefing with a reporter. “The president did not write this letter. He did not sign this letter.”

Leavitt said he has already seen some forensic analysis of signatures that show that this is “absolutely not a real signature of the president.”

One former FBI forensic handwriting analyst told USA Today that a consideration of Trump’s alleged signature on a birthday card by a qualified professional forensic document examiner can be crucially proven that it is his signature or based on a variety of specific markers that cannot be easily detected with the naked eye.

“You’re basically comparing side-by-side the entire list of features, including letter spacing, size, slants, letter formation and stroke formation, and overall alignment,” Meredith DeKalb Miller was the supervising forensic documentary examiner at Quanto’s FBI Laboratory since 1998.

Dekalb Miller currently runs his own consulting business, analyzing hundreds of documents and testifying as an expert on whether he has been proven as a qualified professional in federal and state courts. “There’s a precedent because there are a lot of legal cases in which forensic handwriting has been hospitalized in court as evidence for over 100 years,” she said in relation to the lawsuit Trump filed against the Wall Street Journal about the report.

In June, Trump sued Journal, the first news outlet to report the letter on July 17, condemning the release of the honor and amidst losses and sought $10 billion in damages. The Journal was based on reports, but the White House continues to call the letters fake.

“We have a specific one, Jeffrey.”

The 2003 book given to Epstein on his 50th birthday, including a letter Trump allegedly sent to Epstein, was one of numerous documents from the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, released on September 8th.

Notes in question – Signed by “Donald” in cursive surnameless – includes a drawing that outlines a naked woman and a typed note depicting the conversation between Trump and Epstein. “We have something in common, Jeffrey,” says Memo.

“Happy birthday – it could be another great secret every day,” says Trump to Epstein.

The most distinguishing feat of the signature is the long tail of the second “D” in Trump’s name. Trump’s signatures do not include tails in his official signatures on executive orders, bills and other official White House documents, from both his second and first term.

However, an analysis by The New York Times revealed that several letters Trump wrote to New York City officials from 1987 to 2001 were similar to signing Epstein’s book. Other Trump critics, including lawyer George Conway and liberal commentator Keith Olberman, have posted past letters received from Trump, similar to his signature.

Dekalb Miller refused to speculate on the authenticity of the letter, and whether the signature belongs to Trump or forgery.

She told USA Today that a professional forensic document examiner is using a “conclusion scale” with nine levels of probability, from aggressive identification to “exclusion.” There are various odds between these two extreme conclusions.”

Dekalb Miller said various groups are perfecting and standardizing the techniques and techniques used in handwriting analysis, including an expert working group on human factors in handwriting inspections. The group is supported by the National Institute of Justice and the National Institute of Standards and Technology or NIST.

Forensic Document Examiners can be found at local, state, and federal crime labs. It also provides training to select individuals for analysis, comparison and evaluation of the documents asked, says Dekalb Miller’s website.

Forensic Document Examiners work for the FBI, Secret Service, Internal Revenue Service, Postal Inspection Services, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Army Crime Institute and other agencies. Many of them continue to work in the private sector after leaving the government.

Elderly people are the only age group that is seeing an increase in poverty. This is why.

0

Data from the Kensus Bureau shows that seniors are the only age group to see an increase in poverty in 2024. Without government help, it could get worse, experts say.

play

Poverty is on the rise, but only among older adults, according to the US Census Bureau’s annual poverty report.

Based on formula measurements, a simple calculation based on pre-tax cash income compared to national thresholds, the percentage of elderly people in poverty rose from 9.7% in 2023 to 9.9% last year, data show. Using more comprehensive supplementary measures, including non-cash government benefits, we took into account tax and intrinsic costs such as healthcare and labor-related costs, adjusting for regional differences in housing costs, and advanced poverty increased from 14.2% to 15%, achieving the highest poverty level of all age groups.

The increase was in contrast to all other age groups, which remained reduced or stable.

The official measures have led to a decline in poverty for children aged 18 to 64 years of age in 2024 from 10% the previous year to 9.6%, while poverty for those under the age of 18 has fallen from 15.2% to 14.3%. Using supplementary measures, poverty was stable at 12.2% for ages 18-64, but last year it slipped from 13.7% of children to 13.4%.

“Another time, older Americans are sinking into poverty, just like 11,000 people turn 65 every day,” said Ramsey Alwin, president and CEO of the National Council, a nonprofit focused on improving the lives of seniors. “A country as rich as us should be shocked by how over 9.2 million elderly Americans struggle to cover basic costs like food and medicine.”

Why are more elderly people falling into poverty?

Not only have older people had to tackle rising inflation since the pandemic, they are also dealing with expensive nursing care costs, some experts said.

“The rise in senior poverty reflects the wider care crisis affecting older Americans,” said Jason Ressendes, president and CEO of the Nonprofit National Alliance for Care. “Our latest research shows that almost half of family caregivers include 14 million elderly people themselves — face a significant financial burden from providing care by saving a lot of money and taking on debt.”

“If older Americans don’t have access to affordable care services, families will bear the financial burden and create a cycle in which more seniors will be forced into poverty,” he said.

The expiration of support during the additional pandemic era has also been undermined for many years. “When that help was gone, poverty increased,” Alwyn said.

Poverty among seniors has been rising annually since 2020 based on supplementary measures, according to Census Bureau data. in

What can you do to help the elderly?

Programs such as the Supplementary Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicare Savings Program (MSP), and Medicaid provide much-needed support that must continue.

But “The recently enacted cuts to snaps will increase hunger among older Americans, and the recently passed Medicaid cuts will lead to an older sick population,” she said.

Instead, “Congress needs to reapprove and fully fund Medicare improvements under the Patients and Health Providers Act (MIPPA) that helps Medicare low-income beneficiaries pay for healthcare and prescription drugs,” Alwyn said. “The program was extended 14 times with bipartisan support to provide a concrete return on investment.”

She added that better education, outreach and registration for these programs is also needed. The NCOA Benefits Participation Map shows that 70% (9 million) of older Americans are eligible for these programs but not registered.

Additionally, social security needs to be strengthened, experts say. The program “continued to be the largest anti-poverty program,” the Census Bureau said in its report. Social Security said last year’s supplementary measures had separated 28.7 million individuals from poverty in 2024.

“In America, the ability to age well with health and financial security should be a right to everyone, not a privilege,” Alwyn said.

Trump signs memo chasing pharma ads

0

play

President Donald Trump signed the memo on September 9th to increase enforcement action against businesses that use drug ads aimed at consumers and do not properly disclose side effects from drugs.

According to senior White House officials, the ads have broken into social media without proper disclosure with many online pharmacies who do not follow the same rules that many pharmaceutical companies follow.

“My administration ensures that the current regulatory framework for drug advertising provides fair, balanced and complete information for American consumers,” the memo says.

Enforcement has also declined over the years, with no letters being sent last year, officials said.

The administration will also assume social media companies and social media influencers who are paid to promote medicines without following the same rules that pharmaceutical companies adhere to.

“We’re where we spend 20 to 25% on budget marketing and advertising, and the majority of that is advertising,” said a senior White House official. “I would like to ask these companies to spend 20-25% of the budget for these advertising to lower drug prices for everyday Americans.

The administration will also consider closing “appropriate clause loopholes” that allow pharmaceutical companies to omit a comprehensive list of any side effects.

The loophole says companies are posting side effects and potential harms elsewhere, on websites, and on prints, and referring people to other sources to get complete information.

The US has added 911,000 jobs, the revision shows. What does that mean?

0

play

According to a report released on September 9 by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. companies employed around 1 million workers in the 12 months that ended in March.

The annual revision of the BLS is a normal and anticipated part of the challenging challenge of measuring health in the world’s largest economy, but this year may make even more sense. The release comes weeks after President Donald Trump fired his then-dealer at the agency after receiving a disappointing monthly employment report despite drawing a picture of the economy that was slightly stagnant than official data had previously suggested.

Additionally, the economy added a disappointing 22,000 jobs in August.

“The level of employment growth step-by-step makes much more sense when it comes to the atmosphere and the reactions we hear from people trying to find employment.

Before the release, economists believed that an average of 146,000 jobs were created per month over 12 months. “It’s not a gangbuster,” Tedeski said.

But the downward revision of 911,000 jobs over that 12 months slices those profits in half. Tedeschi said the increase in employment of 70,000 a month is only ruined for the size of the US economy and population.

BLS revisions are frequently made

Analysts who rely on data produced by BLS say that the revisions may be attracting attention from Washington, but are a normal part of the process of gathering information.

“We’ve been working hard to get the better of our customers,” said Danny Bachman, an affiliate professor of economics at George Washington University and author of the Nowcast blog.

“These revisions have been part of my life as a predictor and analyst tracking what’s going on in the economy,” Bachmann said. “When collecting economic data, they happen because there is a trade-off between timeliness and accuracy.”

Monthly work reports that many Americans may rely on family and business surveys, and that they may be error-prone, especially if responses are not received.

More reliable data comes from actual employment roles, but collecting takes months. The revision, released on September 9th, faces another round of refinement. The downward revision announced in August 2024 for the 12 months ended March 2024 was originally estimated at 818,000 and later revised to a still-rich, 598,000.

Most importantly, it is to enable BLS career civil servants to do their job.

“I think it’s a shame that economic data has become the subject of such a political focus,” Bachmann said.

“I don’t like the results of the job data you’re getting, so firing a BLS commissioner is probably the most influential thing you can do to raise. distrust In the data, Tedeski added.

  • iPhone Air: $999
  • iPhone17: $799
  • iPhone 17 Pro: $1,099
  • iPhone 17 Pro Max: $1,199

Pre-orders begin on Tuesday, September 9th, with smartphones being released on Friday, September 19th.

iPhone 17 Pro

“Joz” Joswiak, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, has announced the iPhone 17 Pro, available for Silver, Deep Blue and Cosmic Orange. The iPhone 17 Pro offers 39 hours of video playback.

According to Patrick Carroll, Apple’s iPhone Camera Architecture Manager, the iPhone 17 Pro features an 18-megapixel front camera and three 48-megapixel rear cameras. It also has a sensor 56% larger than previous generation iPhone cameras.

The smartphone comes with an 8x telephoto lens, the longest telephoto lens for the iPhone. This is comparable to one Apple Pro camera lens, Carroll said.

iPhone 17 Pro Accessories

Joswiak has announced a new TechWoven case featuring multiple fabrics woven together in addition to the clear, colored silicone case for the iPhone 17 Pro.

iPhone Air Accessories

Apple is releasing additional battery packs that can be added to slim smartphones. With this extra battery attached to the back of a smartphone, users will get 40 hours of video playback.

Apple offers two cases for semi-transparent, thin smartphones less than 1 millimeter. The lightweight bumper case is also available in four colors: the iPhone Air, and can also be used as a crossbody strap for carrying your phone.

iPhone Air Cameraenhancing battery life

The new smartphone will offer dual capture video capabilities, allowing users to record video on both the rear and front cameras at once, said John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of hardware engineering.

Do you always feel like you’re running out of battery on your phone? The iPhone Air offers a new “adaptive battery mode,” Ternus said. This feature tracks usage when your smartphone is not in use, saving battery life.

The rough and rough iPhone Air

Tim Millet, Apple’s Vice President of Platform Architecture, said the iPhone Air will feature Apple’s new A19 Pro, a 5-core GPU and a 6-core CPU. What does that mean? Millet says that it’s the fastest CPU or processor on any smartphone.

iPhone Air Details, colour

Apple Industrial Designer’s Abidur Chowdhury has debuted the Apple iPhone Air. At just 5.6 mm, it is the thinnest iPhone ever. iPhone Air is available in black, white, gold and sky blue.

iPhone 17 Camera

The iPhone 17 comes with a 48-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel 2x telephoto lens, says Megan Nash, Apple iPhone product manager. The iPhone 17 features an 18-megapixel front camera with a “center stage” feature. It automatically pans and zooms to keep one user or multiple people in the frame.

The front camera also has a square sensor, Nash said. What does that mean? Your iPhone doesn’t have to rotate in different directions. If users want to take photos of the landscape, they don’t need to turn their smartphone sideways, Nash explained.

iPhone 17 colorsdisplay and other features

Kaiann Drance, Apple’s Vice President of iPhone Product Marketing, said the iPhone 17 is available in lavender, mist blue, black, white and sage.

The iPhone 17 comes with a 6.3-inch display with thin corners. Drance said the phone has three times better scratch resistance than the previous model. It also comes with a full-day battery and 8 hours of video playback. With a 10-minute charge, the iPhone 17 can power 8 hours of video playback.

Tim Cook has announced four new iPhone models for the latest version of the iPhone: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone Air.

The Apple Watch Series 11 is available in Jet Black, Silver, Rose Gold and Space Grey.

The Apple Watch SE3 is a new model for Apple users, with silver starlight and midnight darkness.

Apple Watch Series 11: What do you know?

Watch Marketing Stan Ng’s Vice President of Apple has introduced the Apple Watch Series 11. The new Apple Watch model is scratch resistant twice more and features a 5G modem.

The watch also features Apple’s new liquid glass appearance with various new watch faces.

Ng added that the Apple Watch Series 11 has more health features, including menstrual cycle, mental health and heart rate tracking. The Apple Watch Series 11 also features new sleep score features, said Sumbul Admad Desai, Apple’s Vice President of Health. This feature helps users better understand their sleep patterns through tracking bedtime, heart rate and sleep duration.

The device offers extended battery life that lasts up to 24 hours, Ng said.

Some new technologies in the market to track your training? Apple’s leader said the Airpods Pro 3 offers heart rate sensing and up to 50 new workouts that can be started through earphones alone.

AirPods Pro 3 offers increased battery life

Kate Bergeron, Apple’s vice president of Hardware Engineering, said the Airpods 3 will offer eight hours of battery life, starting from the six-hour battery life of the previous model.

The AirPods Pro 3 hearing aids offer over 4 hours of battery life than the previous generation.

AirPods Pro 3 offers live translation

Bergeron said the new AirPods Pro 3 model will offer live translation services powered by Apple’s artificial intelligence technology.

This feature allows users to provide live translations via earphones, and speak loudly in the background slightly behind others. Users can also speak in one language. This translates live through text or speech by connecting iPhones, Bergeron added.

AirPods Pro 3

To launch the event, Cook has announced the next generation of AirPods: AirPods Pro 3.

The Airpods Pro 3 includes an ultra-low noise microphone and a fissure in the foam-injected ear, Bergeron says.

The new model features two times more improved active noise cancellation than the AirPods Pro 2, which Bergeron explains, giving it a four times better than the original AirPod.

The AirPods Pro 3 costs $249. Pre-orders are available as of Tuesday, September 9th and will be released widely on Friday, September 19th.

Apple CEO Tim Cook welcomed Apple users and media experts to Apple’s highly anticipated “Awe Dropping” event on Tuesday, September 9th.

The “Awe Dropping” event will be held on Tuesday, September 9th at 1pm (ET/10am). The event will be held at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.

Apple events can be streamed on the Apple website, Apple YouTube channel, or the Apple TV app.

The Israeli attack in Qatar was “very unfortunate,” the White House says.

0

play

WASHINGTON – The White House has stomped accusation of Israel’s unprecedented air strikes in Qatar targeting Hamas leaders, saying President Donald Trump “feels it very bad.”

White House press chief Caroline Leavitt notified the Trump administration of the impending attack just before it happened, adding that it was “very sadly in part of Doha.”

“We are unilaterally bombing within Qatar, a sovereign state, a close ally of the United States, working hard to take risks bravely to mediate peace with us, but we are not moving forward with Israeli and American goals,” Leavitt said. “But it is a valuable goal to eliminate Hamas, who benefited from the misery of those living in Gaza.”

The Doha strike marked the expansion of Israeli military action against Hamas in the Middle East, including the Arab Gulf, where Palestinian Muslim groups had long been political foundations.

Trump immediately instructed his special envoy in the Middle East, Stephen Witkov, to notify Qatari leaders that the attack was taking place, Leavitt said.

After the attack, Trump spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he “has made his thoughts and concerns very clear,” and that he believes “the unfortunate incident could serve as an opportunity for peace.”

Trump assured Qatari leaders in another conversation after the attack – Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jasim al Thani and the country’s chief Tamim bin bin Khalifa al Thani – “That kind of thing will never happen again in their soil,” Lewitt said.

“The president sees Qatar as a strong American ally and friend and feels very bad about the location of this attack,” Leebitt said.

Citing Hamas’ sources, Reuters and Al Jazeera reported that Hamas negotiators, which were targeted by Israel, survived. Air sirens mourned in Jerusalem around 8pm local time as the troops reported temporarily hiding incoming rocket attacks from Yemen and their residents.

Netanyahu said Israel took “all responsibility” for the attacks and called it a “completely independent Israeli operation.”

“Israel has started it, Israel has done it, and Israel is fully responsible,” Netanyahu said.

Trump denies signing Epstein’s book, but past signatures are similar

0

President Donald Trump says the birthday message to disgraceful investor Jeffrey Epstein, whom he allegedly signed, is fake, but a series of comparisons with the Trump signature in the first name shows some similarities.

On September 8, the House Oversight Committee released a 238-page “Birthday Book” that was gathered for the now-deceased 50 Epsteinth Birthday in 2003.

The 165-page leather book features a signature reported by Trump, saying, “Happy birthday.

learn more: What do Epstein’s books have?

Trump has denied contributions to the book. He filed a $10 billion defamatory loss lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal and its owners on July 18, after the Journal reported.

At a briefing on September 9th, White House Press Officer Caroline Leavitt said Trump “has not written this letter. He didn’t sign the letter, which is why the president’s external legal team is actively pursuing lawsuits against the Wall Street Journal.”

Republican lawmakers are also disputing their credibility.

However, the comparison between the book’s signature and documents that Trump has signed in the past reveals some similarities.

Can’t you see our graphics? Click here to reload the page.

An analysis in The New York Times notes that the signature of the letter reflects more closely the others from that period when Trump signs only in his name, not in the first and last.

The birthday note is signed by “Donald” in Prosperity of the End. The signature has been close to six other Trump signatures over the years, according to CNN and other news sites.

◾1984: A letter to Am Rosenthal, executive editor of the New York Times.

◾1995: A letter to members of the Palm Beach Committee.

◾1996: A letter to Rudy Giuliani, the mayor of New York at the time.

◾1997: Trump’s book “Trump: The Art of Comeback,” an inscription owned by Epstein.

◾1999: A letter to former CNN host Larry King.

◾2014: A letter to former MSNBC host Keith Orberman.

The book is packed with obscene photos, with many faces black, with both 50 Epstein handwritten and entered messages by handth His birthday was reported by USA Today. It lists notable figures such as former President Bill Clinton and Professor Alan Delsitz, professor emeritus to Professor Harvard Law Law, and “Friends,” neither they nor Trump have been indicted in collaboration with Epstein.

Trump would agree to a forensic review of the signature to prove that it wasn’t him, Leavitt said.

“We’re going to support that. We’ve seen a lot of forensic analyses of signatures come out. I think it was a daily signal that we published work with three separate signing analysts who said this was definitely not a real signature of the President,” Leavitt said.

The 401(k) billionaire has reached new arrivals in 2025 so far, Fidelity says

0

play

  • Many 401(k) savers benefited from not panic in the beginning of 2025.
  • Bystander cash helps to ensure that retirees and those close to retirement don’t panic in stock market meltdowns.
  • According to new data from Fidelity Investments, the average balance of 401(k) rose 8% in the second quarter to June 30th.

Retirement savers, who didn’t panic in early 2025, were to earn rather sharp profits in their second quarter 401(k) plan, instead of more pain.

And some even ended up as billionaires.

According to the latest data from Fidelity Investments, the 401(k) billionaire hit an all-time high in the second quarter. Fidelity reported that 595,000 savers had at least $1 million in 401 (k) in the second quarter of 2025.

This is 16% up from the 512,000 savers split into seven digits in the turbulent market in the first quarter. However, many savers saw losses at the beginning of the year. At the end of last year, Fidelity reported that 537,000 people had become billionaires created by 401(k).

Average 401(k) balance reached a new record high

On average, many savers didn’t have to be afraid to peek at the 401(k) statement as of late June.

According to new data from Fidelity Investments, the average 401(k) balance rose 8% in the second quarter ending June 30th. This has been the highest quarter since the fourth quarter of 2023.

According to Fidelity Investments, the average 401(k) balance also hit a new record high in the second quarter, with the average balance being $137,800 nationwide.

As a benchmark, some experts recommend that you aim to earn at least one salary in your retirement savings between the early 30s and mid 30s. Save early and consistently saves will help you continue to make retirement nest eggs.

Fidelity Investment’s 401(k) data is based on 25,600 definition contribution plans for a variety of companies across the country. As of June 30th, the plan covers 24.6 million participants.

“The fact that many of the retirement savings maintained the course through market volatility that occurred at the beginning of the quarter — including continuing to save and not changing asset allocation — played a large part in the balance of account balance that many savers experienced.”

Shamrell said history showed that when markets recover, they often do so quickly.

The stock fell in the early 2025 tariff talks

Without a doubt, investors included the dramatic fallout in April on Wall Street early in 2025, as they caused joints in both the stock and bond markets, including the dramatic fallout in April.

Despite ugh headlines early in the second quarter, many retirement savers did not succumb to panic and hit the brakes.

According to Fidelity Investments, only 5.5% of retired savers who adjusted their 401(k) asset allocation in the second quarter left. Of the people in this group, 82.5% (approximately 8 of the employees) only changed one change.

The latest updates from Fidelity are more comfortable than those reported a few months ago.

In June, Fidelity reported that average 401(k) retirement account balances fell 3% from the end of last year to $127,100 from the first three months of this year. According to Fidelity Investment Data, Savers has seen a 1% increase in the first quarter of a year ago.

Many people benefited from continuing to save and invest, even when that was the last thing they wanted to do.

Regarding second quarter savings, Fidelity said the total average savings rate of 401(k) coincided with the previous quarter.

The average contribution rate for employees was 9.5%, while the contribution rate for employers was 4.8%. Together, the overall savings rate is 14.2%. This is close to Fidelity’s proposed savings rate of 15%.

2025 offers new ways to save more with your 401(k) plan

Like some Gen Xers, some baby boomers who continue to exist in the workforce can save much more with the 401(k) plan than last year if they choose to do so, based on some new rules.

From 2025 onwards, savers who become 60, 61, 62, and 63 years of calendar year will be subject to a significant “catch-up” contribution in the 401(k) plan. These savers could contribute up to $34,750 in their 2025 401(k) plan.

People under the age of 50 face a contribution limit of $23,500, up to 401(k) in 2025.

These 50 and older are allowed to “catch-up” contributions of $7,500, driving the largest contributions of many to $31,000 in 2025, unless they are in the sweet spots of the early ’60s.

Why things worked for the saver

Getting motivated to save more money can prove tricky when the stock appears to be a crater.

But Robert Bilky, CEO of Sigma Investment Counselor in Northville, Michigan, said investors who have responded to April’s weakness by selling stocks will become wealthy today.

“The key lesson from the turbulence of the past eight months is that short-term market fluctuations should not determine long-term strategies,” Bilky said.

Certainly, many people find it difficult to put more money into the stock market during their downfall.

However, similar to the April decline, short-term market movements could serve as a reminder for portfolio reviews and rebalancing, according to Bilkie.

“In fact, he said this discipline after the April dip started to increase stock allocations at favorable times for many investors.

Now, many speculate about interest rate cuts, and as President Donald Trump is urging Federal Reserve policymakers to do so, I’m wondering if we’ll see a string of interest rate cuts in the coming months.

That’s a harsh call, as the Fed’s purpose has long acted independently and never gave up its jaw from the White House.

Currently, rate cuts are expected on September 16th and September 17th at the next Fed meeting. However, it may be difficult to say whether this year or next year or next rate cut will be even greater.

Three more Fed policy meetings remain on schedule in 2025. The September meetings, the October 28th and October 29th, and the December 9th and December 10th.

“Forecasting interest rates is even more dangerous than predicting common stock prices,” Billkey said.

Regarding stocks, Bilkie said he suspects the stock market will move sideways for the rest of 2025.

When it comes to bonds, investors may want to maintain a maturity mix that has a comparable portion in short-term, medium-term and long-term bond funds, Bilkie said.

Will September bring cold weather to the stock market?

As September enters, we hear a lot of talk about Dow Jones Industry Average and the S&P 500 historically posting the worst month in September.

September got off to a choppy start in September as it closed at 45,295.81 points on September 2nd, losing 249.07 points or 0.55%.

The Dow was closed on August 28th at a record high of 45,636.90 points.

“Does that mean “take money and run”? “We asked Sam Stoval, Chief Investment Strategist at CFRA Research.

“It certainly isn’t. Especially since the market shows investors, how did it recover from the decline?”

The S&P 500 fell nearly 19% during tariff-induced selloffs in early 2025, Stovall said, but it took less than three months to recover all that was lost. The S&P 500 rose more than 30% from April 8th to the end of August.

He also said that when viewing every year since World War II, the S&P 500 is typically 80% ahead of the fourth quarter.

“As a result, history reminds us that buying is more profitable than bail,” Stovall said.

Stovall said that money markets, which are treated as safe shelters, are locked at $1 per share, so they do not lose value, but if interest rates fall in the future, the revenue received will decrease.

What should a retirement saver do now?

Luckily, many people panicked and quickly retired and put all their savings in money market funds.

“The good news is that most 401(k) investors didn’t run cover during the spring tariff-related market downdraft. They put their portfolios, so they were able to enjoy the recent benefits of the market.”

This is consistent with behavior in other market environments, she said more investors will rebalance investments and buy stocks at a lower price after the market sale, as they delegate portfolio management to targeted funds and other managed account types.

Even investors who manage their own money aren’t likely to trade much on their 401(k) plans, she said.

What should investors do now? The answer depends heavily on how close you are to retirement.

Generally, Benz plans to retire in a few years for anyone under the age of 50, so it makes sense to hold a high-stock portfolio. But look at your specific holdings and make sure your portfolio doesn’t “flock disproportionately to the biggest stocks in the US market.”

To help diversify, she said she has some exposure to small value-style companies, as well as non-US stocks that have not performed in the past decade.

Adding international index funds will provide exposure to undervalued sectors in the US today, including financial services and industrial stocks.

People over 50 said that if they don’t look closely at their asset allocation, they could invest more in stocks than they’d noticed.

That’s true given the strong run that stocks have seen overall in recent years compared to safer asset classes.

“It might seem appealing to stick to a very stocked portfolio,” Benz said. “But as you approach retirement, it’s wise to at least start moving your money into safer assets like cash and bonds.”

She says that cash and bonds probably won’t surpass stock prices for long periods of time, but if you need to spend money from your portfolio when inventory drops in value, they are buffers.

“You can spend on secure assets and don’t have to sell stocks when inventory is in the trough,” Benz said.

Benz said it generally recommends that retirees and retirees hold enough cash and bonds to cover their five to ten year planned spending from their portfolio to protect themselves from the expanded market downdraft.

Bystander cash could become a safety net for the Wild Circus on Wall Street. Even when things may seem bleak, investors with cash can afford to wait for it rather than panic.

RFK reveals plans to combat chronic diseases. Some people are disappointed.

0

A new report from RFK’s Make America Healthy Commission focuses on research, mild policy reforms, deregulation, agency restructuring, and increased education to combat childhood illnesses.

play

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s campaign to curb the chronic diseases that plague millions of Americans is expanding to include new guidelines for food and drug advertising and suggestions to increase breastfeeding rates through a “safe supply of donor breast milk.”

These recommendations are included in a report released September 9th by the Make America Healthy Commission in Kennedy. It seeks to establish many other policy reforms, including new definitions of ultra-high-processed foods, revisions to dietary guidelines, restrictions on food dyes, and an increase in infant formulas amidst its policy reforms.

In particular, Kennedy’s group has not addressed pesticide restrictions, a major concern for Trump’s Cabinet Secretary Maha base.

Agriculture Secretary Brook Rollins defended pesticides at a press conference on September 9, saying the products used by farmers are “the strictest,” “the most data-filled,” and “the most scientifically intensive review process in the world.”

“There’s definitely no perfect process, but it’s a powerful process that our farmers are waiting for,” she said. “Pesticides and other crop protection tools are absolutely essential to America to ensure that we do not compromise our food supply system.”

The report is the second installment of the Make America Health Again Commission, established by President Donald Trump by executive order at Kennedy’s oath ceremony in February.

The report’s policy reforms include proposals for certification reforms for medical education programs focused on treating the root causes of chronic diseases in the United States, as well as suggestions for increasing breastfeeding rates through a “safe supply of donor milk.”

Some praised the report. Bani Hali, a Maha food activist who works closely with Kennedy, said she was impressed with her progress.

“If I asked if there was any progress a year ago about reducing food chemicals in ultra-highly processed foods, I would have said no. It’s not surprising what Secretary Kennedy accomplished with the Maha Committee and this strategy. “Americans may ultimately get a safer version of the products food companies make for other countries.”

But others aren’t that happy. The report does not delve into the policies to regulate pesticides, particularly glyphosate, which are the main active ingredients of Roundup, which are the pesticides, particularly glyphosate, that have been sought by many environmental nonprofits and the Maha base in Kennedy.

Kennedy Ally’s important Zen Honeycutt called the previous leak draft on the pesticide report statement “very disappointing.”

“This Maha Committee report on pesticides was clearly influenced by chemical companies,” she wrote in her blog, adding that the report “protects the benefits of pesticides and addresses the convenience of agrochemical farmers.”

The first committee report, released in May, covers ultra-highly processed foods, environmental chemicals, lack of physical activity, chronic stress and “excess semen.”

The second report provides an action plan to combat these factors that promote chronic disease. Although some Maha supporters were hoping for policy reforms regarding the use of pesticides in the agricultural industry, the report relies heavily on research.

“If Republicans want to maintain Maha’s support for the long term, they need to stop surveillance with pesticide companies and show leadership on these issues,” said Charles Eisenstein, who served as a failed speechwriter for Kennedy’s 2024 presidential election.

The Trump administration has worked to balance the demands of the MAHA movement alongside Kennedy, a vaccine skeptic and longtime environmental lawyer, with concerns from farmers and ranchers, the main Trump district.

More than 250 groups representing farmers, ranchers and pesticide companies urged the Trump administration in June to ask for opinions on future MAHA committee activities. This summer, the White House held a series of meetings with food and farm groups to discuss the committee’s work.

The report says the Environmental Protection Agency can inform the public of the pesticide review process and work with the US Department of Agriculture to promote the accuracy application of pesticides, reducing overall use.

The EPA will consider exclusion from contamination laws for some farms and meat processing operations, the report says.

Some of Kennedy’s more controversial topics on vaccines and fluoride are also featured in the report. The committee’s report said it would investigate HHS’s investigation into vaccine injuries, “modernize” the vaccine, “answering the conflict correctly” and “ensure scientific and medical freedom.”

“What we have in this report is this administration’s commitment to addressing these questions about gold standard science,” said Dr. Jay Bhatacharya, director of the National Institutes of Health. “Children in America look forward to a brighter future, they will be healthier and will have a longer lifespan than we are at the table.”

Cracker Barrels will not modify the restaurant after logo controversy

0

play

Welcome eclectic wall design, oil lamp fixtures, wobbling wooden tables. After all, cracker barrels don’t modify restaurants.

Country stores and restaurant chains announced on September 9 that they have not proceeded with restaurant remodeling a few weeks after reversed the course of their logo changes that sparked widespread controversy.

“We’ve shared our voices not only in the logo but also in the restaurants over the last few weeks. We’re continuing to listen,” Cracker Barrel said in a message on its website. “Today, we are pausing modifications. If your restaurant is not remodeled, you don’t have to worry. It’s not.”

Cracker Barrel said it tested the modifications only in four of the 660 locations. Nevertheless, the chain said it would make sure all restaurants are “well and meet your expectations.”

“We hope that today’s steps will reinforce your voice, along with the recent announcement that the ‘old timer’ logo remains and a big focus on the kitchen and your plate,” Cracker Barrel said.

Cracker Barrel announced a restaurant remodel earlier this year

The company announced during its second quarter revenue call in March it will remodel 25-30 locations and “refresh” another 25-30 with the aim of attracting young crowds.

According to Tiktok’s video cracker barrel posted last year, the updated restaurant featured new lighting, decorations, tables and chairs. Instead of wall dividers covered with South-style wall decorations, the bookcase held a handful of items, highlighting a more open atmosphere.

Some commenters quickly disapproved of a new, more modern redesign.

“Listen, if you don’t have trouble reading triple-papered menus with the light of the kerosene lamps on the wobble tables of wooden chairs that you don’t care about the most,” one commenter said.

Another said, “Swing and mistakes. We eat here. I’ll get what you tried. I’m bright and don’t want to open. I want to go back to Grandma’s house.”

Cracker barrel flip-flop with updated logo

The change in mind regarding the cracker barrel restaurant modifications came two weeks after a similar switch-up of the planned logo redesign.

On August 19th, Cracker Barrel unveiled a new simplified logo with the launch of a fall menu campaign called “All The More.” The logo still featured the company’s classic gold and brown palette, but removed the man sitting next to a wooden barrel.

Some customers have denounced the logo change, with one Instagram commenter calling it “cold and sterile.”

Meanwhile, some conservatives have suggested that the new logo is political. President Donald Trump also wrote in a true social post that if he returns to the long logo, the chain can win “free propaganda.”

“Cracker barrels need to go back to their old logos and accept mistakes based on customer response (the ultimate poll) and manage the company more than ever,” Trump said on August 26th. He has since shared more social media posts with the brand’s logo.

On the same day as Trump’s first post, Cracker Barrel dropped a new, highly critical logo and said it would return to the “old timer.”

“We thank our guests for their love for your voice and the cracker barrels. We said we would hear,” the company’s statement said. “Our new logo is gone, and the ‘old timer’ remains. ”

Walz pushes back FDA restrictions and protects Minnesota’s Covid vaccine

Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz signed the executive order on Monday, September 8th, in response to new FDA Covid-19 availability recommendations.

play

  • Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz has signed an executive order to protect state access to vaccines.
  • The order follows new federal guidelines that restrict access to the latest COVID-19 shots.
  • Walz’s order allows Minnesota healthcare providers to use medical judgment to administer the vaccine.

Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz has signed the September 8 executive order, nearly two weeks after the Food and Drug Administration approved the latest Covid-19 vaccine, protecting vaccine accessibility.

On September 27, US Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made a more strict limit on who has access to the new shot.

“The emergency use permit for the Covid vaccine, once used to justify a wide range of orders by the public during the Biden administration, has now been revoked,” Kennedy wrote on August 27th on X, formerly known as Twitter.

According to the new FDA guidelines, patients over the age of 65 with existing health problems and those with existing health problems will be recommended for the Covid-19 vaccine under the new guidelines.

Walz’s new executive order will provide healthcare providers with the ability to “use medical judgment” to recommend and manage vaccines.

“Vaccinations are one of the biggest public health outcomes in modern medicine,” Walz wrote in a statement. “The Trump administration is trying to restrict access to preventive care for Americans, but Minnesota is led by science and medical expertise, prioritizing the health and safety of our people.”

The Minnesota Department of Health reviews Covid-19 vaccine vaccination recommendations and will issue protocols by September 24th.

MDH and the Minnesota Department of Commerce will meet with health professionals and industry stakeholders to identify barriers to vaccine access and provide WALZ recommendations for potential solutions by October 6th.

Kennedy did not provide a reason for the change in recommendations. However, the recommendations do not mean that the vaccine is not available to those who want it.

“These vaccines are available to all patients selected after consulting with a doctor,” Kennedy wrote in the post.

According to USA Today, insurance companies typically adhere to federal recommendations, and those who don’t meet federal recommendations may cost around $200.

Israel targets Hamas leaders in Qatar’s airstrikes

According to a television in Qatar’s Al Jazeera, the attack targeted Hamas Gaza ceasefire negotiators and cited Hamas sources.

  • “Israel has started it, Israel has implemented it, and Israel is fully responsible,” the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement.
  • Qatar’s Foreign Ministry called the attack a “criminal attack.”
  • Israeli loved ones were “tracking the development of Doha with deep concern and intense anxiety,” the Hostages and Missing Family Forum said of the attack that was held hostage in Hamas on October 7, 2023.
  • Qatar was key to negotiations for the Gaza ceasefire and the return of the remaining 48 hostages.

JERUSALEM – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country is “fully responsible” for the unprecedented airstrikes of Hamas leaders in Qatar.

“Today’s actions against Hamas’ top terrorist chiefs were a completely independent Israeli operation,” Netanyahu’s office said in a statement on September 9th.

Israel launched an attack on Hamas leaders in Qatar’s capital Doha on September 9th. The strike is an expansion of military action that is reaching the Middle East, including the Gulf Arab state, where Palestinian Muslim groups have long been politically based.

Reuters and Al Jazeera reported that Hamas negotiators, which were Israeli targets, survived, citing Hamas sources. Air sirens mourned in Jerusalem around 8pm local time as the troops reported temporarily hiding incoming rocket attacks from Yemen and their residents.

White House condemns Qatar’s attack

The White House scolded Israel in attacks on US allies.

“To unilaterally bombard the nation, a sovereign nation and close US ally, Qatar, is working hard with us to take risks bravely and peacefully, and will not advance the goals of Israel or America.” “However, it is a valuable goal to eliminate Hamas, who benefited from the misery of those living in Gaza.”

Leavitt told reporters that the White House learned of the pentagonal attack “just before,” and President Donald Trump later spoke with Netanyahu. She said the US military was notified “just before the attack” but did not respond when asked by whom.

“The Trump administration has been notified by the US troops that Israel was attacking Hamas. Hamas was, very unfortunately, located in part of Qatar’s capital, Doha,” Leavitt said.

Responding to the fatal shooting of Jerusalem

In a joint statement with Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, Netanyahu said the strike was approved after six Israelis were shot dead by Palestinian gunmen outside Jerusalem on September 8th.

The Israeli family was taken hostage by Hamas in an attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023. “We are following Doha’s development with deep concern and intense anxiety,” the Hostages and Missing Family Forum said in a statement. “Now, the serious fear depends on the prices that the hostages may pay.”

Sherry Tal Mellon, an opposition lawmaker from Israel, also expressed concern about the hostages.

“The Israeli intelligence report and security forces will reach anyone who tries to hurt us wherever they hide,” she told USA Today. “At the same time, it is important to remember that, more than all the achievements, Israel’s highest obligation is to the 48 hostages still in Gaza, 704 days later.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry said that Israel’s “criminal attacks” are “a blatant violation of all international laws and norms and poses a serious threat to the safety and security of Kataris and Qatar’s residents.”

“I won’t go back”

Qatar’s Gulf Emirates have played a key role in negotiating the Gaza War, which killed 60,000 Palestinians and 1,200 Israelis.

Yakov Amidler, former Netanyahu national security adviser, told USA Today that Doha’s strikes reflected the “new Middle East” since October 7th. “Hamas has an obligation to destroy all the remains wherever you are.”

“We’re not going back to what was before,” he said.

It was unclear whether or how ceasefire negotiations would continue after Israel’s attack on one of the main sponsors of the speech.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has condemned the strike as “a serious violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

He said Qatar is playing a positive role in speaking out for the ceasefire and hostage release. “All actors need to work to achieve a permanent ceasefire rather than destroy it,” Guterres told reporters.

Pope Leo expresses concern

Pope Leo, who normally refrains from speaking from the cuff, has expressed unusually strong concern about the outcome of Israeli strikes in Qatar.

“There’s really serious news right now. Israeli attacks on the leader of Hamas in Qatar,” the Pope told journalists outside his summer residence in Castel Gandolfo in southern Rome.

“The whole situation is very serious,” Leo said. “We don’t know how things go. It’s really serious.”

However, Israel’s UN ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, defended the attack.

“The exact strike in Doha targeted the senior Hamas leaders who planned the October 7 massacre and celebrated while citizens were accused,” he wrote to X. Citing Hamas’ sources, Qatar’s Al Jazeera Television said the attack targeted ceasefire negotiators in Hamas Gaza.

Several explosions were heard in Doha, an eyewitness said.

A plume of black smoke swirling from the city’s Legtifia gas station. Next to the station is a small residential lot that has been patrolled by Qatar’s elite Amirigaard 24 hours a day since the Gaza conflict began.

Israeli media cited high Israeli officials, saying the attack was targeted at Hamas’ top leaders, including its exiled Gaza chief and top negotiator, Khalil al-Hayya.

  • Oceanfront Estate Palm Beach, 1214 N. Ocean Blvd, sold for $37 million after being asked for $49.5 million.
  • Sellers John and Diane Scully owned the property as trustees.
  • The new owner is Delaware-based Chestnut Park Holdings LLC, a deed recorded on September 5th shows.
  • The two-storey Bermuda style home features 7,906 square feet of living space both inside and outside. The facility measures on acres and crosses the coastal road directly from the beach.

Former Apple CEO John Sculley and his wife Diane have given up on the oceanfront home at the northern tip of Palm Beach, Florida for $37 million.

In 2018, Sculleys paid $14.925 billion for the five-bedroom oceanfront house at 1214 N. Ocean Blvd., built in 1951 and separated from the beach by coastal roads. In 2023, the couple quickly bought another 1950s home to the west, scoring $11.35 million on 110 Mockingbird Trails. The parcel increased the size of the property to about one acre, property records show.

The Delaware registered limited liability company, named Descnut Park Holdings LLC, is the new owner, according to a deed recorded on September 5th. The document shows that Chestnut Park Holdings has a mailing address at 200 West St., New York City, at the tower that houses the global headquarters of Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Company.

Attorney Ilsye Dogenas, also known as Ilsye McKeon, signed the mortgage documents on behalf of Chestnut Park Holdings. She is a partner in the real estate team at the New York state law firm Wizards, and “helps the company’s clients in all aspects of luxury home real estate, including buying, selling, construction, renovation and design.”

Dogenas declined to comment on the transaction. Due to Delaware’s strict corporate privacy laws, other information about those connected to the purchasing entity was not immediately available in public records.

Palm Beach Daily News, part of the USA Today Network, was the first media outlet to report on the sale of Sculleys real estate after the sales list was updated on September 2nd.

The two-storey Bermuda style home features 7,906 square feet of living space, both inside and outside. Standing halfway between the Palm Beach Country Club and the northern tip of the island. At the corner of the Mockingbird Trail, the Estate extends the full block between North Ocean Boulevard and North Ocean Way.

The facility includes a private beach cabana in a transferred parcel on the other side of the house.

Sculleys sold the property as a joint trust of the 1214 NOB Recocable Trust, property records show.

In July 2024, the Palm Beach Architecture Committee approved the design of a major renovation and recruitment project at the facility. It was never built and the project would have added a new garage and guesthouse to the vacant lot. The project also included separate gallery buildings that were connected to the main house and garage buildings, with glass passages on either side of the garage building.

It is not possible that the new owner of the property will carry out the project that Michael Perry, Principal of MP Design & Architecture, designed for Skullie, in Palm Beach. Perry had designed improvements to the previous main residence after Skullie acquired it.

Christian Angle of Christian Angle Real Estate was just a list broker for sales that was closed. He had priced $54.9 million when he joined multiple listing services in January. According to MLS, its price fell to $49.5 million in March, with the property landing on June 20th under the contract.

Angle’s sales list describes the home as “a stunning beach house with gorgeous ocean views and rich finishes.”

K2 Realty Inc. broker James Kenny negotiated the opposite angle on sales, MLS shows.

Kenny could not immediately request comment, and Angle declined to discuss the deal.

John Scully led Apple in 1985 when the company’s late co-founder, Steve Jobs, left the company after repeated clashes with Scully and Apple’s board of directors. In 1997, employment returned to lead the Technology Giant.

Before his tenure at Apple from 1983 to 1993, Sculley served as Vice President and President of Pepsico. He has since been involved in many companies, many focusing on communications, technology and healthcare.

Former construction executive Diane Scully declined to comment on the sale of the property on North Ocean Boulevard. She and her husband had their homes kept as their primary residence in the latest Palm Beach County tax roll.

Diane Sculley has been captain of the Admiral Cove community since 1995 and owns an apartment complex on Jupiter, real estate records show.

The interior reminds us of a casual beach cottage, so the house, which just sold, has vast windows with ocean views on Hokuyo Boulevard. In addition to the property’s beach cabanas, owners also have access to the Neighborhood Association’s larger beach cabanas.

The house looks like a one-storey structure when viewed from the east. However, the property slops from east to west, so the view from the back of the house reveals that there are two levels.

The vast second-floor family room, crowned with pitched beamed ceilings, features open glass door walls on a large balcony overlooking the pool and pool cabanas.

When Skullie purchased the Maine residence in 2018, they were represented by Agent Paula Wittman. Paula Wittman was at the time in the old Fite group, today William Ravis South Florida. Whitman negotiated Douglas Elliman’s estate and Agent Payton Smith, opposite Richard Steinberg. The sellers in 2018 were David and Sara Fischel.

Corcoran Group agents Dana Koch and Paulette Koch performed on behalf of the couple in the May 2023 property purchase of 110 Mockingbird Trail by Sculley. The seller was Nancy M. Faris, represented by Aubrey Cooley, an agent of one of her daughters, Brown Harris Stevens.
