The FIFA World Cup Round of 32 officially began today with Canada vs. South Africa. That’s it, the first team advances to the round of 16.
The game was scoreless for the first 90 minutes, but Canada scored in stoppage time to defeat South Africa and advance to the Round of 16 for the first time in World Cup history.

Which teams will advance to the World Cup Round of 16?
After one match, one team advances to the Round of 16. Additional teams will advance as games are played throughout the week.
When does the Round of 16 start?
The Round of 16 begins on Saturday, July 4th with two matches. In the first match, the winner of Germany vs. Paraguay will play the winner of France vs. Sweden.
In the other match, the winner of Canada vs. South Africa will face the winner of Netherlands vs. Morocco.
