Watch a reporter try Pabst Blue Ribbon Pickle Beer
PBR x Grillo’s Pickle Beer is a limited edition lager that is a collaboration between Pabst Blue Ribbon and Grillo’s Pickles.
Natural Light has come up with a new way to keep drinks cold for beer drinkers this summer.
The beer brand exclusively revealed to USA TODAY the launch of the CoolShed, a shed-sized walk-in beer cooler powered primarily by rooftop solar panels. In other words, CoolShed harnesses the power of natural light to keep it cool.
Natural Light tells USA TODAY that one lucky customer will have the chance to win a lifetime worth of beer money in the form of a fully constructed Cool Shed and one prepaid card with more than $15,000 listed on it. The brand says the card can be used to purchase 24 packs of Natural Light every month for 35 years.
The brand also says the first 500 fans who enter for a chance to win a CoolShed will receive beer money.
“With so many summer activities centered around backyard projects, cooking, and spending time with friends, we wanted to create a fresh solution to a relatable seasonal challenge: how to keep cold beer within reach when temperatures rise,” said Kristin Stowe, director of marketing for Anheuser-Busch’s Busch and Natural Light product families. “Natural Light has always been a celebration of hard-working moments in the backyard, and CoolShed brings that spirit to life by rewarding that hard work with ice-cold nutties.”
How to enter for a chance to win a CoolShed
Natural Light says from now until Friday, July 31, customers can enter for a chance to win a CoolShed by visiting NaturalLight.com/CoolShed.
The company says the CoolShed features an advanced temperature control system, 250 cubic feet of cooling space, and sturdy shelving to store “dozens of cases of Nutties.”
