“KPop Demon Hunter” balloons appear at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Large inflatable balloons depicting the characters Derpy Tiger and Susie were tested before the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
One of Macy’s 14 stores will close in the coming months, leaving some shoppers with less than two weeks until the store closes permanently.
The Macy’s store at Pittsburgh Mills Mall in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, is scheduled to close on April 26, according to local media outlets TribLive and WTAE. The store is one of 14 stores Macy’s announced will close in the first half of 2026.
Macy’s also announced in January that it would close 150 stores this year. The company said in a statement that the closure was an effort to “better serve our customers and support our long-term growth.”
USA TODAY reached out to Macy’s again to get specific closing dates for the stores listed below, but did not immediately receive a response.
