Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have become red carpet officials after a year of dating.
Perry, 41, and the former Canadian prime minister, 54, attended the premiere of the pop star’s new music documentary, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris, on June 8 during the Tribeca Festival in New York City.
The two posed for a photo together, holding hands and looking into each other’s eyes. Mr. Perry wore a floor-length white gown, while Mr. Trudeau kept his look simple in a white dress shirt, black blazer, and matching slacks. Prime Minister Trudeau followed Perry along the carpet, greeting fans with selfies and autographs.
The film will premiere at the annual festival, along with other documentaries featuring fellow musicians such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Peter Frampton and Alicia Keys. Shot in November 2025, Perry’s film, directed by Paul Dugdale, details her ambitious Lifetimes tour concerts captured by 60 cameras during performances in Paris.

Mr. Perry and Mr. Trudeau have been in a romantic relationship ever since it was reported that they would visit Montreal in the summer of 2025. Shortly after, Trudeau was caught singing with Perry at his Montreal concert, confirmed in a video posted on social media.
The two became Instagram official in December, with Perry posting a collection of photos and videos from her time in Tokyo. This included spending quality time with her lover. The two have fueled speculation by making occasional public appearances over the last year, but neither has publicly commented on the status of their relationship.
