Clocks have become a global phenomenon, and the company is touted as “the world leader in innovative casual footwear,” and not only has foam plastic shoes in “sport mode.”

After being sold out in 2024, pet owners have another opportunity to buy a puppy clock as they have released two new colorways for their shoes, two new colorways, light blue and yellow. Both pairs are currently available in three flexible sizes (small, medium and large) for $52.99 and are made from Eva Foam for stretch and comfort.

Pet Crocodile also has “adjustable straps, grippy tread bottoms and ventilation holes,” Chewy said in an email to USA Today.

Pet Crocs will soon be available as a gift with a purchase for new Barkbox and Super Chewer subscribers, or as a Box option for existing members in the next dark colour, according to the Pet Food and Supplies Company.

Pet Crocs sold out on the 2024 release date

When the chewy dropped my first pet crocodile on October 23, 2024, it happened to be a Clock day, but the shoes sold out in about 24 hours. The crocodile, which came out in green and pink colourways, was also released along with matching clogs for its human companions.

At the time, pet crocodiles were on sale for $50.

A guide to chewy pet crocodile sizes

According to the chewy texture, here is a guide of sizes to help you know what you need for your puppy’s paws:

  • small: For pets with 15-25 pounds, 2 inches long and 1.5 inches wide.
  • Medium: For pets between 26 and 50 pounds, the legs are 2.25 inches long and 1.75 inches wide.
  • big: For pets between 51 and 80 pounds, the legs are 2.5 inches long and 2 inches wide.

What is Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk’s activist organization?

Charlie Kirk’s open ceremony on Sunday, September 21st is expected to pay tribute to the life of a conservative firefighter, as well as his political activities.

Turning Point USA, an organization he founded years ago, holds a memorial in Glendale, Arizona, and presents speeches from top Republicans and conservative figures in America.

Speakers include President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance, wife of the late commentator and new director of Turning Point USA, Erica Kirk. Several members of the president’s cabinet will also be present, the organization announced on September 17th, including Tucker Carlson and Donald Trump Jr.

Kirk was killed in one gunshot on September 10th while talking to a crowd of thousands at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, as part of Turning Point USA’s “American Comeback” speaking tour. Utah College was Kirk’s first stop at a dozen cross-country events.

Tyler Robinson, the suspect in the attack, was charged on September 16 with seven felony charges including worsening murder, discharge from a felony firearm, obstruction of justice and tampering with eyewitnesses. Local prosecutors said they would seek the death penalty.

What is Turning Point USA?

Turning Point USA was founded by Kirk in 2012 at the age of 18 and has since become a prominent political force. In addition to its presence on hundreds of college and high school campuses, the organization holds meetings, encourages young people to organize conservative issues, and produces a variety of media such as The Charlie Kirk Show.

Its mission states that it is to “identify, educate, train and organize students to promote the principles of fiscal responsibility, free markets and limited government,” and to build the most organized, active, powerful, and powerful conservative grassroots activists networks on high schools and university campuses across the country.

The group and Kirk are believed to be in close alignment with the Maga movement and helped mobilize Trump’s support for the 2024 presidential election.

Much of that power comes from connections with younger voters, and Kirk has long argued that his organizational chapters were necessary to combat the ideology of the “awakening” classroom. Kirk often met and discussed for the students. He was at Utah Valley University at the first stop on the “American Comeback Tour” when he was killed.

Today, Turning Point USA has chapters on 3,500 high school and university campuses, with 250,000 students as members, with an annual budget of around $80 million. In a social media post on September 18, the group said it had received over 62,000 requests from high school and university students since Kirk’s filming, requiring that they would either launch a new Turning Point USA chapter or join an existing chapter.

The group offers 12 “activism kits” to promote issues ranging from digital resources, access to demanding conservative speakers on campus, and issues ranging from voter registration, freedom of speech, access to guns to kits entitled “Make America Healthy.”

Its website hosts a “Professor Watchlist” tool that allows students to report their teachers and leadership because they have a “radical left” view. A similar watchlist from the School Board has been described as tools for finding and exposing leadership that supports “anti-American, radical, hatred, immoral, racist teachings,” including “critical racial theory, the 1619 project, and sexual/gender ideology.”

Erica Kirk chose to lead Turning Point USA

Turning Point USA said in a September 18th X post that the board unanimously elected Erika Kirk as the new CEO and chairman of the board.

“In previous discussions, Charlie has announced to several executives that this is what he wanted at his death,” the group said in the announcement.

Erika Kirk, 36, vowed in her speech after Charlie Kirk was killed by a gunshot wound to continue her husband’s job.

“The evil ones for the assassination of my husband don’t know what they did,” she said at her address.

Erica Kirk will give a keynote speech along with Trump and Vice President JD Vance at the public celebration in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, September 21st.

Democrats demand a meeting with Trump as the closing deadline approaches

play

WASHINGTON – Two Congressional Democratic leaders are calling for a meeting with President Donald Trump a day after the Senate defeated a short-term funding bill to avoid government shutdowns.

Democrats have urged Republicans to reverse recent Medicaid funding cuts enacted as part of Trump’s major tax and spending laws and extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies. They refused to attack the funding agreement unless those issues were addressed.

In a letter to Trump on September 20th, Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer and House minority leader Hicombe Jeffries wrote that they are “prepared to work towards a bipartisan spending agreement that improves the lives of American families and addresses the Republican health crisis.”

“I don’t understand why I want to shut down governments rather than protecting American healthcare and quality of life,” they wrote, adding that it is the president’s “duty” to meet in person with the president and reach an agreement.

On September 19, Trump proposed to reporters that the government could be shut down.

“We’ll continue talking to Democrats, but I think we can become a closed country for a while,” he said. “And we take care of the military. We take care of Social Security. We take care of the things we have to take care of.”

“A lot of the things Democrats fight are often not that good, but they won’t be paid,” he added.

The House narrowly passed the funding bill on September 19, with a vote of 217-212. However, the senator voted against the bill backed by the GOP by a 48-44 vote on the same day.

Meanwhile, the House of Representatives are scheduled to take a week’s break. If lawmakers cancel their break and don’t come back next week, they will return on September 29th and give them just two days to avoid a shutdown. Funds expire in the middle of the night on September 30th.

“When did it get hot?” Explained the trends of viral ticutoc

0

play

Shannon McDade’s boyfriend suddenly got hot. At least that’s what you think if you scroll to her tiktok.

The 27-year-old from New Jersey joined the latest trends supported by Sabrina Carpenter’s new song, “When Did You Get Heat?” If a user on a social media platform posts a style video before and after his boyfriend or husband. Her video has more than 110,000 views, but similar videos have won millions and millions.

McDade’s Beau was a D1 athlete in Pennsylvania, lifting heavy weights and making shot puts in high school. However, once college was finished, he formed new hobbies such as surfing and hydrogenation, becoming slimmer. He “was a big thrower guy and then this thin, tan surfer guy,” says McDade. “It’s just an interesting transformation, we’re kidding about it.

But is this trend harmful to enjoying objectification? Yes, no, Kimberly says that Vered Counseling Shashoua, a therapist for teens and young adults, often navigates the first relationship. “In my opinion, the ‘husband’s brilliance’ tendency is not about body image, but about the joy of boasting about a traditional, attractive partner with a nostalgic twist. ”

“Titktok’s trends aren’t places of nuance and complexity.”

McDade asked her boyfriend for permission before posting the video. He’s not a fan of social media – the research is related to mental and physical health issues – and, “Now that’s been posted, he says, ‘This is so weird, just like people are looking at me and saving this and commenting on this,” says McDade. The pair have been dating for 10 years and met at age 17 while working as a lifeguard on the beach. She had no pleasant intentions of sewing the videos together.

As Vered Shashoua points out, “Tiktok trends aren’t a place of nuance and complexity. People use trending audio and formats because it’s easy to get views even if the content doesn’t match perfectly.”

When Shashoua is Vered, this trend reflects the current atmosphere of uncertainty. “When things feel unpredictable, people become more and more nostalgic and traditions,” she says. “What’s more nostalgic than a feminine touch fixing everything?”

“I liked him then and I like him now.”

But it’s not all innocent. “There’s a dark side to every trend that focuses on exteriors,” says Vered Shashoua. “When men watch these videos, they may ask themselves, ‘Do I look like the previous photo? Will my partner feel embarrassed posting me?” ”

If you are in such a situation, be aware of this advice: your appearance is just one aspect of your identity. “Find people who make you feel like you are, the activities that invigorate you, and topics that inspire your curiosity,” adds Vered Shashoua. “Life is a 3D experience that can’t be fully captured.”

But for the sake of the record, McDade was just as happy with her boyfriend, The Shot Patter, as she was with the surfer.

Billford shares his favourite memories when Ford HQ moves in 70 years

  • Ford Motor Co. will leave the Glass House world headquarters in 70 years from now for a new building a mile away.
  • Executive Chair Billford says his memory is not connected to the building itself but to the people he worked with.
  • Ford shared memories including a pivotal 2007 meeting with the UAW and a “baptism by fire” during early contract negotiations.

Bill Ford said it was emotional for him to be about a mile away for the new Ford World Headquarters, which will leave the World HQ of Ford Motor Company on Michigan Avenue.

“It’s been our headquarters for 70 years,” Ford said. The company moved to a glass house in 1956.

Ford, the company’s executive chair and CEO from 2001 to 2006, said he has no feelings for the building. Rather, he has the feelings and memories of all experiences with those who have worked with him for 50 years in the building.

“When I think about the World HQ, I don’t think about buildings. I think about who I interacted with there and what I had relationships with people there,” Ford said. “I had so many great things. Even the women who worked in the dining room, the cleaners, they were all wonderful people and I remember them all.”

The company will move people to its new headquarters on Oakwood Boulevard and Village Road this fall.

Ford plans to oust most employees from Glasshouse by the second quarter of 2026. The company then slowly overturned the glass house over the next 18 months, most of which were gone by the end of 2027 or mid-2028. The company is working with the city of Dearborn to come up with ways to make green spaces into parks or other community areas, but Ford continues to own the property.

Bill Ford said he remembered “Zilion” when he saw the building. He began working there underground and he said he remembers once the ceiling fell on him. Or, remembering that no one was looking at him, he was trying to find a way to sneak out of the glass house, saying, “The service elevator has become a great friend of mine.

He sat down with a small group of reporters to share his most powerful and personal memories of his time, working in the glass house.

“I might have heard the pin drop.”

Around 2007, at the start of the Great Recession, Ford said that then-UAW president Ron Goettelsinger had called him asking if he could speak to the company’s board of directors.

“What on earth did you think it was?” Can Ron give me a little hint? ” he said, “No, that’s fine,” Ford said.

So Ford agreed to come and talk to him. He told the board that Gettelfinger was coming, but he didn’t know why.

“Well, it was great. Ron went in and said, “Bill asked if I could help the company. I said to my balance sheet and I want you to know, I love this company, I love this industry, I love this industry, yeah, I would do that and I would do it.” “We could have heard the pindrop at that meeting.”

The three automakers in UAW and Detroit attacked a groundbreaking deal that year, when the union created a trust known as the Vebas (Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association), which put the burden of pensioners’ healthcare coverage that had cost billions of dollars on a multi-billion-dollar company.

Ford said he didn’t know GetTelfinger when most directors started talking to them, but it was “a powerful moment that I always remember. It was a really important moment for me, and for the company.”

Remember: “I won’t exchange anything…”

Ford is a friendship that Ford said he would stick to him, including his time spent with Roberto Goizueta, former CEO of Coca-Cola and director of Ford’s board of directors.

“He was an incredible leader to me and I was at the world headquarters for all my time with Roberto,” Ford said.

He recalled another powerful memory from 1982 when Ford negotiated with the UAW for a new union contract. “I was a pretty young man from the company and didn’t know what I was doing,” Bill Ford said.

One of his first meetings during the UAW negotiation session took place in a large conference room with a long table with around 30 people on either side of it. Afterwards, Ford, a junior member of the team, sat on the wall in the back.

One of the UAW negotiators, “old, old man,” stood up and pointed directly to Ford.

“I’m like, ‘Oh, what a god’s.’ He said, “What are you made of?” “Ford said. “At that point, I’m looking for a place to hide. I said, “I don’t know what you mean,” he said, “I knew your great grandfather, I knew your grandfather, I knew your uncle, and I knew what they were made of.” “

Ford’s great grandfather is Henry Ford. His grandfather was Edsel Ford and his uncle was Henry Ford II.

“I thought, ‘Oh, boy.’ I stood up and said, “You’re lucky more than me because I didn’t know my grandfather or great grandfather, but I know what they were doing.

Finger pointing and questions by Bill Ford’s UAW negotiators lasted a week, he said. Then one night he was walking down the hallway inside a glass house and said, “I saw four of these guys coming to me, and I was looking for a boys room to jump in, and they said, “Hey, what are you doing? Do you want a beer?” I looked around looking at who they were talking to, and I said, “Me?” They said, “Yeah, you passed the test, you were amazing.”

Ford joined the men for a beer at a nearby Miller’s bar, and they all became great friends, he said.

“I remember that,” Ford said. “It was an interesting baptism by fire at World HQ and I didn’t trade anything.”

The Pentagon issues new restrictions to reporters

play

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Defense said reporters attempting to obtain or release information that is not permitted to be published could lose access to the media, according to a new 17-page document obtained by USA Today.

The document that reporters expect to sign, “even if it is not classified, must be approved for information to be made public for public disclosure by public officials.”

Reporters say that if they “engage in a professional act that could help disrupt the operation of the Pentagon,” they may revoke their credentials, including “an attempt to obtain them improperly” or “including categorized national security information or controlled, uncategorized information (not sensitive but uncategorized information).”

“The guidelines in the memo provided to the Pentagon Qualified Resident Media reaffirm the standards already line up with all other military bases in the country,” Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement to USA Today. “These are basic common sense guidelines for protecting sensitive information, national security, and the safety of everyone who works at the Pentagon.”

This document contains other restrictions imposed on reporters. This includes places to roam around the Pentagon itself and whether or not escorts are required.

The Pentagon Press Association, an independent organisation representing reporters covering the military, told Politico it was considering the order. In a statement, president of National Press Club Mike Balsamo wrote that the new mission is “a direct attack on independent journalism where independent scrutiny is most important.”

“If news about our military must be first approved by the government, the people are no longer receiving independent reports. It’s getting just what officials want to see. It should be on the alert for all Americans,” Balsamo said. He called for the restrictions to be lifted.

“The ‘media’ doesn’t run pentagons – people do,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegses wrote in a September 19th post on Defense.

In January, the Pentagon removed several major news organizations, including NBC News, from its workspace after enacting a new “annual media rotation program.”

Young Americans do not use semicolons. Is that important?

0

It’s divisive. It cuts. It drives some people crazy. Author Kurt Vonnegut said of the semicolon: It’s flashy. It is mainly used to indicate that you have gone to university. More than two-thirds of young Americans claim to know how to use it. The test proved with roughly the same numbers, but in reality they didn’t.

Semicolons are wi punctuation marks. It separates items in the complex parts of a detailed list or sentence, as they are stronger, more thoughtful and less understood than humble commas.

Here’s how the partitioning of a semicolon collapses:

College Football Bold Prediction Week 4: Miami in the Upset

play

  • USA Today sports experts have predicted some potential disruptions in the fourth week of the college football season.
  • No. 6 Miami is expected to face a tough challenge from the Florida underdog team.
  • Nebraska was able to continue his revival by upsetting Michigan at home.

This will be something like Hoham’s weekend in college football. Some of the top candidates are ahead of the major showdown in week 5. There are several matchups from ranked teams. These results could have an impact on college football playoff races.

Other games can be a surprise when conference play is swinging full. The friendlyness and self-satisfaction of the favorite side can play a major role in those confusion. But where will they happen on Saturday?

That’s why the USA Today Sports College Football Staff is here. Matt Hayes, Jordan Mendoza, Paul Meyerberg, Eric Smith, Eddie Timanus and Blake Topmeyer weigh in on their daring predictions for the fourth week.

Miami will be tested four-quarters from Florida

For Florida, it’s been a season to forget so far. The Gators lost to South Florida and LSU despite their defenses looking sturdy. Much of the responsibility lies in the struggle of quarterback DJ Lagway. Florida is now heading to No. 6 Miami, with the Hurricane surgening to the top of the college football playoff contenders list. This is closer than expecting Miami to need a last-minute driver to take down the Gator. – Matt Hayes

Tulane remains undefeated with the SEC victory

It feels like people aren’t paying attention to Tulane. It has a solid resume with two compelling victories over the four power teams of Northwestern and Duke. Greenwave heads to Mississippi and plays a rebel team that still doesn’t look like SEC candidates. Jake Letzraff jumps into college football playoff consideration as he continues to play great in the air and the ground to stun Mississippi and move to 4-0. – Jordan Mendoza

Nebraska defeats Michigan if regeneration continues

Nebraska slows Michigan’s run game enough, and Dylan Raiola has another strong game to bring about a big victory over the Wolverines. By holding back the ground game, the Cornhuskers can put pressure on Blythe Underwood. Blythe Underwood wasn’t good in his previous Power 4 matchup with Oklahoma. – Paul Meyerberg

Michigan and Southern California will be four-quarters

It’s not getting much attention this week – perhaps due to the ET start time at 11pm – but the Big Ten matchups in Michigan and Southern California could be one of the best games of the day. Both teams are 3-0 using completely different styles. The Spartans have one of the best driving defenses in the country, but the Trojans lead the country with complete crime. It’s a testament that should remain close to the whole, and there’s a chance that Michigan will have the good fortune to be able to get upset. – Eric Smith

Duke continues to succeed against North Carolina

Duke held its Triangle rival NC State on Saturday, looking to beat Wolfpack for the third year in a row. There is no good reason to predict that the Blue Devils will do that, but they will. Moving the ball wasn’t a Duke problem during a two-game skid. Putting it on the ground was what it was, so if the Blue Devils could stop it, they should be able to hang along with the Wolfpack. NC states did enough on their first three outings, but they weren’t dominant. Wolfpack’s fortune in tight games runs out in Durham. – Eddie Timanus

LSU’s attacks finally bring it to life

Despite having three wins to start the season, it was a tough start for the Tigers. The offense is 107th in scoring with 20.0 points per game. Find a changing story. Brian Kelly demands that reporters only ask questions about LSU’s attack after the Tigers get out of their scoring rut against southeast Louisiana. – Blake Topmeyer

Charlie Kirk shoots death, false trance blame sways fear

0

play

  • After Charlie Kirk’s shooting, shooters falsely accused that transgender people had spread online.
  • This follows the pattern in which disformation mistakenly links transgender individuals to major gunfires.
  • Statistics show that transgender individuals account for a disproportionately small percentage of large shooters, but are more likely to be disproportionate victims of violence.

The horrifying video of Charlie Kirk, filmed on his neck, circulated rapidly across the internet. So were the false accusations that Shooter was transgender in the days before they arrested Tyler Robinson.

This pattern has been unfolding repeatedly in major shootings over the last few years. Before authorities could release information about the suspect, politicians and commentators submitted a conspiracy theory that the attacker was trans.

Kirk was a prominent conservative activist and a close ally of President Donald Trump. In a 33-hour search of his murderer, a later corrected report found that the ammunition had a message relating to the transgender community engraved on it, but instead the message was reported to be anti-fascist and referring to online meme culture. A thorough video inspection revealed that the last question Kirk answered at the official gathering was about trans shooters. It is possible that they fueled these false flames.

Misinformation about previous shootings has also resurfaced in recent weeks. For example, a list of social media circulating that suspects of Uvalde School’s shootings were trans when he wasn’t.

The Trump administration has repeatedly targeted the trans community. Conspiracy that suggests an increase in transgender shooters is not only wrong, but also fears that falsehood could cause more harm to communities where falsehood is being stripped.

“We have to get them off the streets, we have to get them off the internet, and we can’t let them communicate with each other,” R-Texas Rep. Ronnie Jackson said of trans people in a September 16 interview with Newsmax.

The last question, Charlie Kirk, answered with a very low rate of trans shooters

Charlie Kirk was murdered at Utah Valley University. Kirk’s video shot captured the last words he spoke to the crowd as he engaged in one of these arguments.

“Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the past decade?” Attendees identified as asking by the Salt Lake Tribune by the 29-year-old UVU student Hunter Kozak.

“Too much,” Kirk said.

Kozak said the number was five years old and began asking how many mass shooters there were in total in that time frame.

“Are you counting or not counting gang violence?” Kirk says before Shot gets fired. USA Today estimates the gunman is nearly 150 yards away from the length of the soccer field.

Kozak said, “I want to talk to Charlie about the inaccuracies he thought were promoting.”

There have been 5,221 mass shootings since 2015, according to the Gun Violence Archives. In other words, the five transshooters recorded by GVA account for 0.1% of mass shootings in the past decade.

However, Kirk’s death is not counted in this diagram as the KVA counts mass shootings as more than four people were killed or injured. In all deaths, including political or domestic violence since 2018, 22 perpetrators are known to be transgender, with about 0.005% of the 450,000 shootings told USA Today in a statement to GVA executive director Mark Bryant.

According to the Williams Institute at the UCLA School of Law, 1% of the US over the age of 13 are identified as transgender.

More than 139,000 people have been killed in gunfire since 2018, not individual suicides, according to GVA data. Suicides account for the majority of gun deaths in the US

Misinformation about the transshooter explodes and rewrites Uvalde in the Philadelphia Incident

According to Reuters, mass shootings or violent gun deaths in the United States are being carried out by cisgender men. Cisgender refers to those whose gender identity matches the gender assigned at birth.

It takes time or days for authorities to release information about suspected shootings, and the internet often runs wild with the theory that shooters are trans. Bryant said he killed three students and three staff members in a 2023 school shooting in Nashville, and after continuing since, he began to notice in blogger’s comments.

At the end of August, two children died in a shooting at a Minneapolis Catholic school. Court documents identified the person who fired at Mass back at school as transgender. However, other evidence also suggests that suspect Robin Westman, who died at the scene, was involved in an internet subculture known as “nihilistic violent extremism.”

The list of avoiding social media in the wake of Minneapolis and Kirk’s shootings miscorrelates between mass shooters and transgender Americans, often using misinformation about shooters’ identity.

One widely shared graphics shows a vague list of nine filmings that social media users have pointed out as evidence of “growth links,” but only five of them appear to be referencing filming where the filmer is not cisgender.

Among the graphic shootings that were accidentally attributed to the transshooter, there could be references to the 2022 Uvalde Robb Elementary School shooting, which killed 19 students and two teachers, and “Philadelphia,” a rampage in 2023, which left five people dead. Police said the suspects had not identified as proposed by elected officials, NBC News reported.

“As opposed to refer to the actual causes of easy access to guns and guns, we are struck by the opportunity to accidentally smear vulnerable communities over and over again by the opportunity to accidentally smear vulnerable communities,” LGBTQ media advocacy group Glaad said in a statement to USA Today. “The more the conversation shifts towards the suspect’s orientation and gender, the closer it is to the tangent for the suspect, the less conversation there will be about the gun.

False information: “Drum beats to lift the bloody country for trans people”

The trans community has become an increasingly target of conservative rhetoric over the past few years. Trump’s second administration prioritized rollback protection for trans women, including trying to ban trans women from playing sports, ban transgender forces from the military, and limit their ability to have government IDs that match their identity.

A 2021 survey by the Williams Institute at the UCLA School of Law shows that trans people are more than four times more likely to experience violent casualties than Cisgender people.

Imara Jones, CEO of Transrash Media, has long reported on the roots of the Christian nationalism of the anti-trans movement before President Trump. She told USA Today in an interview that Rights had repeatedly tried to use disinformation about mass shootings to exacerbate the trans community.

In the wake of Kirk’s shooting, she said the misinformation claiming the shooter is trans is “a drumbeat to set a national blood deadlock for trans people.”

Promoting false links between the trans community and the large shooter could contribute to the “other” of the trans community and justify efforts to roll back legal rights, Jones warned.

“No one has ever heard of a trans person who feels that what happened can be justified,” Jones said of Kirk’s death. “What I’ve heard is an incredible amount of fear.”

Tyler Robinson was charged with murder. Charlie Kirk’s funeral scheduled for Sunday, September 21st

Authorities said that since Robinson submitted himself on September 11th, Robinson has not cooperated with authorities. The claims allege that Robinson targeted Kirk because of “Robinson’s belief or recognition of Charlie Kirk’s political expression.”

Authorities said Robinson told his roommate in a textbook, “I had enough of his hatred. I can’t negotiate hatred.” Robinson’s mother told police that her son had a romantic relationship with his transgender roommate, but the identity of his roommate has not been publicly confirmed. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox also said in an interview with CNN that Robinson’s roommate, whom he identified as transgender, is working with authorities.

The amount of information shared by the public at this stage is unusual and can complicate the selection of ju-seekers, experts previously told USA Today.

Robinson was charged with aggravated murder, felony discharge of firearms, obstruction of justice and tampering with eyewitnesses. Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray said he would pursue the death penalty in the case.

Kirk’s funeral is scheduled for Sunday, September 21st. Trump is scheduled to attend.

Living on Mars? Here’s what that big discovery means for humanity

0

The small rock patterns on Mars can have a major impact on humanity. This is what you need to know about life on Mars.

play

Searching for Life on Mars dates back about 50 years ago, with the September 10th announcement showing perhaps the most dramatic advances.

News: NASA’s patient rover has discovered potential signs of ancient microbial life on Mars.

The discovery represents “the closest we’ve ever seen to discover life on Mars,” Sean Duffy, acting NASA administrator, said in a statement announcing the discovery.

“Identifying potential biosignates on the Red Planet is a groundbreaking discovery and encourages understanding of Mars,” Duffy continued.

Still, discovery represents a moment of confounding.

Meanwhile, scientists have touted the news as a groundbreaking advance in answering ancient questions. Are we alone in the universe?

On the other hand, this discovery does not prove the existence of ancient life. Experts warn that more work will be needed to confirm these findings.

“If Mars had life, it would be extremely exciting for science,” said Lindsay E. Hayes, NASA’s senior scientist in Mars exploration, in an email. “In addition to answering one of humanity’s oldest questions about whether we are alone, it can affect how life occurs and evolves across planetary systems like our solar system.”

What was announced about Mars?

NASA announced at a press conference that samples of rocks collected in 2024 from the ancient arid riverbed in Jezero Crater could maintain evidence of ancient life. Reddish rocks formed billions of years ago from sediments at the bottom of the lake in Jezero Crater.

What do scientists think about the discovery of “life on Mars”?

Many in the scientific community have been somewhat familiar with these features since last year’s publication, but now there is a great deal of excitement in the publication of papers that solidify them as potential biosignatures. “This is a stage where the scientific community can actually delve into the findings and they are themselves involved as part of the scientific process,” Hayes said.

What’s going to happen now?

The next few years of science will focus on the specific results of this paper. She expects that this will include research that seeks to identify alternative ways to create the function measured here. In the long run, the best way to properly confirm these findings is to return the samples for analysis at the terrestrial laboratory.

What would happen if there was a life on Mars?

Hayes said that confirmation of ancient life on Mars would begin a series of new questions, such as:

  1. Life always begins, and are the conditions appropriate?
  2. If life was born on either Mars or Earth, could it spread to other planets through a normal process?
  3. Is life still somewhere on Mars today?

The surface of Mars is not habitable today, Hayes said. “Since the Viking Landers, NASA’s Mars exploration has focused on finding water, looking for habitable environments from the past, and searching for signs of past life, but there has been no purpose to find modern life on Mars.” (The Viking Landers investigated Red Planet about 50 years ago.)

“As we explore our solar system further and deeper into the underground of our planets, we hope we learn more, including things that have different possibilities in life,” she said.

How to watch Charlie Kirk’s additional service on TV live or stream

A bloody “kiss bug” stays here. Where will the map be displayed?

0

“Kisses” from these insects can become fatal if left untreated. Chagas disease, or “bug kissing” disease, is a potentially fatal disease caused by the parasite trypanosoma cruzi and transmitted by blood-absorbing tritomin bugs. According to Texas A&M University, they usually bit the victim’s mouth and eyes, so they got the nickname.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a warning about the number of cases in the United States. Chagas disease is currently prevalent enough to be considered endemic or a regular disease.

Here’s what we know about kissing bugs and Chagas disease:

A kiss bug has been found in the US

Kiss bugs have been happening in many states since the mid-1800s, according to the Texas Ecosystem Research Institute. There are 11 types of kissing bugs in the US. Eight states report that human cases in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas have acquired human cases of Chagas disease.

Rural areas in the north, south and Central America are home to Chagas disease. More than 7 million people are suffering in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina, according to the World Health Organization.

Can’t view the graphics? Click here to see them.

What does a bloody kiss bug look like?

Kissing insects can grow to a quarter size with flat, oval dark brown or black bodies with red, orange or yellow stripes along the edge.

Insects are found in rural and suburban areas, usually hidden in the walls and roof gaps of houses and nearby buildings. They often hide during the day and come out at night to eat the blood of humans and animals.

The national research program based at Texas A&M University has received approximately 10,000 reports of triteminbugs in the United States since 2013. It carries just over half the bugs and can cause human diseases.

How is Chagas disease contagious?

A kissing insect bites and sucks on the blood of an infected host, which can become a carrier of parasites. The insect then passes through the parasite through its feces. According to the CDC, if someone rubs or scratchs the bite site, it can spread the disease into the wound or into the eyes or mouth.

Symptoms and treatment of Chagas disease

There are two stages of Chagas disease. The first stage, the acute phase, usually occurs immediately after infection within the first few weeks. At that early stage, Chagas disease can be cured with antiparasitic medications. The second stage, chronic phase, occurs over a longer period of time. There is no treatment for progressing to the chronic stage, but symptoms and complications can be managed.

Unfortunately, many people are not bitten as the victim may not show symptoms of a Chagas infection until several months after contracting the disease.

According to the CDC and Mayo Clinic, there are symptoms to look for.

How can I know if I have Chagas disease?

Lab tests can detect the presence of parasites using small blood samples. Treatment for the disease includes symptom control and antiparasitic treatment that eliminates disease-causing parasites. There is no vaccine.

Charlie Kirk, Jimmy Kimmel and growing concerns about cancel culture

0

play

  • Some conservatives have begun to raise concerns about the Trump administration’s efforts to silence critics of late activist Charlie Kirk.
  • FCC Chair Brendan Kerr threatened his actions against the ABC due to comments by host Jimmy Kimmel, leading to the suspension of the show and accusations of government enforcement.
  • While some quickly pointed out differences with Kimmel, others, such as Sen. Ted Cruz of R-Texas, are concerned about the FCC’s power to punish speeches.

WASHINGTON – Conservative podcaster Tucker Carlson has warned the Trump administration that it is stepping into the right to free as he tried to silence critics of activist Charlie Kirk after the assassination in Utah.

“We hope that a year from now, the confusion we saw in the aftermath of his murder will not be utilized to bring hate speech laws to the country,” the former Fox News TV host said in a special edition of his podcast on September 17th.

Carlson’s remarks reflected concerns raised by other conservatives about efforts to close and retaliate against those who laughed at Kirk’s death or those who were openly critical of his hard-pressed political views.

Radio host Ryan Gorman in Tampa, Florida, said Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Kerr went too far when he threatened retaliatory actions against the ABC if he didn’t punish late-night host Jimmy Kimmel for his comments about Republican reaction to Kirk’s death. ABC responded by pulling Kimmel’s show into the air indefinitely.

“We’re looking at a million ways that this could get worse in the future,” Gorman said. “This isn’t a good step here. The FCC chairman is too far away from the way he is trying to control things and bend the will of the Trump administration to different businesses. You don’t want the government to have that kind of power.”

Even the Wall Street Journal’s conservative editorial board denounced Carr’s threat to ABC over Kimmel’s comments. The paper criticized Kimmel for his comments on Kirk and anti-Trump views, but the editor on September 18th said “the government should not push anyone away from the car.”

“The Disney squeeze looks like a case of cancellation culture on the right,” the editor said.

For many free speech guardians, the campaign to shame and silence Kirk’s critics is not only a dangerous threat to the First Amendment, but it is part of a “cancellation culture” that has long denigrated Democrats and others to the political left.

“It’s the same cancel culture that we’ve come from the left before, and it’s now being directed at a different target,” said Bob Corn Leber, the lead lawyer for the Foundation for the Individual Rights and Expression, a nonprofit that protects freedom of speech.

George Floyd, Charlie Kirk, “Cancel Culture”

One was a black man who died in a face down on Minneapolis Street after a grocery store clerk accused him of handing over a bill of counterfeit $20. The other was a white conservative activist who was shot down by an assassin on a university campus in Utah.

The death of George Floyd on May 25, 2020 and the Kirk on September 10, 2025, occurred five summers and 1,200 miles away. But both touched on a movement that further prejudices a country already deeply divided by political ideology, and punishes those who were not punished by views that were already in line with the general sentiment of the moment.

Protesters flooded the city to demand racial equality and police brutality in the aftermath of Floyd’s death as the political left demanded that the nation stand up against a racially complicated history. A statue of a Confederate general fell, and people were publicly shamed on Twitter and fired by their employers for comments deemed racially insensitive. The Chick of the country pop music group Dixie dropped “Dixie” from its name. Conservatives and others were furious about the dangerous “cancellation culture” aimed at rewriting history and silencing people with dissent.

But a week and a half after Kirk’s assassination, it is the conservatives who have called for retaliation against those who have made comments on social media critical of Kirk and those who are deemed to be celebrating his death.

More than 100 people have faced the impact on Kirk’s comments about Kirk’s murder, according to an analysis by USA Today. High school teachers and university professors were fired or disciplinary after posting anti-ironic comments on social media. Doctors, lawyers and first responders were fired, suspended, accused or investigated. There are also journalists, government workers and private companies employees.

Kirk’s quest for retaliation against critics once again raised questions about the restrictions on freedom of speech, raising alarms for the role of the Trump administration.

Vice President JD Vance called out those who celebrated Kirk’s death and urged Americans to call their employers. Attorney General Pam Bondy proposed that the Justice Department investigate people engaged in “hate speech,” but she later retreated, saying the agency would only target those who incite violence.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the State Department has refused visas to foreigners who celebrated Kirk’s assassination. Defense Secretary Pete Hegses said military personnel and Pentagon employees could be punished for praise for Kirk’s murder.

In his first speech in January, President Donald Trump, who vowed to end government censorship and regain free speech, praised ABC’s Kimmel suspension, saying other broadcasters criticising him as potentially losing his license.

Lee Roland, executive director of the National Union of Censorship, said the administration’s pressure campaign against the ABC is far beyond the cancel culture. To make matters worse, she said, as the FCC controls broadcast licenses that network affiliates need to broadcast.

“This is a rather intense situation of private-sector government enforcement that challenges and seeks to punish people with dissatisfaction with the federal government,” Roland said. “This is a much darker story than the ubiquitous cancellation culture we think is happening right now.”

Cancellation culture is fascinating for all political persuasion people, Roland said.

“People hate cancelling cultures, when they’re targeting people who have the views they support,” she said. “And people tend to cancel cultures and get involved in them, and then call it something else and try to find moral highlands.

The cancellation culture didn’t start with Floyd’s death, but gained momentum after being killed when a white police officer placed his knee on his neck for more than nine minutes while arresting him outside a convenience store. Officers were later convicted of killing Floyd.

Since then, celebrities such as author J.K. Rowling, comedian David Chapelle and then NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick have been targeted for views on transgender issues and racial equality. Companies like Target and Bud Light are facing boycotts about their support for LGBTQ+ rights.

Boycotts and campaigns have often been driven by social media. On social media, large numbers of people can easily share collective anger and publicly shame their nemesis for unpopular political positions and perceived misconduct.

“It’s much easier to do this kind of cancellation culture than back then when you had to get up on Twitter mobs and grab a torch or pitchfork and go to town squares,” Cornlaver said.

“Abuse of corruption in power”

Kirk’s death turned the script over. Republicans who once complained about cancelling cultures are embracing efforts to shut down those celebrating his death and questioning his legacy.

House Democrat leaders have denounced Trump and the GOP of Censorship and the Navigation War in the First Amendment. They denounced Carr’s threat to the ABC as “abuse of corruption in power” and called on him to resign as FCC chairman.

Although Republicans have not done it before, some of them suggest that the administration has left overboard as they attempted to shut up Kirk’s critics.

Rep. Brett Guthrie, a Kentucky Republican who chairs the House Committee overseeing the FCC, did not mention Carr by name. However, he said at an event in Washington on September 18 that businesses will act to reflect what consumers want, but the government should be careful about what it does.

“We need to be very careful just because someone doesn’t agree with what they say,” Guthrie said. “We have to be very careful not to try and use government to influence what people say.”

Sen. Ted Cruz of R-Texas in a podcast on September 19th warned that conservatives will lose once the government begins to decide what people can say.

Cruz said he was excited that Kimmel was gone, claiming that the comedian’s brain “melted” when Trump returned to presidency, “it became bitter and troublesome, and lied about Charlie Kirk.”

“If we go down this path, there’s a time when Democrats win again and win the White House,” he said. “They will silence us and use this power and use it mercilessly,” he said, “and it’s dangerous.”

Resignation is a major transition. Here’s how to make it easier:

0

play

In the film About Schmidt, star Jack Nicholson creeps into the bar alone while star Jack Nicholson is praised at his retirement party. We see a man going to life from a purposeless, meaningful job that brings problems to himself and others. He was lost.

Life often reflects fiction. According to MIT’s Age Lab, retirement evokes conflicting feelings, such as excitement about freedom from work and anxiety about having enough money or purpose.

Of course, money is important and many people have experienced what I call “income withdrawal syndrome.” But what we need is also to discuss the psychological consequences of retirement.

Are people preparing about how they feel first, second, 100?th Retirement day? Do people have a retirement coach, counselor, or therapist who handles the many conflicting and ambiguous emotions they have?

From hundreds of interviews with retirees, I learned how to make the transition easier. Here are some important points.

Expect surprises

In my personal note, I thought retirement would be a cake. After all, I was studying and writing about transitions. I met up with my financial advisor and got a great retirement party.

But when I realized I was out of focus, when I didn’t know what to do with my business card or why I even needed it, I knew I should learn more.

One I spoke to experienced two retirements, one when he left the theatres on TV and off-Broadway. There, I worked in many behind the scenes areas. The other was the people who left state schools for the deaf and were responsible for multiple disabilities whose role as a teacher, principal and assistant supervisor was highly rewarding.

Both retirements changed his life – his job role, his everyday life, his relationship – Leaving the theatre, his true love, made him feel that “part of me has been erased.”

The two transitions caused different reactions. One was easy. The other is forced to face him with the loss of his identity and purpose.

Your reaction will always be fluid

How you feel about the day you retire is just one part of the story. That was revealed when he studied men whose work was eliminated at the Goddard Plant at NASA Space Flight Center. Together with my former colleague Zandy Leibowitz, we interviewed everyone who had their work removed on the day of “power reduction” and followed them six months later.

One artist first expressed what many people felt. “This is the worst thing that’s ever happened to me.”

However, I was surprised when I conducted a follow-up round of interviews that many of the men’s attitudes were brighter. What are the main reasons? NASA connected each man with someone from the HR department. The connection was intended to last until the former employee found another job. Our study highlighted the importance of institutional support. This is a great addition to your support from family and friends, where you can look back at your work and changes in life while processing your emotions.

It is important to remember that your response to a transition changes over time. How you feel first isn’t how you feel six months, a year, or ten years from now.

Beware of your psychological portfolio

You will receive a monthly statement showing how our financial portfolio worked. Similarly, many of us go to the doctor for our bodies every year. As you get older, you will have regular blood tests in addition to the annual body to check for cholesterol.

So, doesn’t it make sense to regularly inspect what I call your psychological portfolio? Few people realize we even have it. But we all have a set of resources to help us negotiate a big transition. Resignation is certainly important.

These potential resources include identifying your identity, leaning on your relationship and focusing on your purpose. In other words, when you think about retirement, it is important to consider your new identity, where you know who you were – how you can maximize your personal connections with friends and family, and your new purpose.

Become an investigative reporter

Researching which doctors you use, which plays you attend, and what trips you will take to hire will help you take control after retirement.

Read books on topics. We interview retired friends with retired coaches and gurus. Become an investigator on your behalf. Ask yourself: What regrets do you have? What career dreams have you given up? What kind of retirement fantasies did you have? Next, choose a part of your dream.

For example, being a pilot is unrealistic at a 65-year-old, but contacting the Federal Aviation Administration about the potential volunteering in supporting and supporting pilots can help you get a part of your dreams.

It’s never too late to start dreaming. Her daughter, Karen, a retired art teacher, fantasized about life on the farm, but she had no clue as to how she would start. She began researching with real estate agents. Eventually they sold condos and moved to a small farm to buy a goat.

A goat has reached 25, and she is now attending New York State Sheep and Wool Festivals, selling beautiful threads.

Remember, today is not eternal. The path you take can last forever, or you can change it.

Donald Trump is trying to raise GOP enthusiasm ahead of the midterm elections

0

Powerful parties usually lost their mid-term Congress seats, and Trump fought difficult battles to protect the GOP majority.

play

The 2026 midterm elections have been apart for over a year, but they have done a lot recently and for good reason in the minds of President Donald Trump.

The powerful party in the White House lost its seats in Congress in the year of a campaign that had no presidential elections, and Trump fought a difficult battle to protect Congressional majority and secure more second term victory.

With his legacy and within the party concerns about the enthusiasm of GOP base amid concerns that soften the economy, Trump is once again certifying that he hopes to take extraordinary steps to maintain both-sided Republican control in Congress the last two years before the next presidential election.

Trump promised on social media this week that the GOP will hold a midterm convention as the party appears to build excitement. Such practices are expensive and usually occur every four years only when the White House is in line.

It is also just one of many steps Trump is taking to help Trump stay in power even after his two terms have ended. The president is also working to rebrand the new laws of his signature. This has provided massive tax cuts and novel programs, such as Medicaid, and has encouraged aggressive tariff programs that many voters have been skeptical. Earlier this year, Trump began urging GOP-controlled states to carry out a rare medieval rezoning of congressional maps in the hopes of securing more Republican-leaning home seats. Vice President JD Vance launched an interim campaign at a series of rallys this week in the Michigan House of Representatives.

Democrats argue that Trump’s second term is chaotic and has not improved the lives of working families, and that he will soon face calculations at the ballot box. The party overperformed special elections this year in places like Florida and Iowa, Wisconsin. There, a liberal National Supreme Court judge who beat a candidate who was heavily supported by former Trump adviser Elon Musk. Trump’s medium-term pilot is not hopeless, Democrats say.

“What they’re doing is a sign of weakness,” said Curtis Hertel, the party chair of the Michigan Democratic Party, about the district theory.

Republicans claim that Trump is committed to winning.

“President Trump is leading bold and innovative ideas to energize our party and keep us on the path to victory,” Republican National Committee spokesman Kiesen Pers said of the extraordinary push for holding a mid-term convention.

Will Maga vote without Trump?

Republicans face familiar problems in 2026. Trump will not take part in the vote. Recent history suggests that his Magazine supporters are unlikely to be without him. The GOP won the House of Representatives during the election. Just as Republicans did during President Joe Biden’s term in the middle of Trump’s first term, as did Republicans between both Barack Obama in 2010 and Bill Clinton in 1994.

But Trump’s presidency is rare. He is the second US president in history to serve a discontinued second term after Glover Cleveland. This scenario last unfolded in 1894 when the Democrats of Cleveland suffered a major loss to Republicans.

Polls show Democrats have been fired for opposition to Trump’s presidency rather than Republicans support it. Meanwhile, JD Vance issued an alarm around 2026. The Vice President is considered the heir to Trump’s MAGA movement, and the poor medium-term show could have an impact on Vance’s political outlook.

Vance began traveling the country in the summer and began to raise his enthusiasm for the Trump administration’s policies. Some of them have not been voted much. Vance took place this week in Michigan in the Lansing-Area Swing district of GOP Rep. Tom Barrett, where he promoted a new law for the administration’s signature. Barrett is one of 18 seats considered thrown by handicappers in Cook’s political report.

The mid-term landscape remains unstable more than a year before Election Day. The murder of GOP activist Charlie Kirk sparked political tensions and fired Republicans.

Top Republicans such as Vance are urging their supporters to continue Kirk’s legacy. The murder also urged Trump administration officials to pledge crackdowns against left-leaning groups accusing them of blocking violence.

How these developments take into account factors into the mid-term, there is more twists that could shape the race, over 365 days until the election. However, such contests are usually referendums for the party that controls the White House, giving reasons to be concerned about the reasons for the GOP.

“I think people are ready for change,” said Hertel, chairman of the Michigan Democratic Party.

Vance: “Anger usually wins midterm elections.”

Top Republicans have raised increasing concerns about the midterm, warning that elections will be difficult for basic voters to motivate them.

In a Fox News interview with the president’s daughter-in-law, Laura Trump, Vance shared “bad news” about the election cycle. He said one of the president’s pollers “previously said anger would win the midterm elections.”

“And we’ve done a lot of things we said we were trying to do, so our people aren’t mad,” he added.

Meanwhile, Left said, “I’m very angry and very motivated now,” Vance said.

Polling supports that.

A recent Pew survey found Trump’s approval rate was 38%, with only 27% of Americans saying they “very strongly” approved the president. Meanwhile, 47% said they were “very strongly” disapproved.

Even among Republicans and Republican-leaning individuals, only 54% strongly approve Trump, while 80% of Democrats and those with democratic tendencies strongly disapprove.

The same survey found that Trump’s tariffs were opposed by 61% of Americans, and more people are opposed to his signature law rather than supporting it.

A wobble economy can also be a major concern for the GOP. The job market is struggling, and the Federal Reserve is urging it to cut interest rates this week after months of pressure from Trump to boost economic activity.

Republicans have other potential pitfalls to navigate, including funding the government. A potential closure is looming if members of Congress cannot agree to spending plans by midnight on October 1st.

Hertel has claimed that many Americans are “irritated and angry” about Trump’s presidency. He believes Vance’s trip to Michigan is an attempt to save the prospects of vulnerable Republican House members, but he said the party faces “severe sell-offs.”

“I think he recognizes their numbers are terrible… They absolutely recognize that they are losing base, but the people in the middle are actually bleeding at both ends too,” Hertel said of the push of Trump’s custom.

Democrats are also considering holding a midterm convention as the party is trying to boost voter turnout and raise more money. Democratic messaging has not been that great in recent years, according to Hartel. The party argues that it needs to emphasize “kitchen table issues” such as cost of living.

Recently, Trump has focused on crime. This is an issue that GOPs traditionally have advantages. The party is also incorporating Kirk into the mid-term sales pitch.

At a rally in Howell, Michigan this week, Vance praised GOP lawmakers who represent the area and are expected to have a very competitive race, promoting tax cuts in Trump’s signature law, and said Kirk had a great believer in the measure.

Whether that message still resonates in a year can determine the fate of Trump’s presidency.

It upset the “cancellation” fans over Jimmy Kimmel. Is the boycott the next?

0

play

People across the country are seeking a boycott of Disney and Hulu streaming services after ABC pulled Jimmy Kimmel’s show from the Air indefinitely on September 17th.

Disney is the parent company of ABC. After the decision to pause “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, social media users have begun posting photos of cancellation receipts under the hashtags #CancelDisney and #CancelDisneyPlus.

What people are saying on social media when they cancel Disney Plus

“I’m going to cancel my Disney and ABC subscription for what they did to Jimmy Kimmel. Let them know how mad you are!!!” I wrote one user on X on September 17th.

“I cancelled my Disney Plus and full bundle. It’s a cliff, not a slippery slope, and Disney removed it,” another user wrote on Reddit. “We won’t go to Disney movies. No more. There’s no more parks. No more Star Wars toys and shirts. No more.

A Facebook user said they have cancelled their Disney Plus account after becoming a member since 2019 in protest of Kimmel’s suspension.

Indystar contacted Walt Disney Company on September 19 to comment on its subscription service, but there was no response before this article was published.

Not only ordinary fans, but celebrities are overwhelmed by Jimmy Kimmel’s controversy, and Disney Plus cancellation

Anger is not just from ordinary fans. Celebrities place great emphasis on controversy. This includes notable Disney actors and public figures such as David Letterman and former vice president Mike Pence.

Disney+ series star “Shehark: Lawyer” actor Tatiana Maslany has called on over 500,000 fans on Instagram to cancel his “Disney+, Full, and ESPN) subscription.

Former “supernatural” actor Misha Collins posted on X to her 2.6 million followers.

“It’s very easy to cancel your Disney+ subscription, and Cancerolion’s Collaborative National Day will send you a very clear message about our values as Americans,” actor Wil Wheaton posted on Blueski on September 18th.

Why are people canceling Disney?

Kimmel’s comments about Tyler Robinson, the man accused of killing Charlie Kirk, came during his opening monologue on September 15th.

“We struck a few new lows over the weekend, desperately trying to characterise this child who murdered Charlie Kirk as something other than them, and desperately trying to do everything we could to score political points from there,” Kimmel said.

The conservatives took the issue of Kimmel’s meaning of Robinson being a member of the Magazine. Authorities have not confirmed the motive for the shooting.

In an interview with a conservative podcast, FCC president Brendan Kerr called Kimmel’s statement “the most sickest act possible.”

Nexstar Media draws an episode of Jimmy Kimmel, ABC continues

Nexstar Media, one of ABC’s biggest affiliate groups, announced on September 17th that it would not air episodes of Kimmel’s show. Shortly after this decision, the ABC pulled it out of the air.

Those seeking boycotts are angry at what they consider to be ABC, and in turn, parent company Disney has silenced criticism of President Donald Trump and his administration, sacrificing freedom of speech.

Free speech or business? Mike Pence places emphasis on Kimmel’s suspension

Former Vice President Mike Pence recently said the suspension is not an example of censorship, as it is a decision by the ABC, not the government.

“The first revision doesn’t protect celebrities who say terrible or thoughtless things, as Jimmy Kimmel inspired the tragedy of the nation,” he told the Atlantic.

Kimmel’s suspension came after a threat from Carr, which urged ABC’s parent company Disney to “take action” against Kimmel or the outcome of the risk.

“I would have preferred that the FCC chairman was not carrying any weight,” Pence told the Atlantic.

David Letterman: “You’re all looking where this is heading, are you right?”

Late-night talk show legend and Indianapolis native David Letterman added his thoughts on Kimmel’s controversy during his appearance at the Atlantic Festival on September 18th.

“We all feel bad about this, where is this going. Is it right? It’s managed media. It’s not good. It’s ridiculous. It’s ridiculous,” Letterman said. “And you can’t fire someone because you’re afraid or you’re trying to suck into authoritarian criminal administration in your oval office. That’s not how this works.”

Why are people cancelling Hulu?

Hulu is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC. People are also looking for a boycott of Hulu under the hashtag #Cancelhulu.

Dana White shows how it looks

Imagining the UFC event scheduled for next summer at the White House will no longer depend on imagination.

UFC CEO Dana White provided Fox News with renderings of the event during an interview that corresponds to Sneak Peak. One image shows the White House in the background, and a huge octagon where competitors fight in the foreground (15,000 pounds per white).

White, speaking to Bret Baier on September 19th, in a “special report” on Fox News Channel, “…My vision for this is to have this big arch in the lighting grid, so you can see.

White said that under 5,000 people will sit in the area, but the rendering is in another area, with White holding tens of thousands more.

“Yeah, we can fit 85,000 people,” White told Baier. And people will bring blankets and you know, you can lie down and watch the fight.

“We’re holding screens everywhere for everyone. We’re literally going to take over Washington, DC. We’re going to weigh in. …That’s what we’re talking about. Yeah, and we’re going to hold fan events all week.

The shootout attacks the ABC TV building after “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” suspension

Sacramento police confirmed three gunshots were fired at their local ABC station on Friday, September 19 amid nationwide outrage over the network’s decision to suspend “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”.

At least three bullets have hit an ABC10 television station, confirmed at a press conference by Anthony Gamble, a spokesman for the Sacramento Police Department.

Gambling said that despite the building being occupied at the time, he was not injured.

Detectives are looking for a vehicle where suspects used in shooting and gambling have clarified their investigation.

“I don’t know if this was targeted or if this was a random act,” Gamble told reporters Friday afternoon. “But all I can tell you is, they’re going to follow up while our detectives are on the scene and they try to figure out who is responsible for this.”

A day before Thursday, September 18th, protesters protested outside the television station, denounced the ABC announcement that Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night talk show would be “preempted indefinitely.” The suspension follows anger over comments made by the Emmy-winning comedian about the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Monday, the September 15th episode.

On September 17th, Nexstar Media announced that it would not air episodes of Kimmel’s show on ABC’s affiliate station and the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, Brendan Carr.

The ABC10 Studio is home to Channel 10, a local station KXTV, not owned by Disney, despite the entertainment giant owns ABC.

Gambling confirmed that there were no protests outside the ABC10 building at the time of the shooting.

About 15 demonstrators attended the protest on Thursday for about an hour, Sacramento Bee reported.
