Hegseth tears Pentagon “Decay” and “Fat Generals” at Quantico Meeting

President Donald Trump threatened to fire, while Secretary of Defense Pete Hegses threatened “decades of collapse” with the Pentagon.

Trump gave more than an hour of speaking, touching on the deployment of the National Guard into Democrat-run cities and negotiations to end foreign conflicts. Hegus, who first won the podium before the billboard-sized American flag, revealed his key policy priorities and told the country’s military elite that the new measures would eliminate political correctness among the world’s most powerful military.

As some reports had anticipated, Hegses used the opportunity to praise the “warrior spirit” and “peace by force”, while Trump gave a distinctive speech and was full of self-contribution. Critics said the rally was a waste of taxpayers’ dollars and was dangerous to national security. However, it gave former Fox News anchor Hegseth, who achieved a lower rank than the guests present during his military service.

Check out the important takeaways at Quantico Meeting.

Leaders who are not in sync with the program must “resign”

Both Trump and Hegses said the general and admiral who are troubled by the Trump administration’s programs should resign.

“If you don’t like what I’m saying, you can leave the room. Of course, there’s your rank, there’s your future. Trump said. He told reporters with his distinctive bravery before he arrived at the rally that if he didn’t like them he would fire the general “on the spot.”

See President Trump’s reference racial slur in Quantico’s remarks

While discussing nuclear weapons during a meeting with Quantico’s military leaders, President Trump said there are “two n words” you can’t say.

Hegseth also delivered an ultimatum. He said he should resign as a senior officer if his words became their “heartsink.”

“If the words I’m speaking today sink your heart, you should do something honorable and resign,” Hegses said.

Michael Smith, retired Navy rear admiral and president of the US national security leader, said it was “irony” that Hegses advocated for him to step down politics before he told him to resign if he was not working with his goals.

“The secretary begins to say how important it is for this group of generals and admirals to be apolitical, and he continues to take the atmosphere of cultural frustration and says, ‘If you don’t agree with this political vision, you should resign,'” Smith said.

Smith said the tenors in both speeches were broken by standard.

“Requiring personal loyalty to the administration’s political policy is contrary to the non-political nature of our military,” he said.

Military can use “dangerous cities” as “training grounds.”

Trump suggested in his remarks that America’s “dangerous cities” could be used as “training grounds” for the military.

“We should use some of these dangerous cities as military training grounds,” he said.

Trump suggests using “dangerous cities” for military training

President Donald Trump has suggested that “dangerous cities” could be used for military training purposes.

The statement came days after he deployed the National Guard in Portland, Oregon. Trump also deployed troops in Los Angeles, the southern border, and in Washington, DC. There, many soldiers were tasked with “beautifying” neighborhoods, picking up trash and nipping on leaves.

“Washington, DC has gone from our most dangerous city to the safest city in a month,” he said, praised the national security forces in the country’s capital.

These statements worried Mark Kang-Sian, senior defense advisor to the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

“If the military issues an order specifying that lethal force should be used, that can be a big problem,” Kangsian said. “The military is not trained with nuances about civil rights and the use of deadly force,” he added.

Heggs chases “decades of collapse”

Heggs told the crowd that “decades of collapse” had transformed the army into a “wake department.” Under past leadership, military authorities said they were promoted based on race or gender, with standards slipping and “toxic ideological trash” “infected” the department.

“We’re cleaning up the pieces, removing distractions, clearing up the way of leadership,” he said. “We might say we are ending the war with the warriors.”

Trump, Hegses pushes military overhaul, “fat shame” overweight

President Donald Trump and Pete Hegses vowed to fire the general and accept resignation, pushing for new policies, including military fitness rules.

It was a common theme for Hegseth, who wrote the book “War and Fighting War.” Since taking the reins at the Pentagon in January, Hegseth has led a campaign to end diversity, equity and inclusion, or DEI policies across the military, including firing top generals, firing military lawyers, cutting internet content and kicking transgender forces.

Kangsian, who is also a retired colonel, said the most important part of the speech was “something that wasn’t there.”

“There was no purge of generals, no pledges of loyalty, no demand for compliance with partisan political policies,” Kangsiang said.

When Hegseth ordered a Quantico meeting the previous week, some feared that Hegseth would do that.

Hegseth spoke to top service members

As Hegseth spoke to a crowd of hundreds of decorated members of the military, he paced back and forth in front of a massive American flag reminiscent of the iconic scene of World War II generals in the classic military film “Patton.”

True to military form, the rows of top generals and admirals in his audience remained stoic and silent when he gave his speech.

Trump later recited the silence in the room, saying, “I have never walked into the room in such a silent state. Don’t laugh, don’t laugh. You are not allowed to do that.”

Kangsian said the general and the admiral were “clearly explained how to react.”

The deficit in military leadership experiences was impressive between speakers and audiences. In his years of service, Hegses reached the rank of majors far below the lowest leader in the room, and he never ordered military forces.

In his book, The War on Warriors and public comments, Hegseth outlined his vision of the need for Pentagon outsiders to crush rotten military facilities.

Hegseth sets the “best male standard” for combat roles

Heggs said he instructed the military to return all combat weapon positions to “highest male standards” for physical fitness. Combat weapon units need to add field tests, he said.

He said it would need to regain the standard that it claimed was changed in 2015 to allow women to join the combat weapons unit.

“This is not to prevent women from serving,” he said. “But when it comes to physical force, jobs that require combat, those physical standards must be high and gender neutral.”

Trump, Hegses pushes military overhaul, “fat shame” overweight

President Donald Trump and Pete Hegses vowed to fire the general and accept resignation, pushing for new policies, including military fitness rules.

A few months before Trump chose him to lead the army, Hegses publicly stated that women’s “straight” should not take on a combat role. In April, he ordered the military to restore “sexually neutral” fitness standards. Experts previously told USA Today that women in combat are subject to roughly the same standards as men.

Two fitness tests per year, narrower grooming standards

Hegseth announced that all members of the military must take physical fitness tests from top to bottom, and must comply with height and weight standards twice a year.

“It’s completely unacceptable to see fat admirals and generals in the halls of the Pentagon,” Hegses said.

He also said the Department of Defense would crack down on grooming standards — “There’s no more whiskers, long hair, superficial individual expressions,” he said.

“In my direction, the days of unprofessional appearance are over.”

Hegseth announces whistleblower overhaul of Equal Opportunity Policy

Hegseth announced an equal opportunity policy overhaul at the General Office of the Army and Inspectors, the Pentagon’s internal watchdog that investigates complaints from anonymous whistleblowers.

“We will not overshadow any more frivolous complaints, anonymous complaints, repeated claimants or reputations,” he said.

The Pentagon inspector was one of the 17 institutional leaders fired in January. The position remains open.

Hegseth is facing investigations by representative Pentagon inspectors regarding the use of encrypted messaging app signals to share sensitive information about Yemen’s US military operations.

Trump posts “Racist” video of Chuck Schumer’s Hakem Jeffries during shutdown

  • President Donald Trump has posted a deep video of the Democratic leader following the failed government closure talks.
  • The video generated by AI used racial stereotypes and contained disinformation about immigrants and voters.

President Donald Trump posted a lethal, deep video containing racist rationale trop about immigration after talks with Democrats disagree to keep the federal government open.

Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer and House minority leader Hakem Jeffries met with Trump and Republican leaders on September 29th.

Later that night, Trump posted a video that was clearly created by AI, showing Schumer talking in a fake voice, and Jeffries stands next to him, with sombrero, mustache and Mariachi music playing in the background.

“There’s no way to sugar coat it. No one likes Democrats anymore. There’s no voter left because of awakened, trans (exp remark),” says Schumer’s fake voice. “Even black people don’t want to vote for us, even Latinos hate us. So we need a new vote. And if we give all these illegal aliens free health care, they can’t even vote for us, so they don’t realize we’re just a bunch of awakened pieces.”

Jeffries and Schumer responded to the video by returning them to the fight over government funding.

“Prejudice won’t go anywhere,” Jeffries posted after the Trump video. “Cancel the cut. Reduce costs. Save healthcare. Not back down.”

Dig black voters with videos called racist because of stereotypes about immigration

The video is widely considered racist, including Jeffries himself. Trump shared it on his true social and X accounts, where he won over 22.8 million views.

The video contains some disinformation. According to Pew, about half of US immigrants speak English, US immigrants are unable to vote illegally, and undocumented immigrants are not eligible for federally funded compensation, like Medicaid. Some have characterized this video as satire, mocking and trolling.

“Whether it’s satirical or not, it’s still racist,” said Peter Roge, director of the Ethics Project for Political Communications at George Washington University. He explained how it uses Mexican stereotypes in hats and music, falsely equating all Mexicans with undocumented immigrants, and falsely equating black and Latino voters’ intelligence.

“The President of the United States is responsible for increasing confidence in democratic systems and for bringing together the American people,” Roge said. “No one should share that video. Certainly not just the small political foundation that supports him, but the US president who represents all Americans.”

“Anyone who pretends to be angry about the perfect meme should focus on countless Americans suffering as a result of the Democratic closure,” White House spokesman Abigail Jackson told USA Today in a statement.

Jeffries redirects to Epstein, Healthcare Fundraising Fight

Jeffries and House Democrats held a press conference on September 30 to highlight efforts to fight for medical demands as the threat of government shutdowns looms.

“President, next time you want to say anything about me, don’t be wary of racist, fake AI videos. When I return to my oval office, say it in my face,” Jeffries said at the U.S. Capitol Step. He blamed Republicans for not negotiating to fund the government.

Jeffries also hit Trump on social media shortly after the AI video went up, pointing to the ongoing controversy over Trump’s relationship with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

“If you think shutdowns are a joke, it’s just to prove that we all know. You can’t negotiate. You can only throw tantrums,” Schumer posted on September 29th when sharing Trump’s AI video.

Schumer also called the 10-year-old trolling the internet by speaking out on the Senate floor.

The US heads to shut down government on October 1st

Government funds expired in the middle of the night on September 30th, and there appears to be an unlikely contract breakthrough.

“There was a frank and direct discussion with the US president and the Republican leader,” Jeffries said after meeting with the president on September 29th, “there remains of significant and meaningful differences.”

Republicans want a stop-gap solution that will expand funding until November 21st, and Democrats are calling for changes to access and subsidies as part of the deal. Both sides are trying to condemn each other’s potential shutdowns.

Without funding, staffing for many federal agencies will be significantly reduced and federal services (except those deemed “essential”) will be suspended.

Hurricane Hambert, Imelda forecast warns of impacts in line with east costs

0

The interaction of the system helped to move Imelda away from the East Coast, but two hurricanes still eliminate coastal dangers.

play

Although both storms are at the heart of offshore, many hurricanes will bring dangerous situations in early October on beaches along the East Coast, forecasters said they believe they will help lead rare scientific phenomena to the worst of the ocean.

“The swells produced by Hurricane Imelda and Hurricane Humbel have affected the Bahamas and are now spreading across much of the US East Coast,” the National Hurricane Center warned on the morning of September 30th.

According to the American Lifesaving Association, RIP currents are a fatal danger on beaches nationwide, with as many as 100 deaths reported per year.

Additionally, rain from the outer bands of Imelda could lead to flash floods in some Carolina. Florida is also able to flood several storm surges, according to the Hurricane Center.

Bermuda is also in the fire line from the storm.

Why didn’t Imelda attack the United States? Is that the effect of Fuji?

The high-pressure building in the northeastern region blocks the northbound roads of Hurricane Imelda this week, senior Accuweather meteorologist Alex Sosnowski said in an online forecast. “Instead of a storm that tracks southeastern states inland, as originally feared, Major Hurricane Humbel, who tracks western Bermuda, will give Imelda a tag and help him move it away from the US mid-week.”

“This is when the unusual Fuji effect helps pilot Imelda from the US,” said Alex Dasilva, Acuweather’s lead hurricane expert.

The Fujiwhara effect is the interaction between two tropical systems, both of which are spinning TeaCup Amusement Park Ride and Ballroom Dancers dancing together in unison.

“For a while, Humbel and Imelda may be about 500 miles apart, but they may be close enough to some degree of interaction between the two,” Dasilva said.

Where are Hurricanes Imelda and Hambel?

Both hurricanes are located in the Atlantic Ocean and are away from the United States. As of 11am on September 30th, the centre of Humbel was located 300 miles west of Bermuda. The largest sustained wind was 80 mph, moving north-northwest at 18 mph.

As of 8am on September 30th, the centre of Imelda was located about 755 miles west and southwest of Bermuda. The Maxium lasted 75 mph winds and moved northeast at 7 mph.

Will Bermuda hit from either storm?

Humbel is predicted to hit Bermuda, but it is Imelda who will directly track the small island nation.

First, on September 30th, Bermuda will be affected by eerie rain, gusts of wind and rough seas due to the size of the Humbert, despite the hurricane passing more than 100 miles west and north.

Just a day later, Imelda will cruise in wind-blown rain, floods and thrilling waters starting Wednesday, Accuweather said.

A Hurricane Warning was issued in Bermuda on September 30th.

A herd of tropical activity affects the benefits of small crafts, cruises and transportation across the island for several days, Accuweather said.

What’s next?

“We should breathe after Imelda dissipates later this week,” Houston meteorologist Matt Lanza said on September 30th in his Subsack the Iwal.

“Next, we’ll focus on the next thing that may or may not be in the Caribbean. The ‘noise’ in the model goes a little late, but there’s no real signal left. Good news for now,” Lanza said.

Tesla’s autonomous driving system could miss railroad intersections, the senator warns

0

play

Two U.S. senators urged motor vehicle safety regulators on Monday to investigate reported failures in Tesla’s fully automated driving system to detect and respond safely, citing the risk of a “catastrophic” collision.

Tesla on its website allows the system to drive residents “almost anywhere” and handle everything from route navigation to lane changes, steering and parking, but requires supervision by a human driver.

Democrats Ed Markey and Richard Blumental said the number of reported nearby collisions is on the rise in the request for an investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

“Miscalculations at train intersections can lead to catastrophic, multi-farming conflicts involving carriage residents, train passengers and railroad workers,” the senator wrote in a letter open to the public.

The impact of such errors far outweighs dangerous mistakes, such as missing traffic signs or changing illegal lanes.

Tesla Tsla.o did not respond to requests for comment.

In a statement, the regulators said they had received the letter and were gathering information about such cases.

The Tesla system provides support for drivers in steering, braking and acceleration control in certain situations, but added that drivers must always maintain operational control.

Tesla’s fully automated driving system is ahead of its autopilot system and is already under investigation by the NHTSA.

In October 2024, the agency began investigating 2.4 million Tesla vehicles equipped with FSDs after reporting four collisions under reduced road visibility conditions, including sun glare, fog and air dust, including the fatal 2023 crash.

The senator urged the NHTSA to consider curbs regarding the use of Tesla’s system.

“Admins need to consider clear and obvious actions to protect the public, such as limiting Tesla’s FSD to roads and weather conditions designed to be designed,” they said.

Other vehicle features on Telsa are also under scrutiny from agents.

In January, it began investigating 2.6 million Tesla vehicles on crash reports, including the ability for users to move their cars remotely.

The NHTSA also launched Tesla’s autonomous robotaxixis deployment in Austin, Texas in June, and in an email on July 1st, they wanted to know if Tesla employees could drive vehicles remotely.

Hegseth announces reforms to Pentagon grooming and fitness standards

0

The Pentagon will reform its fitness and grooming standards alongside Defense Secretary Fitter Hegses’ vision and a vision for a clean, shaved military, according to policy documents published online.

Hegses, who prefers the second-degree title of war chief, announced his move in his September 30 policy speech to the assembled general and admiral in an auditorium at Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia. He denounced the “fat general” when announcing the policy changes.

According to policy notes, fitness tests increase the frequency and intensity of active duty forces that currently have to pass double the test per year. Military men also measure body fat twice a year.

Forces with combat-centric employment, such as infantry and tank crews, must meet male-based testing criteria on the annual general fitness test and must complete the “combat field test” once a year.

Heggs, who has long claimed that women benefited from lowering fitness standards when they took up combat weapons jobs during the former Barack Obama administration, said the move “doesn’t prevent women from serving.”

The war secretary also accused the military of allowing medical or religious exemptions to increase their beards and labeling such military personnel as “Biados.”

Implementation notes specify that the Pentagon will “return to pre-2020 standards” for medical shaving exemptions. This means that the troops will no longer be able to receive a permanent shaving exemption to prevent a relapse of the skin condition of pseudogonadenitis.

Cassie speaks to Ex Diddy in a new letter ahead of the verdict

Casandra “Cassie” Ventura Fine testified against his former boyfriend Sean “Diddy Combs) in his groundbreaking federal sex crimes trial, opposes the potential release of the music mogul from prison ahead of his sentence hearing.

In a letter to District Court Judge Arun Subramanian, filed Tuesday, September 30, Ventura Fine opened up about the psychological sacrifice of her decades-old relationship with the dishonest rapper and shared concerns about Combs’ custody situation.

According to court documents obtained by USA Today, Ventura Fine said, “I still have nightmares and flashbacks on a daily basis,” Ventura Fine wrote. “It’s my concern that Sean Combs and his peers are following me and that my family is my reality.”

Ventura Fine revealed that she has maintained a low profile since Combs’ trial, which ended in July and saw the Grammy-winning rapper being convicted of two modes of transportation to engage in prostitution, but received a split verdict in which she was found guilty of more serious charges of assault and sex trafficking. The former R&B star added that she and her family also moved out of the New York area as a safety precaution.

“I’m very scared, so if he walks freely, his first action would be quick retaliation against me and others who spoke about his abuse at trial,” Ventura Fein continued. “As much as I did by recovering from his abuse, I am extremely afraid of what he can do and the malice he is definitely heading towards me because he has the courage to tell the truth.”

Ventura Fine, who met Combs at the age of 19 as an aspiring singer, testified at Combs’ months of federal trials, stripping off the curtains on years of physical and sexual abuse allegations. Her bomb testimony comes nearly two years after Ventura Fine filed a civil lawsuit against Combs in November 2023. The pair settled in a 24-hour, $20 million settlement.

Combs, which is expected to be sentenced to prison on Friday, October 3, is currently in custody at a metropolitan detention center in Brooklyn after repeated attempts to release bail.

Ventura Fine’s statement to Combs has written letters of support to Subra Manians demanding “generosity” in the hip-hop mogul ruling.

Cathy tells her thoughts of suicide, a healing journey after Diddy’s abuse

In a September 30 letter to Judge Subramanian, Ventura Fine rehashed repeated abuses allegedly suffered in the hands of a comb, including having numerous sexual acts with male sex workers, and carrying out physical and substance abuse disastrously.

“The trial lawyers suggested that my time with Combs resembles a “great modern love story,” but I cannot leave it far from the truth,” Ventura Fein wrote. “There’s no great, modern or affection for this story. It’s been a terrible decade of my life, stained with abuse, violence, coercion and degradation.”

The “Me&U” diva added that the mental health effects of Combs’ abuse drove her to the idea of suicide, and that “my family intervention and I want professional care” allowed her to navigate the pain. Ventura Fine is married to personal trainer Alex Fine. The couple shares three children.

“I went to rehabilitation and participated in dozens of different therapies to confront, distinguish and deal with the horrifying memories of sexual and emotional abuse I had endured for nearly a decade,” concluded Ventura Fein. “While what he did to me is always present, I am slowly learning how to live my life freely from the fear and fear I endured, and in doing so I am completely devoted to my husband and my children.”

Cathy claims Diddy is not a “unusual man” after the trial

Ventura Fine has hopes for her future, but she cannot say the same thing about her ex, comb.

“His defense attorney claims he is a strange man and he wants to mentor his abusers. I know first hand what real mentorship means. This hates me. He’s not true.”

“I know who he is to me, the manipulator, the attacker, the abuser, the trafficker – that he is a human,” she continued. “He’s not interested in changing or getting better. He’ll always be the same cruel, power-hungry, manipulative guy he’s always there.”

Ventura Fine also criticized Combs for admitting physical abuse in 2016 by admitting his physical abuse after leaking surveillance footage showing him attacking Ventura at a Los Angeles area hotel.

“When I filed my allegations in my civil case, he denied them over and over again,” Ventura Fein said. “It was only after the actual video footage was released on the internet for the exact words of my civil complaints, and thanks to the footage and my testimony, this is something he is forever related.”

Cathy asks the judge to consider Diddy’s “abuse and control” history ahead of the verdict

The pursuit of justice was a sacrificed to the Ventura fine.

“For nine months in May, during my four days in pregnancy with my son, I testified before a packed courtroom about the most traumatic and horrifying chapters of my life,” Ventura Fine wrote in a September 30 letter. “From the age of 19, I have testified that Sean Combs has locked me up after over a decade of abuse, using violence, threats, substances and control over my career.”

She added: “I re-exposed in detail the events and truths explained throughout the trial, and this letter causes me to experience incredible emotional pain.

Ventura Fine’s testimony during Combs’ trials was often very emotional, with the singers breaking in tears and she recalled saying she was suffering from a relationship with the founder of the bad boy’s record. Just as Subramanians contemplating Combs’s decision, Ventura Fine asked a New York judge to consider “the many lives Sean Combs overturned with his abuse and control.”

“For over a decade, Sean Combs made me feel helpless and unimportant, but my experience was authentic, frightening and worthy of consideration,” concluded Ventura Fein. “The ju judge did not seem to understand that I was engaged in the freak off due to the forces and coercion used by the defendant against me, but I think that is true and his sentence should reflect the evidence as a victim and the reality of my living experience.”

When will payments be released on Amazon Settlement? What we know.

0

play

Amazon customers who are eligible to receive a portion of the $2.5 billion settlement with the Federal Trade Commission will be paid immediately.

The retail giant agreed to a settlement to resolve the antitrust law filed by the FTC in 2023. Federal officials allegedly forced millions of consumers to sign up for Prime subscriptions, making it extremely difficult to cancel those contracts.

The FTC announced the settlement on September 25th, officials dubbed “historic.” Amazon has agreed to make some changes to its website, despite denial of fraud.

In a statement, the company said it was “always following the law.”

“We are working very hard to make it clear and simple that our customers sign up or cancel key memberships and provide significant value to millions of loyal key members around the world,” the statement added. “We continue to do so and look forward to what we have to offer to Prime members over the next few years.”

Here’s what you need to know about timing of payments.

Who is eligible to be paid from Amazon’s settlement?

To qualify for settlement payments, Amazon customers must be signed up for Prime between June 23, 2019 and June 23, 2025, according to a court order.

Customers are only eligible for payment if they no longer attempt to cancel their Prime subscription or if they sign up for Prime through what the document is called the “challenged registration flow.”

“Challenged” flow means subscriptions launched from a specific page on Amazon’s website, such as “Universal Prime Decision Page, Shipping Options Selection Page, Prime Video Registration Flow, or Single Page Checkout.”

Do I need to file a claim in an Amazon settlement?

Amazon Settlements have two stages of payment.

  • Auto-payment: Your initial payment will be distributed through automated payments. This means that customers do not need to file claims.
    • Who is eligible: Only Amazon customers who have used the benefits of less than three times in the 12 months of registration will receive automatic payments.
  • File your claim: Under the second wave, customers must submit claims to receive payments.
    • Who is eligible: Only Amazon customers who have used the benefits of less than 10 times in the 12 months of registration will receive payments during this phase.

When will Amazon send payments for the settlement?

Amazon confirmed to USA Today that eligible customers receive financial rewards rather than Amazon credits or gift cards. Payments will be processed by a third-party billing administrator.

According to Amazon, this is your payment timeline.

  • Customers eligible for automatic payments will receive them by December 24th, 2025.
  • Third-party billing administrators will submit information on how to make a claim by January 23, 2026.
  • Eligible claimants must submit the form until July 23, 2026.

How much money can eligible customers earn from Amazon Settlement?

The amounts that each customer earns from the settlement are based on the total amount of Amazon Prime membership fees paid during the term of the subscription.

However, according to court orders, the amount will be the maximum at $51 per customer.

Tyreek Hill injury update, how long dolphin WR is in the knee

0

play

Apparently, the horrifying knee injury to Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was just as bad as it looked.

The team confirmed Monday night that Hill dislocated the joint after being injured in the 27-21 victory over the New York Jets, the first Miami of the 2025 season. On Tuesday morning, ESPN and the NFL Network also reported that Hill suffered multiple ligament lacerations, including his ACL.

Hill is scheduled to undergo surgery on Tuesday.

The eighth Pro Bowler fell on the heap after being tackled on the sidelines, and soon the Jets trainers were in the trend as Miami medical staff raced over the field. ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” camera shows Hill’s left knee is distorted at an unusual angle as he exhausted the boundary with a hit early in the third quarter. Hill was eventually loaded into a medical cart and, perhaps strangely, to an ambulance before being taken to a local hospital, smiling and laughing as he admitted the crowd with a bright gesture.

The coach and teammates found inspiration in Hill’s post-damage attitude.

“He was probably in the best spirit of any such horrifying experience I’ve ever seen (has),” Miami head coach Mike McDaniel said following the victory. “He immediately had wide eyes and said, ‘I’m fine, make sure everyone gets this victory.’ He was focused on the team. ”

However, his former teammate posted on social media after talking to Hill that his smile was a mechanism to hide his incredible physical pain.

“I just received a FaceTime Call from my brother @cheetah (Hill)” I recently retired from the Terron Armstead tackle posted on X.

“The first thing he said: ‘The man is happy just because we got that victory’ he was fine, and he told me not to faint!!’

Hill’s season now falls to a premature end after another turbulent flow in his volatile career. He was dealing with accusations of domestic abuse from his estranged wife when he returned to the good bounty of his team after resigning them publicly during the regular season finale of the 2024 campaign. He was not voted for the team’s captain this year, and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said during training camp that Hill is still needed to regain his team’s trust.

Hill was in his middle and appeared to be playing well throughout four games, including six catches for 67 yards before falling over by the Jets. He was also openly cheerful despite Dolphins’ 0-3 start.

“We talked a lot about everything Tyreek has done this offseason, and his connections with his teammates have led the way for the most part, and he harnessed that connectivity to make sure his team is finishing on the far right.”

“He was inspired by such circumstances, and I think his teammates benefited from it.”

How much is Tyreek Hill?

All injuries are unique to those suffering from them, but tears in the ACL are usually a season-ending retreat. The same goes for a dislocated knee, but Hill’s situation seems even more complicated if he actually tore multiple knee ligaments. He was able to take the tough challenge to be ready to play by the first day of 2026.

Tyreek Hill contract

Hill, 31, is in his second year of a three-year, $90 million extension with Miami. But he is on a schedule of making $36 million in 2026, the final season of his agreement, where his base salary surges to $29.9 million. He will be an obvious candidate for restructuring or release during the 2026 offseason given both his injury circumstances and his contractual structure.

Car repairs are becoming more expensive in 2025. This is the reason

0

Your next trip to the mechanic may hit your wallet harder than you prepare.

play

  • Several industry factors have led to the rise in the costs of car repairs in the United States.
  • Soon, the cost of buying a second-hand and new car could skyrocket because of some of the same factors.

According to CNN, car repair costs are up 15% year-on-year.

In 2025, auto buyers face extreme market uncertainty due to car imports and some tariffs. The prices of new vehicles are not yet severely affected, but repair costs for the vehicles are increasing.

Customs duties are not the only reason why repairs are more expensive. Here are some reasons why you will face extreme sticker shocks during your next trip to the mechanic:

Why car repairs are becoming more expensive in 2025

The perfect storm is to jack up the cost of repairing your car. One factor is that drivers maintain their vehicle’s average age on the road for a long time. Other factors include more complex vehicle systems due to technological advancements and a lack of qualified engineers.

In short, American drivers have been keeping their vehicles longer thanks to new car prices. Additionally, the inclusion of more sophisticated systems makes new vehicles difficult to modify and require skilled technicians.

Aside from old cars on the roads, a lack of engineers and advanced vehicle technology, there are tariffs, which are another major factor that increases repair costs for American car owners. Customs duties increase the cost of repairs as imported parts are more expensive. More expensive replacement parts made abroad increase repair costs, so even drivers who have not purchased the vehicle will not be spared from the effects of tariffs.

How tariffs will affect the automotive industry in 2025

Ford estimates that $3 billion in tariffs have been hit in 2025, Reuters said. According to Motortrend, customs duties will raise Volkswagen’s prices on some models by up to 7%.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cdnryfdec4

Automotive Tarif costs billions of dollars from the world’s largest automaker. These costs are beginning to be fooled by consumers as the year ends. While many automakers have successfully protected consumers from the effects of tariffs, not many companies can withstand before they raise new car prices.

Should I get a new car before the price increases?

According to the Kelley Blue Book, new car prices rose 2.6% from July to August. Prices have been relatively stable over the last few months, but there are signs of a major move in the future.

Getting a new car now will help you dodge the higher departure prices caused by future tariffs, but there are a few things to consider before jumping on a new car deal. First, new vehicles could lose 20% of their value in the first year of ownership. Car insurance and registration costs for new vehicles are usually higher.

Depreciation gently uses a car that is used more gently than a new one for many drivers. That being said, if you’re looking for a new car deal in 2025, there are still plenty of promotions and incentives. Bestselling nameplates like the Toyota RAV4 ($29,800) and the Ford F-150 ($38,810) remain relatively affordable. In fact, Ford’s pro-American campaign has led the carmaker to raise incredible sales despite tariffs.

In 2026, repairing your car and buying a second-hand or new one, or buying a new one, says the future of trade over the next few years is bleak, and average tariffs could continue to increase by 2028.

Who is Mahama? They are RFK Jr.

After years of feeling Gaslit and rejection, we make America health again activists and see their beliefs being promoted in the White House.

play

After years of feeling marginalized by their views, sometimes challenged by scientists, the mother of Make America Healthy Movement – the so-called Maha Moms – is excited to see many of their beliefs being promoted at the highest level of government.

At an event on September 22, when President Donald Trump and Secretary of Health and Human Services President Robert F. Kennedy Jr. discussed the link between Tylenol use in pregnancy and the onset of autism or attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, the man looked back on the podium to two Mahamas and encouraged people to listen to women.

According to Claire Dooley of Washington, DC, Maha Mama feels she’s been in the conversation for the first time, according to Claire Dooley of Washington, DC, a second-generation advocate who is skeptical of vaccines.

“There’s an entire group of people who have felt alienated for a very long time. Now they don’t feel that way anymore. I think it’s like a way for us to step into the future,” Dooley said.

Vaccines are an important issue for Mahama

The Maha movement brings together supporters of independent health care and parental rights. Some moms want a more organic lifestyle, and others feel distrustful of pharmaceutical companies. There are groups backed by donations from grassroots advocacy groups, private funders, Facebook groups and nonprofits like Kennedy’s previous project, Children’s Health Defense.

“I think a lot of the people in Maha are coming from the left who feel alienated,” Dooley said. “So there are people who are listening to us, and we’re like, ‘OK, the right is listening to us, let’s do that.”

One important theme of the Maha movement is the idea that vaccines cause autism. Scientists have exposed all sorts of relationships for decades. The 1998 study that popularized the myth was withdrawn 15 years ago, and British medical journals called it “elaborate scams.” However, many moms support their vision and continue to search for answers.

Dooley, 26, is a filmmaker who will be joining the committee of Maha Action, a group founded with some of Kennedy’s former presidential election staff in December, and is run by well-known anti-vaccinated film producers. She comes to know about moms who say their children were seriously injured by the vaccine. She says no one should oppose trying to make the vaccine as safe as possible.

Her mother, 50-year-old Merisha Dooley of Mississippi and six self-explained “crunchy” moms, tried to the nation to help Congress expel children from the vaccine for religious reasons. The federal judge issued the exemption in 2023 in response to a lawsuit from his parents.

“It all comes down to parental rights,” said Merisha Dooley, whose children are between the ages of 12 and 30.

Merisha Dooley says she wants to see Kennedy take on “corporate capture” in American healthcare. Specifically, she hopes he will help him repeal the 1986 law that protected doctors and pharmaceutical companies from vaccine liability and established an arbitration system for people to argue about vaccine injuries.

Congress passed its law and stopped making vaccines for diphtheria, whooping cough and tetanus because pharmaceutical companies faced so many responsibilities, but that’s controversial. “If I’m going to put something on my body, someone needs to stand behind it,” Merisha Dooley said of the pharmaceutical company.

Kennedy posted on Facebook hours after the event on September 22nd, highlighting his comments that a significant portion of mothers of children with autism believe their child has been injured by the vaccine. He said the administration is “examined” the vaccine and criticised the scientific community for not doing enough in the past.

Kennedy previously overhauled major vaccine panels and added new members who are skeptical of the vaccine. The panel voted against recommending the vaccine with the preservative thimerosal. This has long been a target for anti-vaccine advocates and encourages more conversations between patients and their doctors about vaccine risks.

Claire Dooley said she was working with Kennedy and seeing him do his job and trusted him in his intentions. “I’m going to do everything he can in his position,” Claire Dooley said of Kennedy. “But he can’t come out again and say, ‘The vaccines are causing autism, and let’s take them all away.” ”

Using Tylenol during pregnancy

Alana Newman, the 39-year-old mother of three who lives in Dallas, said a September 22 press conference with Kennedy, Trump and other health officials helped her not feel “gaslit” anymore. Authorities discussed the potential link between Tylenol use during pregnancy and a diagnosis of autism or ADHD, but Trump unscripted and made unfounded claims.

“It was comforting that Trump actually cared about his mother’s perspective and brought his two mothers to the podium,” Newman said. “I’m so tired of people who say, ‘Alana’s not a doctor’ and basically call me stupid. ”

Public health experts, scientists, doctors and Tylenol makers have pushed back all claims made at the press conference. Two dozen studies have found a link, but others disprove the link, so there are no resolved discoveries in the scientific community that acetaminophen causes autism or ADHD.

Dr. Mehmet Oz, director of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said in a September 24 call that he had not claimed causality in the MAHA action. “What we know is that people taking a significant amount of acetaminophen appear to be at a higher risk of having autistic children,” he said.

“The government may notice something about what will happen historically, but they’re not 100% sure, 95% seem to be sure. So there’s a lot of criticism that happens if you’re not 100% sure, so they’ll keep it,” he said. “This administration is clearly different.”

Dr. Andrea Bacarelli, a professor and dean at Harvard University, is the dean of the study, and in a statement said in a statement that the risk of developing neurodevelopmental disorders after prenatal use of Tylenol is most pronounced when used by anticipated mothers for more than four weeks. He said animal studies support causality.

Baccarelli calls acetaminophen a “important tool” as it is the only approved drug for pain relief and fever during pregnancy. Ibuprofen and full-dose aspirin are not recommended for late pregnancy. Therefore, he said he and his colleagues recommend a “balanced approach” to take the lowest possible dose in the shortest possible period after consultation with the doctor.

Stephanie Carmody, 50, a podcaster from Glastonbury, Connecticut who helps raise the 8-year-old nie, said the Tylenol announcement was “a big step in the right direction.” She praised Kennedy for taking her to a large pharmaceutical company and spoke about her own silence to take over-the-counter medication.

“I don’t think most people are aware of the simplest things like acetaminophen, the damage that most people can do,” Carmody said. “So I think it’s a step in the right direction, because what I’m about to see is going to see the floodgates open.”

Some Mahamamas are targeting the food system

A general pediatrician from Charlotte, North Carolina, and from moms to three children, Dr. Anna Maria Temple said he likes Kennedy swings things around. She said she treats conditions such as eczema, neurological inflammation and autism based on nutrition rather than medication.

Temple said many doctors working in hospital-based practices can only get 10 minutes on patients at a time, making them insufficient for nutritional lifestyle interventions. She said the medication is faster for doctors and many patients want a quick fix.

“I like it (since) RFK came out, he said, “Wait, what are we doing? Why are so many kids sick?” “The only thing you can hear in the traditional model is, ‘Well, that’s exactly what we have. We have the medicine for that.” ”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that two in five children have at least one chronic health condition, including asthma, obesity, behavioral problems, and learning difficulties.

Vani Hari, a 46-year-old mother of two from Charlotte, North Carolina, has been advocating for the removal of chemicals in processed foods for over a decade. She is pleased with Kennedy’s defense of removing certain additives from her food.

For example, in 2013, she launched a Change.org petition against Kraft, removing the artificial food dyes yellow 5 and yellow 6 from macaroni and cheese products. According to CNN, the company removed the dye from the box containing SpongeBob squares and Halloween-shaped pasta. She also convinced Chick-fil-A to switch to antibiotic-free chicken in 2014.

“It’s been only a few months since he took office, and he’s already convinced that more than half of the food industry will start removing artificial food dyes,” Hari said. “He is being asked to update his review of nutrition guidelines for infant prescriptions.

“He also highlights how the healthcare industry system is failing the American public. We spend more on healthcare than any other country, and we have the worst health outcomes.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are separated, the report said. Why do we care?

0

play

Heartbreak in Hollywood is everywhere.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban split after 19 years of marriage. The first person to share the news and TMZ reported on September 29 that 57-year-old Urban and Kidman, 58, were separated. USA Today reached out to both Kidman and Urban representatives for comment. The couple first met in Los Angeles 20 years ago and married a year later on June 25th, 2006 near Sydney, Australia.

The internet is frenzy. Some fans have dissected who will be responsible and who will earn money in such a high-profile divorce. Others have already thought that Kidman would date next, and many are simply uneasy and sad. One Tiktok creator argued that 19-year marriage should not be considered a failure, but a success in today’s society.

“Let them live,” says the Creator. “I’m more interested in her next AMC commercial than this.”

Whatever the hot take, you can’t look away. That’s because we love to monitor the highs and lows of celebrities, experts say.

And speculation about Kidman and Urban’s breakup speaks about us much more than we realize.

Tell yourself

We are all familiar with dotting the look of the Urban and Kidman red carpet. The couple is renowned for supporting each other, from Hollywood acclaim to cross-country music tours.

But experts say it’s behind a public kiss, and famous celebrities manage carefully curated images. Just in June, the “Dutch” actress shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself embracing Urban for the 19th anniversary of her wedding, simply captioning an Instagram post. Such a sudden shift reminds us that despite our best intentions, we never truly know what is going on behind the song or screen.

And now, it’s even more difficult for Urban and Kidman to control the story now than ever before.

This is because fans feel they know celebrities, they are called parasocial relationships and are already determining their own truth. Whatever is said or not said by a couple, the Internet fills the gap with its own theory. Aside from Instagram posts, we decided what happened.

“We identify with that.”

Another reason we respond is that we have to do with our daughters’ parents, Urban and Kidman, Rose on Sunday, 17, and Margaret on Faith, 14. Whether we are our own parents or whether our parents become separate or not, experiences are struck by chords.

“The reason we keep opening and clicking on updates… because we can all identify it,” Robert Thompson, director of Briar TV Center and Popular Culture at Syracuse University, previously told USA Today. “It’s part of the amazing lifestyle we can actually get into.”

But seeing A-list couples fall apart, they are given green light for downward comparisons, and they feel better about themselves by grabbing the drama, West Virginia University’s professor of communication studies, Elizabeth Cohen previously told USA Today.

Either way, if you catch yourself with an emotional uplift, it may be an indicator to pause the scrolling. It may be time to write your own story on behalf of others.

Donald Trump responds to Hamas deadline to Gaza Peace Plan

0

Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a proposal to end the Gaza conflict at a White House event on September 29th.

play

President Donald Trump said Hamas had “about three to four days” to respond to his peace plan to end the war in Gaza, warning that “it would be a very sad end” if they refused to trade.

Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced their peace plans at the White House event on September 29th.

The two leaders proposed the announcement as a major breakthrough in the conflict, where previous ceasefires plunged and regional tensions surged as Israel continues its punishment campaign that sparked international outrage over the deaths of civilians and humanitarian conditions in Gaza.

“We’re just waiting for Hamas. Hamas, whether or not, it’s going to be a very sad ending if it doesn’t,” Trump told the White House on September 30.

The president added that there are “not many” rooms to negotiate.

Hamas said on September 29th that he had not received the plan.

Under Trump’s proposal, the war ended and Hamas was released within 72 hours of the remaining hostages in Gaza, filmed almost two years ago during the terrorist attacks on Israel.

Gaza has also been redeveloped and is chosen by Palestinians who want to stay for Palestinians to stay. Hamas fighters will get pardon and the territory will come under temporary governance by a new Palestinian commission, which will be overseen by the “Committee of Peace.” Trump personally chaired the panel along with other foreign leaders, including former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

If Hamas refuses to trade, Trump said Israel has “full support for us” to continue its military operations in Gaza.

Trump last week presented his plan to the Arab leaders privately and to pressure the increasingly isolated Israel to end the war that began when Hamas militants attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages.

Since then, Israel has leveled out the large strip of Gaza. An estimated 66,000 Palestinians have been killed, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health. The dire situation in Gaza has sparked international rebellion, urging several Western countries to rebel against the US and Israel and recognize the Palestinian state.

How the fatal Mormon Church shooting unfolded in Michigan

0

At least four people were killed and eight others were injured in an attack, including shooting and arson at a Mormon Church in Grand Blanctown, Michigan on Sunday.

The suspect, identified as Thomas Jacob Sanford, 40, a Marine Corps veteran from Burton, Michigan, was killed by police in a church parking lot, authorities said.

Sanford plunged the bank’s GMC pickup truck into the front of the Latter-day Saints’ Church of Jesus Christ. He fired with weapons and started a devastating fire within the church using gasoline.

The FBI, which is leading the investigation, treats shootings as “targeted acts of violence.”

This is what we know about attacks. It’s always an approximate estimate.

The suspect in the church shooting lived nearby. Burton

10am: Church services begin with hundreds of congregations attended.

10:25am: Investigators later identified a silver GMC pickup truck embracing the silver GMC pickup truck on the wall of a church building, as the Sanford Rams. He leaves the vehicle and fires “several rounds” with the assemblyman with an attack-style rifle, then uses gasoline to fire at the church.

10:26am: The first responder will arrive within 1 minute. Church members flee the building in panic and protect some of their children.

10:33am: Sanford leaves the church after a fire. He is killed in a brief shootout with two officers at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Grand Blanctownship Police Station in the rear parking lot of the church.

12:43pm: Grand Blanc police report a church fire is being contained.

Police said at a press conference on the morning of September 29th that all congregations were being explained. Those treated at Henry Ford Genesis Hospital ranged from 6 to 78 years of age.

“We are considering improvised explosive devices recovered during the investigation,” said James Deir, a special agent responsible for the Detroit Field offices of the Alcohol Department, cigarettes, firearms and explosives. The church was severely damaged by the fire.

The motivation has not been determined. A Burton City Council candidate who campaigned at Sanford’s door told the Detroit Free Press that Sanford had gone to Tillard to the church and told the Mormons were “antichrist.”

The US Marines confirmed that Sanford served in the Marines between 2004 and 2008. He held the rank of Sergeant and worked as an organization’s auto mechanic and vehicle recovery operator, USA Today reported.

Sanford was deployed at Iraq’s freedom, operating for just six months in early 2008. He was awarded the Marine Corps Good Deeds Medal, the SEA Service Deployment Ribbon, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Bureau of Terrorism’s Earth War Medal, and the National Defense Services Medal.

Grand Blanc Township is a town of 8,000 people near Flint, Michigan. According to the Guardian, the Mormon Church, which has around 150 members, is one of the largest members in the area.

How will government closures affect emails and post offices?

0

play

The US postal service will not be affected by the looming government closures that could begin on October 1st.

The parties’ parliamentary leaders have failed to enter into a contract to pass the funding law to avoid the closure.

If they have not reached an agreement, some of the government will be closed on October 1st, the first day of the US government in 2026.

The closure probably emerged after President Donald Trump and Congressional leaders emerged from the private White House meeting on Monday, September 29th without a deal. Republicans are pushing for makeshift solutions to expand current funding through November 21st, but Democrats continue to fight for changes related to healthcare.

With government closures, services deemed important will continue, while other non-essential functions will close or reduce staffing.

Are postal services and postal services affected by government closures?

Postal services, including postal delivery, will continue even if the government closes.

In a September 25th statement, the US Postal Service confirmed that its operations will not be interrupted by the shutdown, and the Post Office will remain open for “normal business.”

“Our services are not affected by government closures as we are an independent entity that is generally funded through the sale of products and services, not taxes,” the statement said.

What is a government closure?

For each fiscal year, Congress allocates funds for federal agencies to run.

However, if lawmakers do not agree to expenditure or temporary spending bills, some federal agencies will need to effectively shut down or suspend normal spending, according to the Human Resources Administration.

Some jobs or services are deemed essential and will continue to work in the event of a closure.

What important services will not be affected by government closures?

In addition to the post office, some federally operated agencies remain open in the event of government closures.

Social Security Services, Medicare and air traffic control are considered essential services, but “non-essential” work, such as national park operations, will be suspended.

How long will the government closure last?

Since 1977, there have been 21 federal closures. In total, they lasted 121 days, or an average of nearly eight days per shutdown.

The longest government shutdown in the last 50 years, lasting 35 days under the first Trump administration from December 2018 to January 2019, occurred.

The other two closures took place during Trump’s first term. The first in January 2018 lasted for three days, and the second lasted for several hours in February 2018.

Trump said “many” federal workers could be fired during the closure

0

The White House Business and Budget Office has asked federal agencies to play for the layoffs, in addition to Farrow, which was used in past closures.

play

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump told reporters that “a lot” of federal workers may be fired for the looming federal shutdown.

The White House Office of Management and Budget had asked agents to plan to fire workers rather than simply attack them, like in past closures. Trump denounced Democrats in the layoffs approaching midnight on September 30th.

“Well, we might do a lot, that’s just for Democrats,” Trump said.

Trump met with Congressional leaders on September 29th, but remained stuck. Trump has denounced the Democrats’ closure of health care for undocumented immigrants.

“They want to look after people who come illegally to our country, and there’s no system to handle that,” Trump said. “We’re totally against that.”

Republican leaders said the aim is to prevent undocumented immigrants from receiving federal health benefits and require 80 hours of work or volunteer services a month to receive benefits.

But Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer, D-New York, focused on expanding federal grants under Obamacare, which Republicans have long been trying to repeal.

“We see people not being able to get the health care they need, and Americans are screaming for some help,” Schumer said. “It’s our job as legislative leaders to try to solve this problem, or at least solve it.”

GLP-1 mixed at home is illegal and popular. It is called “Gray.”

Liz just wanted to lose weight for her baby.

Like many other mothers, the 33-year-old struggled to fit in postpartum clothes. She came up with a combined version of weight loss drugs like Ozempic, an online pharmacy, but it was blocked at the cost. She then came across a video of Tiktalker saying that they can make these expensive medicines cheaply at home. That was her introduction to the world of “Grey GLP-1.”

“I started in the spring,” she explains the drugs she prepares in her kitchen.

Liz asked to withhold his surname due to legal concerns surrounding the home-based mixing process, Liz is one of the American growing crops that acquires research-grade peptides and converts them to drugs like GLP-1 in Access Barrier, facing affordable and weight loss drugs like Ozempic. This process is casually called “Grey GLP-1” or “Grey”.

The popularity of “Grey” involves medical and legal experts. “Grey GLP-1” has not been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration, and purchasing research-grade peptides for human use is illegal at the state and federal level, according to Courtney Sullivan, an Arizona lawyer working in drug control. But “Gray” suppliers promise an attractive way to lose weight and feel better the less you feel.

“The market is wild right now, and these illegal distributors have their fists in hand,” Sullivan said. “There are no regulations, there is no enforcement, there is no safety check for these products.”

The FDA recently published updated guidance for compound GLP-1 drugs, but requires clearer action and enforcement on “gray.” “The only way to know you’re getting a legal and safe product is to source it from a state licensed manufacturer or a conpartment,” says Sullivan. “These are illegal drugs on the black market. Calling them too much simply conveys a sense of legitimacy that doesn’t exist.”

“Get a straw”

Affordable prices and access drive “Gray” said Sabina Hemmi, founder of GLP recipients, a consumer watchdog. Some microdose home preparations as a cost-effective maintenance regimen. Others use these mixes in restocking delays from name brands. Many people like Liz turn “gray.” Because their basis weight and medical history excludes them from insurance coverage.

“That would be $300-400 a month,” Liz said. She says spending around $100 on medication for more than 10 months is worth the risk.

Some Americans see the options disappear completely. Lindsay Landers, a Kentucky advanced practice nurse, stopped prescribing compound GLP-1 from licensed pharmacies after ceasing drug manufacturers in August 2025.

Landers continues to prescribe patients who can afford the brand name GLP-1, but some have been forced to make tough choices.

“There are patients who have lost up to 125 pounds and feel they’ve regained their lives,” Landers says. “(My patient) is aware of the straws and is about to buy these medications from accessible sources, including illegal internet providers. I am serving a small community with only 6 stoplights. Access to care is a very realistic concern.”

Why is “gray” the problem?

These illegal drugs pose medical risks, Sullivan says. Some “gray” products may be discontinued and leaving important health needs unresolved, while others may contain contaminants with dangerous, long-term effects.

“These patients are at risk when using these untested, illegal products,” Landers reflects.

Another concern is safe. “Gray” users navigate encrypted chats, listen to non-medical advice, and use obscure websites that disappear constantly, Hemmi says. Many of the vendors are foreigners and require payment in cryptocurrency.

Incorrect information is also ramped up. Sullivan takes the “study” label on peptides for granted.

“Research use is only good if it’s actually done in a research setting,” says Sullivan. “These companies are going to tell you that they will help solidify their legitimacy.”

Experts say more regulations are important for patient safety. When “gray” becomes mainstream, users fear crackdowns.

Especially for those who need GLP-1 for chronic health issues, Liz says he understands panic and hopes there are cheaper and more regulated options.

“It’s not the reality of America right now. You can buy something that you can afford $400 a month,” says Liz. “Why are there no affordable options?”

Currently available on the menu of fast food chains: 3-piece order, 4-piece order, 2 bids (prices vary by location): Your order comes with two new, improved choices of sauces: Wendy’s signature, sweet chili, Scochin hot, creamy ranch, honey barbecue and honey mustard. (Children’s meals come with one sauce. Additional sauce dip cups are available on any order for a small charge.)

The new dish, which is affectionately called “Wendy’s Tendes” on the company’s social media, is “a light, crispy, flavorful panding made using the finest quality ingredients, including 100% white meat,” Wendy’s interim CEO Kennesku said during a second quarter revenue call on August 8.

Regarding the “modernized and improved” sauce lineup, Cook said, “Our bids and sauces are amazing and I’m sure our customers love them too.”

Lindsay Radkoski, Chief Marketing Director at Wendy’s Company, told us what consumers want in their chicken bids. “With six bold new sauces, fans can dip, dunk and customize the tilt with each bite!”

Wendy’s tender chicken entry comes months after competitor McDonald’s expanded his chicken product with a Macrispie strip, which selected a sauce containing cream chili dip.

The fast food giant has escalated the chicken menu war over chicken wraps in recent months, including McDonald’s snack wraps matching Popeye, Sonic and Taco Bell. Wendy’s also have their own chicken wrap.

The second detainee shot and killed at a Dallas immigration and customs enforcement facility on September 24th, died of his injuries, according to a Latino civil rights group representing his family.

Miguel Angel Garcia Harnandez was stationed on a nearby rooftop on September 24th and was one of three detainees who were in danger at the hospital. He died after being taken from life support, the organization announced on September 30th. His wife previously identified him as Miguel Angel García Medina on USA Today.

“My husband, Miguel, was a good man, a loving father and a provider of our family,” his wife, Stephanie Gofeny, said in a statement provided by LeLac. “We just bought our first house together and he worked hard every day to make sure our kids had what they needed.”

Garcia, 31, leaves behind his wife and four children, taking fifth place along the way. Gauffeny previously told USA Today that her husband had earned ice custody following the DUI, but had plans to stay in the US and keep the family together.

“He was happy,” Gofeny said when he spoke to Garcia on the September 23rd call. He’ll go home.

Authorities identified 29-year-old Joshua Yarn as the suspect who climbed onto a nearby roof and fired a fire at an ice facility, and attacked detainees in a van at Surry Port before taking his own life. Federal officials said the suspect was targeting ICE agents.

Nolan Guzman Fuentes was also fatally shot in the attack, according to official records and Lelack.

Gofeny said that after her husband was shot, he was tied up and restrained in a hospital bed, his face was swollen and dried blood was lining his forehead on his face, neck and bed sheet. He was shot about eight times in the shoulder, stomach, tailbone and neck, causing a stroke.

“It was terrible for him to meet like that,” she told USA Today.

Eric Cedillo, national legal counsel for the United Latin American Citizens’ Federation, said Garcia was trying to gain permanent residency despite a violation of the DUI and was brought to the United States as a teenager from Mexico. Gauffeny, a US citizen, sponsored him for the first approved I-130 visa, Cedillo previously told USA Today.

“His death is a meaningless tragedy that shattered our family. We don’t know how to explain to our children that our father is gone,” Gofeny said in a statement provided by Lelack.
