Another couple has joined the ranks of Love Island USA winners.

Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff were revealed to have received the most votes from fans and were named the winners of Season 8 during the finale on Sunday, July 12th.

As confetti fell around Trinity and Bryce, runner-up couple Anya Harvey and Carl Schmidt celebrated their win as a fan-favorite couple.

Melanie Moreno and Cynthia Rea took third place, and Zach Georgiou and Keida Bosse took last place. Of course, the entire cast ended their stay at the Fiji villa by partaking in the annual tradition of jumping fully clothed into a little-used pool.

The big announcement ended nearly six weeks of divisive challenges, dramatic recouplings and endless “Corbyn GPT” memes and references to “French fries”.

When is the Love Island USA Season 8 reunion?

Not happy with how the final episode unfolded? The Season 8 reunion is set to arrive on Peacock in over a month, and fans can expect updates on what happened after the Islanders left the villa and where all the couples are now.

The reunion will be held on Monday, August 31st at 6pm PT/9pm ET.

What wins on ‘Love Island’?

Each year, the winning couple gets to share and take home a $100,000 prize pot.

Bryce and Trinity earned $50,000 each after taxes, making them the top-ranked American couple.

‘Love Island’ continues to be plagued by racism controversy in 2026

“Love Island USA” has weathered several controversies in recent years, including one that ended just before the season’s premiere in early June.

Vasana Montgomery, a 25-year-old business executive from Oregon, was removed from the starting cast days before the June 2 premiere after a video surfaced that appeared to show Montgomery using racial slurs while singing the song. This clip was released shortly after the cast was announced on May 28th.

Days later, Montgomery issued an apology on social media, acknowledging that the video had “hurt and upset people.”

A few weeks later, Alana Kaiser, a 21-year-old college student from Miami, was expelled on June 25, just days after making her debut as the Casa Amor bombshell. Shortly after her debut, videos and screenshots of Alana allegedly using racial slurs began circulating on social media. In a Snapchat video recording, she appeared to be singing along to a song using the word.

She addressed the circumstances surrounding her departure in a June 27 TikTok video, saying, “I want to say directly that I do not support racism or discrimination of any kind, and I have never supported it.” She added: “The video is six years old and those words are not in my vocabulary.”

Kaiser also said screenshots of messages in which she allegedly uses slurs are not real.
