Trump says Putin will respond to Ukraine’s attack after calling
President Donald Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin over an hour’s phone call.
WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump has issued a travel ban blocking foreigners from 12 countries from entering the country, partially restricting travel from foreigners from other seven countries.
In his June 4 declaration, Trump cited the “national security risks” posed by citizens of affected countries, including several Middle Eastern and African countries.
“The recent terrorist attacks in Boulder, Colorado highlighted the extreme dangers posed to our country by the entry of foreigners that were not properly vetted. And those who came here as temporary visitors to overstay visas said from the oval office in the videotape notes: “We don’t want them.”
The ban bans travel from foreigners from Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
Trump issued father’s travel halts for citizens from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela.
