President Trump speaks at Mount Rushmore before America’s 250th fireworks display
America’s 250th anniversary celebrations at Mount Rushmore ended with a fireworks display after President Donald Trump’s remarks.
President Donald Trump will help warm up the crowd ahead of a huge Fourth of July fireworks display in Washington.
Certainly, the crowd will be well warmed up, as temperatures in the nation’s capital are expected to reach 101 degrees on Saturday, July 4th. Regardless of the heat, President Trump promised earlier in the week that he would give a “very long speech just to show that I can do anything.”
President Trump’s Fourth of July speech came after a day-long “Salute America Celebration” organized by Freedom 250, a group formed under the president’s direction. The event begins at 1 p.m. ET and will feature high-flying flights and aerial demonstrations, as well as musical performances by the Joint Forces Orchestra and international speakers.
This is Trump’s second speech in recent days. The president spoke at Mount Rushmore on Friday, July 3, prior to the fireworks display.

According to Freedom 250, President Trump is scheduled to speak at approximately 9:45 p.m. ET, and Trump described the event as a “rally.”
They will then take part in the “World’s Largest Fireworks Show,” hosted by Freedom 250, scheduled to begin at 10:30 p.m. ET.
During the fireworks show, scheduled to last about 40 minutes, the organization plans to launch 850,000 fireworks from 10 locations around Washington, including the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, a barge on the Potomac River and West Potomac Park.

If you are unable to attend the speeches or Salute to America Celebration in person, you can watch the livestream. Freedom 250 will live stream the celebration, including President Trump’s speech and fireworks show, online at Freedom250.org and Freedom 250’s YouTube channel.
ABC News also plans to stream the speech on its website, and other network sites likely will do the same.
