Buc-ee’s, Texas’ flagship gas station and convenience store, plans to add three stores to its Beaver empire in 2026.
This sprawling gas station has developed a cult-like following around its unusually clean restrooms and above-average food. The company was founded in 1982 and quickly became one of the Lone Star State’s best-known export companies.
The company is taking a slow and steady approach to expansion. However, the first stores in Arizona and Ohio are scheduled to open next year. The contact page lists 17 facilities tentatively scheduled to open in 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2031.

Buc-ee stores open in 2026
The company has three stores scheduled to open in 2026. The company said in an email to USA TODAY that its stores are located at:
- Huber Heights, Ohio in April
- Goodyear, Arizona in June
- San Marcos, Texas in July
The Cincinnati Enquirer, part of the USA TODAY Network, reports that the suburban Cincinnati store will have 100 fueling stations, 24 electric vehicle charging stations and cover 74,000 square feet. Buc-ee media coordinator Chrissy Gonzalez told the Enquirer earlier this year that the expected opening date could change “due to unforeseen circumstances.”
The Arizona location will occupy 74,000 square feet of land in the western suburbs of Phoenix and will have 120 filling stations, the Arizona Republic, part of the USA TODAY network, reported.
