NEW YORK – It’s another day for anxious travelers to update their flight status to see if their flights are among the reduced flights due to the record federal government shutdown.

Nov. 8 (Reuters) – Forty airports across the U.S. face a second day of government-mandated flight cancellations, with Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warning that the cuts could be even wider. The inconvenience is expected to increase further in the coming days.
