FIFA World Cup halftime show performers announced
Global stars will headline the 2026 FIFA World Cup halftime show, with several notable performers taking to the stage during the ceremony.
BTS fans are in for a sweet treat.
The Korean boy band has teamed up with Oreo to launch new limited edition cookies made by RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung. The new treat is dedicated to BTS fans.
The hotteok-inspired brown sugar pancake-flavored cookies will be available for pre-sale at Oreo.com/UnwrapTheCollab starting June 1st, and will be available at retail stores nationwide starting June 8th. Oreo says the cookies are available for a limited time only, while supplies last.
Hotteok is a warm pancake stuffed with brown sugar that is popular at Korean street markets, and BTS said in a news release that they have “happy childhood memories of not only eating hotteok but also Oreo cookies.”
“We’re so honored that OREO is the first snack brand we collaborated with on a global scale. We ate it when we were kids, we ate it in the studio, and now OREO is helping us share the taste of home with the world,” BTS said in a news release. “We are very proud to be adding our own chapter to OREO’s incredible story.”
As the band celebrates its 13th anniversary, the cookies feature 13 unique embossments designed by BTS for fans, including each band member’s name, a BTS light stick, and three cookies that form a special message to BTS fans.
“At the heart of this partnership is a shared passion. We are bringing together BTS’ incredibly dedicated fan base and our own loyal OREO fans to create something truly new and exciting,” Matt Foley, Oreo’s vice president of marketing, said in a news release.
Fans can write digital letters to BTS
Starting June 8, fans can write playful digital letters to BTS by scanning the QR code on BTS Oreo packaging or by visiting us.OreoBTS.com.
“As letters pour in from all over the world, fans can read each other’s words to BTS as the biggest love letter prepares to materialize in the real world,” Oreo said in a news release.
Fans can keep posting letters for a chance to win exclusive prizes from the Oreo brand and BTS.
BTS wins Artist of the Year at 2026 AMA
On Monday, May 25, BTS won Artist of the Year at the 2026 American Music Awards. This is the second time they have won this award at the AMA, the first time being in 2021.
The popular group also performed “HOOLIGAN” and presented the award for Best Female R&B Artist to SZA.
