A squirrel was spotted taking a snack break on top of a trash can near a McDonald’s in Massachusetts.
McDonald’s is revamping its drink menu.
The fast food chain revealed on April 28 that it is adding a new lineup of six specialty drinks, including caffeinated soft drinks and dirty sodas.
McDonald’s previously confirmed to USA TODAY earlier this month that new drinks would be added, but this new announcement is the first glimpse of what’s to come.
“Our fans are obsessed with drinks. To them, drinks are more than just drinks. And soon, our drinks won’t just be a reason to come to McDonald’s, they’ll be a reason to come to McDonald’s.” of Here’s why,” McDonald’s Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Alyssa Buettikofer said in a statement.
Here’s what you need to know about the new drink.

When will McDonald’s release the soft drink Dirty Soda?
The new drink will go on sale at McDonald’s stores nationwide from May 6th.
In a post on X, Guillaume Huynh, senior marketing director for McDonald’s US, said in a post on X that restaurants have already “begun training and preparation” ahead of the drink’s official menu rollout.
The drink may now be available for order at some restaurants, Huynh said, adding that the best way to find out if the drink is available at your location is to check in the McDonald’s app.
“McDonald’s drinks have always been special, but this takes us into a new era,” Huynh said.
