HomeGoods, a sister store to TJ Maxx and Marshalls, says it plans to open two new stores by the end of July.
According to TJX’s website, the company’s first two stores opened in Massachusetts in 1977, and the company acquired Marshall’s in 1995. At the time, Marshalls was the second largest off-price retailer in the United States, with 496 stores.
Founded in 1992, HomeGoods offers “a wide selection of home fashions from around the world,” according to TJX’s website.

Where will HomeGoods open new stores?
According to HomeGoods’ “Grand Openings” page, the following locations are scheduled to open by the end of this month:
- 8270 Agora Parkway, Selma, Texas – July 16th
- 281 South Clovis Ave., Fresno, California – July 30th
The following locations are listed as new openings on the same Grand Openings page:
- 2450 Calumet Trace, Owensboro, Kentucky
- 337 Russell Street, Hadley, MA
- 1463 University Drive, Burlington, NC
- 3200 Columbus Center, Columbus, IN
