Hailee Steinfeld welcomes first child with husband Josh Allen
Hailee Steinfeld and husband Josh Allen have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
New mom Hailee Steinfeld is “absolutely obsessed.”
The 29-year-old “Sinners” actress shared her first Mother’s Day story about her baby girl with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
“A day late but I’m just obsessed with this 💗,” she captioned a May 11 Instagram post.
The photos included a photo of a baby clutching the index finger of his left hand, a collection of Mother’s Day cards, a pancake breakfast, a “Happy Mother’s Day” cake, and a baby’s feet in an apple-print onesie.
The Oscar-nominated actress, who revealed her pregnancy in December, has kept most details of her family life private. She has shared milestones, including her engagement to Allen and the birth of her daughter on April 2, which she announced in the Beau Society newsletter.
Steinfeld and Allen, who began dating in 2023 and married in May 2025, have been each other’s biggest supporters for years.
“My wife is an incredible, undeniable rock star, both in her work and in her life as a person. She’s everything I need in my life,” Allen said in an interview with ESPN in October.
Ms. Steinfeld is known for attending some of her husband’s NFL games without much fanfare.
In an interview with Bustle magazine in November, she said: “The peace of mind that you have, that rock, that solid, consistent part of your life, is indescribable. I literally thank God every day that I found the person that I am. It’s the greatest thing in the world.”
She continued, “Life has meaning. Everything has meaning. I feel like I’ve been through so much being with him and I’m stepping into a version of what I’ve always dreamed of.”
