Chicago pizza chain Giordano’s is taking painstaking efforts to help people struggling with rising gas prices.
Starting Friday, May 22, the chain will launch a new “Summer Savings – Save a Gallon” promotion that subtracts the average price of a gallon of gas in Chicago from pizza orders.

How to get summer savings at Giordano’s
This promotion is available only to members of Giordano’s Loyalty Program for dine-in, carry-out and delivery orders at participating locations nationwide. Delivery orders by third parties are excluded.
This includes those who choose to enroll in our loyalty program this summer.
This offer applies to orders of 1 Giordano Pizza or more with a minimum purchase price of $15.
How much can I save by ordering Giordano?
Throughout the summer, the pizza chain will update discounts every Monday based on the current average cost of a gallon of regular gasoline in the city of Chicago.
Discounts reflect gasoline prices published by AAA.
What is the average price of gas in Chicago today, May 22nd?
The chain announced today’s average price was $5.43. That means loyalty members can save $5.43 on pizza orders through Monday.
