Pop superstar Taylor Swift and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelse have announced their engagement on Instagram.
President Donald Trump is counting among those who valued Taylor Swift and Travis Kelse’s engagement.
Trump recognized the involvement of the Popstar and the Kansas City Chiefs with tight ends during a cabinet meeting Tuesday. What is his reaction to the news?
“Well, I want a lot of luck from them,” Trump said. “I think he’s a great player, a great guy. I think she’s a great guy. So I wish them a lot of luck.”
Trump’s Swift praise is a stark contrast to his mention of her last year. After Swift supported Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign, Trump posted, “I Hate Taylor Swift!” On his true social platform.
In May, Trump said, “I hate Taylor Swift,” so did everyone realize that?
Neither Kelce nor Swift responded to Trump’s latest comments that they didn’t want them very well.
Kelse and Swift have been romantically linked since 2023. They began dating shortly after Kelce gave Swift a romantic overture on an episode of his “New Heights” podcast.
The two announced their engagement on a joint Instagram post on Tuesday.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are married,” read the Swift post.
