National voluntary recall of Chips Ahoy! Baked Bites Brookie snacks are expanding, according to a recent notice from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The first recall was announced on Dec. 24 after an improper mixing process caused small cornstarch clumps to form within the product. Mondelēz Global, which owns the brand, said the nature and size of the small starch clumps pose a choking hazard, especially for young children and the elderly.

This enhancement adds one code date, 10MAY2026, and two UPCs or product pouches in recalled carton units for CHIPS AHOY! Baked Bites Brookie. There are no other chips, Ahoy! Products affected by the recall.

There have been no reports of injuries or illnesses related to the product.
