Charles Barkley makes bold statement about Minneapolis shooting

After Saturday’s game between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves was postponed due to the fatal shooting by a federal agent in Minnesota, TV host and former NBA MVP Charles Barkley shared his thoughts on live broadcast. Inside the NBAstates that people need to “step up and grow up.”

Barkley called the situation “sad” and “horrible” and said “two people died for no reason.”

It was in reference to Saturday’s shooting and the Jan. 7 shooting of Renee Good, who was shot and killed by federal ICE agents in Minneapolis.

Things “will end badly,” Barclay said. “They’ve already ended badly twice.”

According to the NBA, the Warriors vs. Timberwolves game scheduled for Saturday has been rescheduled for Sunday, January 25th at 5:30 p.m. ET at Target Center in Minneapolis.

The announcement said the decision was made to “prioritize the safety and security of the Minneapolis community.”
