California Gov. Gavin Newsom has accused President Donald Trump of “dictatorial conduct” by deploying the National Guard to quell violent protests in Los Angeles.

Newsom posted a video of Trump to social media saying that he would charge the federal government to state and local officials if he interfered in immigration enforcement that caused the protests, June 6, 7, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 2018 Trump.

Gavin accused Trump of “inciting and provoking violence,” “creating massive chaos,” and “militarized cities.”

“These are dictatorial acts, not president,” Newsom said.

The two men have been in conflict for a long time. Trump said on social media on June 7 that federal authorities need to intervene due to the inaction between Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Newsom, whom Trump nicknamed.

“If California Gov. Gavin Newscum and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass can’t do their job, if everyone knows they can’t, the federal government will solve the problems, the riots and the looters, how they should solve it, and solve it!!!” Trump said in the post.

The two clashed repeatedly. Most recently, in late May, when Trump threatened to cut California’s federal funds after a transgender high school athlete competed in the state championships.

“Major federal funding will probably be permanently restrained,” Trump said at the time if California signed on February 5 to encourage transgender student-athletes to play women’s sports.

Newsom, a presidential aspirational Democrat, has also criticised his own party, but also refrained from Trump over tariffs, fires and management of water and environmental resources.
