US Steel and Nippon Steel reach merger agreement with the US government

0

play

President Donald Trump signed a signature on June 13 that paved the way for the acquisition of US steel, as long as Japan-based Nippon Steel is “compliant” with the national security agreement.

The company announced it has joined a national security agreement with the US government, which requires $11 billion in new investments by 2028.

“This partnership will bring about large investments to support our communities and families for generations to come,” the company announced in a joint statement. “We look forward to steering our commitment into action to make America’s steelworks and manufacturing great again.”

The agreement brings the company one step closer to completing the $14.3 billion sale of US steel that it agreed to in December 2023.

The company also said the partnership will bring investments in steel mills, protecting and creating more than 100,000 jobs.

In January, former President Joe Biden issued an executive order to halt the acquisition of US steel in Japan, saying it would put America’s biggest steel producers under foreign control and create a “national security” risk.

In February, Trump said that Nippon Steel would try to invest in American steel rather than owning the iconic American company.

“Steel strengthens our country: our infrastructure, our automotive industry, and our defense industry base,” he said. “Without domestic steel production and domestic steel workers, our country is not that strong and less secure.”

Trump doubled US tariffs on steel imports by 50% on June 4th.

The acquisition will set the icon of diseased American steel, receiving important investments and enable Nippon Steel to take advantage of many American infrastructure projects. Additionally, if a company fails to secure approval, Japanese companies will be exempt from paying a $565 million dissolution fee.

What is Project Kuiper? Bezos competes against the mask and Starlink satellite

0

Elon Musk has long dominated the satellite business that provides the internet with the launch of the regular SpaceX Starlink. Currently, Jeff Bezos is about to compete with Amazon’s Project Kuiper.

play

  • Amazon’s project Kuiper will provide high-speed internet to customers around the world with more than 80 planned launches to deploy more than 3,200 satellites one day.
  • The first launch will be held from Florida on April 28th, with the next launch, planned for June 16th, double the orbital Kuiper satellite to 54.
  • The Kuiper Initiative is a direct challenge to Elon Musk, where SpaceX Company has been providing more than 7,000 StarLink satellites into orbit since 2019.

For years, billionaire Elon Musk has dominated the satellite business that provides the internet with his ever-growing Starlink constellations.

Since 2019, SpaceX’s famous Falcon 9 Rocket has been distributed regularly to Orbit Batches after batches of Starlink satellites from launch sites in Florida and California. And since 2019, the venture has essentially not been challenged.

But it’s beginning to change.

As of late April, rival billionaire Jeff Bezos has officially entered the broadband network market following the initial launch of Amazon’s Internet Beam satellite into satellite orbit. Known as Project Kuiper, the initiative is a subsidiary of online Commerce Behemoth, which made Bezos one of the wealthiest men living.

Now, after delivering the first batch of 27 Kuiper satellites on April 28th, Amazon is about to roll out more.

The upcoming release, which has been signed back with Colorado-based United Launch Alliance, could potentially descend from ground from Florida on Monday, June 16th. The success of the mission doubles the number of Kuiper Satellites deployed by Amazon, but the company has a long way to go before about 3,200 total planned satellites can operate in low-Earth orbit.

What you need to know about how Bezos expects Amazon to compete with Musk, Starlink and Project Kuiper, will be able to start serving customers by the second half of 2025.

What is Project Kuiper? Amazon builds satellite constellations

Amazon’s Project Kuiper will one day provide high-speed internet to customers around the world. To achieve that goal, the company has begun building satellite constellations linked to a global network of ground antennas, textiles and internet connection points.

The effort officially began in April with a mission known as Kuiper Atlas 1 (KA-01). It was named both the Kuiper satellite and the Atlas V rocket that delivered to low Earth orbit. The famous Atlas V Rocket is developed and operated by United Launch Alliance (ULA), a joint venture between Boeing and Lockheed Martin.

According to the company, the satellite has been significantly upgraded after the launch of the prototype Kuiper satellite in October 2023.

Project Kuiper’s Amazon’s $10 billion plan includes a $140 million, 100,000 square foot processing plant at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, preparing to launch Project Kuiper’s satellites from Cape.

Amazon promotes the service as a service that benefits “unused and unserved communities” in rural areas where internet access is elusive.

What is Starlink? Jeff Bezos, Amazon competes with Elon Musk

The venture offers a ton of competition for Elon Musk, the world’s wealthiest man who founded SpaceX in 2002.

Musk’s commercial spaceflight company has long led the launch of satellites, bringing over 7,000 operating Starlink satellites into orbit since 2019.

SpaceX’s famous two-stage Falcon 9 Rocket launch has become a routine in Florida and California. This year, the Federal Aviation Administration, which licensed commercial rockets to be released, provided Greenlight to SpaceX, increasing the launch of the Falcon 9 rocket from Van Denburg Space Force Base in Southern California, Santa Barbara County, from 36 to 50 per year.

When will Kuiper Satellites be released next ULA from Florida?

Deliveries of 27 additional Amazon Kuiper satellites could occur immediately on Monday, June 16th.

Another ULA Atlas V Rocket is set to be released as early as 1:25pm on ET ET from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

Again, the Atlas V is equipped with five solid rocket boosters, adding them to the main booster that corresponds to the heaviest payload ever flew in order to add a liftoff. So it’s possible that people from states beyond Florida can see the launch vehicle soaring into the air.

After lift-off, the rocket deploys the satellite to an altitude of 280 miles above Earth. The satellite then autonomously uses an electric propulsion system to rise to 392 miles tall, allowing the Earth to orbit every 90 minutes, according to Amazon.

It’s also around the time the Amazon Project Kuiper team takes control of the operation center in Redmond, Washington.

Works in what is called low-earth orbit – an altitude that allows satellite-like items to circle the Earth fairly quickly – helps reduce delays and connectivity issues during video calls, gaming, and streaming.

What’s next for Amazon’s satellite signs?

As Amazon continues to accumulate satellite constellations in low-Earth orbit, it will be the second out of approximately 80 in the future. If everything goes as planned, the company said it “expects to start serving customers later this year.”

Bezos and Amazon have come a long way from catching up to Musk and Starlink, but the first generation Kuiper satellite system is expected to include 3,232 high-earth orbit satellites. And while Musk can take advantage of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 Rocket for Starlink deployment, Bezos still doesn’t have that luxury.

SpaceFlight Company Blue Origin, which also owns Bezos, is developing a massive new Glenn Rocket for Kuiper Deliveries, but Amazon will rely on contracting with other launch service providers for the launch of Kuiper, including SpaceX.

However, the United Launch Alliance will deploy most of the satellites to Atlas V and Vulcan Centaur rockets. Amazon also plans to sign a deal with Arianespace.

ULA can launch five more Kuiper Missions this year, ULA CEO Tory Bruno told Reuters in an interview in April. Amazon said in its 2020 FCC filing it could launch services in some of its 578 satellites in the northern and southern regions, expanding towards the Earth’s equator as the company launches more satellites.

Israel’s unprecedented attacks show that Iran has become a “playground” for Mossad

0

CNN

The spy was already on the ground in enemy territory before Israel launched an unprecedented wave of strikes against Iran’s nuclear facilities and top military leaders this week.

According to Israeli security officials, Mossad, the Israeli intelligence reporting agency, smuggled weapons into Iran prior to the strike and used weapons to target Iran’s defense.

Officials said Israel has established a base for launching explosive drones in Iran, and the drones were later used to target missile launchers near Tehran. Precision weapons were also smuggled and used to target ground-air-inter-air missile systems, clearing the way that the Israeli Air Force would carry out more than 100 strikes on more than 200 aircraft in the early hours of local time.

The plan to negate Iran’s defenses appears to have been effective. Israel said all aircraft are safely returning from the waves of the first strike, appearing to show Israel’s air superiority in some countries hundreds of miles away.

Information gathered by Iranian Mossad gave the Israeli Air Force the ability to target senior Iranian commanders and scientists.

In an incredibly unusual move, Mossad releases video from several operations, indicating that he is attacking a drone that looks like an unsuspecting missile launcher.

It is the latest operation to show how deeply Israeli intelligence agency, including the Mossad, has penetrated some of Iran’s closest secrets. This operation makes the Mossad seem almost unstoppable in Iran, allowing them to hit some of the highest ranked officials and most sensitive sites.

“Mossad has been treating Iran like a playground for years,” said Holly Dougles, a senior fellow at the Washington Institute and curator of the Iranistic newsletter.

“From assassinating top nuclear scientists to obstructing Iran’s nuclear facilities, Israel has proven many times since its first The-Tat strike in April 2024, it has always been dominant in this now open and unfolding shadow war.”

Israeli security sources say the latest operations require commando forces operating deep within Tehran and across the country, avoiding detection from Iranian security and intelligence agency. Sources said the Mossad team targeted air defense missiles, ballistic missiles and missile launchers when the attacks began from the Israeli Air Force.

According to a second Israeli security source, Operation Mossad has been around for several years, and it involved both efforts to gather intelligence reports and deployment of the Mossad Command, deep within the enemy’s boundaries.

Security sources say that some of the Mossad Command forces operated in the Iranian capital itself.

The video shared with CNN appears to show a one-way attack drone targeting missile launchers.

In addition to drone bases established by Mossad long before Wednesday’s attack, the Mossad Command deployed a “precision guided weapons system” near Iran’s missile air defense system. In the second operation, weapons mounted on sophisticated vehicles were deployed to target other Iranian defense systems.

Operation Mossad also included the assassination of top Iranian officials.

Israel demonstrates the ability of Mossad to operate almost indemnified in Iran in the past.

Since the early 2010s, Iran has accused Israel of running an assassination campaign against the country’s nuclear scientists. When Israel said in 2015 that it could not be held responsible for “the life expectancy of Iranian nuclear scientists,” former defense minister Moshe Yaaron tacitly admitted the targeted killing.

Between 2007 and 2012, Israel is said to have carried out five secret assassinations, almost all in Tehran, through remotely controlled bombings or remotely controlled machine guns. Only one of Iran’s leading nuclear scientists survived the assassination attempt, Ferreidon Abbasi.

Last month, Abbasi told Iranian state media that attacks on production sites had little impact on the timeline of the bomb development.

Abbasi was one of the scientists killed in an early Israeli attack in Tehran.

Mossad’s actions were soon much more public.

In early 2018, Israel stole Iran’s nuclear archives from Tehran and displayed the Intelligence Election coup on live broadcasts from Jerusalem. Speaking in English, Netanyahu showed off his archives. What he said was a display of 55,000 pages of Iran’s nuclear information and a disc he said was 55,000 files.

Iran tried to dismiss Netanyahu’s comments as “childish” and “laughter,” but the plunder of the archives showed confidence in Israel’s ability to function in Tehran. The operation required a massive plan and knowledge of archive location and security, which led the first Trump administration to withdraw from the original nuclear agreement with Iran, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Israel has not yet been done.

軍人は、11月30日月曜日にイランのテヘランで葬儀で葬儀中にモーセン・ファクリザデの旗が飾られたcoの近くに立っています。イランは、イスラエルが<a src = = a <a src =の背後にいるという証拠があると主張しています。The assassination of Fakhrizadeh, one of the nation’s top nuclear scientists, does not provide evidence of that. In November 2020, Israel assassinated Mohsen Faklizadeh, the leading nuclear scientist in Iran. He was in a bulletproof vehicle traveling with his wife. Fakhrizadeh’s car had moved to the convoy along with three security vehicles when he fired. Iranian state media said a remotely controlled machine gun fired on a long-time target in Israel.

Operations that Israel has not publicly recognized were carried out with incredible accuracy and demonstrated a deep knowledge of Faklizadeh’s patterns of life.

Still, Iran has proven unable to improve despite the fact that he has not been able to stop the Mossad.

Ram Ben Barak, former deputy director of the Mossad, said the organization’s continued success was “due to a highly hated regime and is hated by most people, allowing for intelligent penetration on the one hand, while on the other hand, it has the sophisticated professionalism of Israeli intelligence officials.”

After the start of the war in Gaza, Israel assassinated Hamas political leader Ismail Hanie, in the heart of Tehran. Sources familiar with the matter said Israel planted an explosive device in the guesthouse where Honeye is known to be staying. The bomb was hidden in the room for two months before the targeted killing, and exploded remotely as Honey was in the room.

Auckland City FC: Meet amateur teams with the aim of defeating the biggest names of soccer at the FIFA Club World Cup

0

CNN

As FIFA’s improved expanded club World Cup begins in the US on Saturday, most fans’ eyes will be firmly locked in a wealth of football superstars up to $125 million, including Lionel Messi, Killian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.

However, the amazing story of Auckland City FC on the amateur side flew under the radar, with the players of the Oceania team going on lifelong trips and testing themselves against some of the world’s elite.

Based outside the North Shore, New Zealand’s largest city, the club boasts a team consisting only of players who work and study full-time in addition to their football careers.

From forklift drivers to soda salesmen and real estate agents, the small New Zealand rise has been likened to the story of Hollywood scripted scripts, from the pinnacle of the global club game.

Auckland City, which was won last year as the Oceania Champions League winner, booked the position in the tournament and became the only representative of the continent in the process.

The Auckland City team, portrayed in a group featuring 34-time German champions Bayern Munich, Portuguese giant Benfica and iconic Argentine side Boca Juniors, hopes to make football history in the next two weeks when they compete with the sport’s best players.

Talking to CNN Sports, team captain Mario Ilich explained that his team’s “love of the game” was the driving force behind his historic qualifications.

“People say professional players are working hard, but we’re trying to compete at the top level of the game, holding back two, sometimes three jobs.”

Mario Ilich told CNN Sports:

Ilic, who makes a living as a sales representative for Coca-Cola, detailed the busy routines that most teams follow every day.

Without the multi-million dollar training complex available to many elite European teams, players in Auckland City will need to cram in most of their gym and recovery work outside the club facility.

“My normal days start around 5am. The alarm goes off. I’ll be out for an hour at the gym, have breakfast, and come back to go to the office at 8am.

“I’m going to finish it before 5pm so I can train across town. I’ll spend about two hours in the grass at 6pm. I’ll head home around 9pm and head to bed to get ready again the next day.”

Ilich works as a sales representative for Coca-Cola in his work.

Navy Blues It is a New Zealand regional league fixture and is usually performed on Saturdays.

This is a schedule that you don’t lend to living away from the office or soccer pitch, and can be sacrificed not only to players, but also to family and friends.

“You can meet your partner on a Friday night or on a strange Sunday, but thankfully she has a very understanding of the finite nature of a player’s career and is able to pursue her dreams,” Ilich said.

Oakland City FC goalkeeper Conor Tracy recalled the moment when he and other teams learned the results of the Club World Cup group stage draw.

“You’ll never forget that moment,” Tracy told CNN, explaining how players and management met at 6am and how they watched a live Oakland City Clubhouse draw before heading to their respective jobs.

“When each team was pulled out, our chins kept approaching the floor. Each side has such an incredible history and reputation for the sport.

Oakland City goalkeeper Conor Tracy said,

For Tracy, who spends his days on the veterinary pharmaceutical company’s warehouse floor, the tournament will be the “pinner” of his career.

However, he has been struggling with injuries recently, as manual handling and frequent heavy lifting are required in his daily work.

“My job is very physical and can cause a blow to my body. Given that we don’t have time for a proper recovery, I tend to get hurt a lot more than a regular goalkeeper.

“I don’t lie, especially when I’m trying to deal with the dark winter mornings and nights,” Tracy added.

Tracey is working on the warehouse floor of a veterinary pharmaceutical company.

“There were some opportunities I was thinking about giving up on football, and many have done it over the years, and there are too many people in their families and careers.

From the summit to the valley and on the back

The difficulty of dealing with the demands of elite football when trying to balance “normal” jobs is a job that resonates with Auckland City Deputy Captain Adam Mitchell.

Mitchell thought he had achieved his childhood dreams early in his career when he secured the move for former European Cup winner Red Star to Belgrade.

However, due to a lack of games, he moved to Slovenian club football, followed by a short stint in the lower tier of British football with the Bolton Wanderers.

Mitchell reached the point where he had to decide whether to continue pursuing his professional football dream or return to New Zealand.

Auckland City vice captain Adam Mitchell played professionally in his youth before returning to New Zealand.

“It’s a dream for many people to make big time and become professionals when they’re young, but I think people often don’t realize how difficult and competitive it is,” Mitchell told CNN Sports.

“Thousands of players are fighting for just a handful of contracts. So when it doesn’t end up with the glamor and charm of elite soccer (without big houses or flashy cars), it can feel very tough, especially if you’re not in a foreign country.”

Thankfully, playing for Oakland City, Mitchell presents him with the opportunity to continue pursuing his football dreams in a way that many imagine.

The veteran defender won’t lose that opportunity as the team’s kickoff to the opening group game against six-time champion Liesug winner Bayern approaches. The veteran defender hopes the team’s exploits will blow fresh excitement among the New Zealand sports masses.

“I remember seeing the 2010 World Cup in South Africa as a young child. I have vivid memories of the excitement of New Zealand’s three draws. So it’s a great opportunity to do the same at the club level and proudly represent our country and region,” Mitchell said.

Bayern, two European Cup winners Benfica and six Coparibatadores winners, Boca Junior, each boasting the World Cup winners, Navy Blues You’re really against the world’s highest.

For Ilich, the prospect of facing Bundesliga winner Joshua Kimmich in the midfield is something he enjoys.

“As my own midfielder, I’ve always seen how Kimic plays the game. Testing yourself against him is pretty cool. Jamal Musiala is just another incredible dribbler and creator.

Goalkeeper Tracy is alongside the “innovative” Manuel Neuer, a player who believes he has modernised the way he plays his position. Despite paying homage to the Bayern captain, forklift driver Tracy is determined to show the World Cup winners that his Auckland City side has not traveled to the US to incorporate tourist attractions.

On the defensive line, it’s hardly believed that vice captain Mitchell will be tasked with including England’s record-breaking goalscorer Harry Kane, who is firmly labelled as one of the greatest strikers of this generation.

According to Skipper Ilich, the Oakland City team is “no fantasy” about how difficult the task is, as such a height name is like an enemy.

But the amateurs head to the US with the unwavering belief that anything, no matter how big it is, can happen.

“They’re millions of dollars and we’re amateurs who play for the love of the game,” Ilich told CNN Sports.

“But all we have is that we are all friends on and off the pitch and compete hard with each other.

“Do you know what happens when you run your coach’s plan and pass on the best shot? At the end of the day, there are 11 players and 11 players.

“So we’re just trying to go there and do what we’ve always done.

Taco Bell debuts crispy chicken tacos, burritos and strips

play

Taco Bell’s chicken nuggets were just the beginning as the Mexican-inspired fast food chain’s crispy chicken era is here to stay with the debut of new items.

Starting June 17th, the chain, which was announced on Thursday, June 12th, will be available nationwide at locations. Both items feature crispy chicken strips inside and are available in a new spicy ranchero and avocado lunch sauce.

“Taco Bell’s obsession with crispy chicken recipes was very deep, and one of the perfect spokesmen didn’t crown,” the company wrote in a news release. “The next move was clear. Pack your beloved tortilla-coated crunch fans into the format that made Taco Bell famous – tacos and burritos.”

For $2.79, the Crispy Chicken Tacos layer a new crispy strip with purple cabbage, lettuce, pico de gallo and shredded cheddar cheese. Meanwhile, the crispy chicken burrito comes with two strips, purple cabbage, crispy pretas, pico de gallo and cheddar cheese for $5.49.

The chain also offers two crunchy chicken strips at a price of $3.99 to avoid confusing them with the crispy chicken nuggets that debuted last December and returned in April.

What’s the spicy ranchero and avocado lunch sauce?

Taco Bell’s new spicy Ranchero sauce combines Anaheim and Jalapeño chili with tomatoes, garlic and onions.

The chain described its creamy avocado ranch sauce as “a frenzy farm with avocado hints.”

According to Taco Bell, both sauces cost 60 cents or 30 cents if added to a menu item.

Taco Bell will be taking part in the 2025 Chicken Rap Battle

The addition of crispy chicken tacos and burritos to Taco Bell’s menu is because various chains compete in what looks like a fast food chicken rap battle.

McDonald’s is making a permanent revival of his national fan-favorite snack wrap on Thursday, July 10th. The company confirmed with USA Today on June 3rd. However, Popeyes announced on June 2nd that it would add chicken to its menu in a limited amount of time.

Popeyez appears to be throwing shade at McDonald’s on May 30th, with McDonald’s X’s post on April 15th hinting at a snack wrap comeback.

McDonald’s post on April 15th: “Snack Wrap 0x.14.2025” suggests that menu items will return on the 14th day of the unidentified month of 2025.

“Chicken wrap 0x.02.2025,” Popeyes wrote on May 30th.

A federal judge ruled that the Trump administration could detain Mahmoud Khalil under secondary legal arguments.

On June 13, New Jersey US District Judge Michael Fabiartz rejected the request of a 30-year-old Palestinian-Columbia University graduate who was released three months after immigration detention.

On June 11, Falbiartz initially determined that Halil had not been detained due to Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s determination that he had threatened the interests of American foreign policy. However, Falbialz has left other options open for immigration and customs enforcement to preserve the Halil.

Prior to the deadline for the corresponding court order on June 13, Justice Department lawyers alleged that under federal immigration law, Halil was presented to the court for misrepresenting information about his permanent residence application.

“Halil is currently in custody on other charges of removability,” a Justice Department lawyer wrote in a letter filed in court on June 13. “It is legal to bind Khalil on other grounds of removal.”

They said Halil has the option to seek his release, which is currently pending charges.

Farbiarz sided with the assessment and said the secondary charges were not blocked by the court.

He said, “There are many ways to do this now in ‘Halil’, including bail applications to immigration judges who are primarily diving in immigration cases.”

Halil’s lawyer, Amy Greer, said the government is using “cruel and transparent delay tactics” to keep him away from his wife and son, born on June 15th, on his first father’s day.

“Instead of celebrating together, he suffers from ice detention as a punishment for his advocacy on behalf of his fellow Palestinians,” Greer said in a statement.

The Justice Department had no comments beyond the application, an agency spokesperson said in an email.

The government had to appeal the judge’s first ruling until June 13th. Justice Department lawyers urged Halil to follow administrative measures instead of filing it in federal court.

“These administrative processes are the right path for Halil to seek release and that the government has determined that it cannot detain Halil on a charge in the federal district court that the government has never found it illegal,” the government’s lawyer said in a letter.

His original June 11 ruling demanded that Fabiartz Khalil be temporarily blocked by federal officials deporting him under Rubio’s resolve. On June 13, he responded to extending government time to appeal his decision. Justice Department lawyers instead raised a second argument.

Khalil’s legal team wrote to Farbiarz on the morning of June 13th, demanding that the client be released as an appeal from the government failed to meet the morning deadline.

Halil has been running at the Louisiana Immigration Detention Center since March. His lawyer fought alongside his wife and newborn son Dean for his release.

However, the June 12 email was sent to Halil’s attorneys by Brian Acuna, director of the New Orleans Ice Field Office. His lawyers should instead contact Ice’s Chief Counsel of Chief Counsel of Office about the matter, the email said.

Immigration agents arrested Halil, a green cardholder who married an American citizen on March 8th, in the lobby of a university-owned apartment complex in Manhattan.

A Palestinian born in Syria, Khalil was a spokesman and negotiator for Colombian pro-Palestinian protesters. Halil was not accused of a crime.

The Trump administration argued that non-citizens could be deported if the Secretary of State discovers that their existence threatens the interests of our foreign policy, even if their beliefs, statements, or associations are “otherwise legal.” They cited the rarely used provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952.

Fabiartz opposed the Secretary of State’s decision, calling it a secondary argument – that he omitted information about his application “almost certainly flows” from Rubio’s resolve.

On June 13, Farbiarz said he had not given any de facto evidence as to why it was illegal to hold him on a second charge.

“No King” protest, rainy weekend with DC Army Parade predictions

0

play

Rain and thunderstorms could place dampers in a massive military parade of President Donald Trump’s birthday in the country’s capital, with hundreds of nationwide protests planned on Saturday, predictors said.

The National Weather Service says that most of the central and eastern parts of the country will shower until Friday and weekend, with the highest risk of southeastern Texas and thunderstorms throughout the weekend. The large area spanning Chicago and Washington is covered by a slow-moving system that is expected to bring about daily showers and storms.

The storm will also fall on Trump’s 79th birthday in time for a planned parade in DC, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the US military. The parade costs $40 million and features tanks and troops rolling downtown, watching Trump watch from a specially constructed review stand.

Protests are planned in 1,800 communities across all 50 states on the same day, and is expected to be the largest and most anti-Trump demonstration since he took office for his second term. The so-called “No Kings Day” protests centered around the biggest protests in Philadelphia, with forecasters saying on Saturday it looked “cloudy, showers, drizzle and damp.”

The weather for this Saturday demonstration day is as follows:

Will it rain at the Trump parade?

The Army Anniversary event is scheduled to begin Saturday at 8:15am with a wreath-appearing ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. The mornings and afternoons will be filled with fitness competitions, music performances, events recognizing Medal of Honor recipients, and cake-cutting ceremonies.

The festival then transitions into a parade in the evening. The parade will begin at 6:30pm on Constitutional Avenue in Downtown DC and will last until 7:45pm or 8pm with enlistment ceremonies and fireworks.

A forecaster for the National Weather Service, located in the Baltimore-Washington office, said DC will see drizzle rain and showers for most of Saturday. There is a drizzle area from 11am to 11am. From 11am to 2pm, event attendees should expect a shower, and the chances of thunderstorms after a 2pm rain during the day could be a tenth to a quarter inch, predictors said. High temperatures are expected to be 83 degrees.

After 6pm, when the parade is scheduled, there will be about 75% rainfall and potentially lightning.

The area will emerge from flood clocks where 1-3 inches of rain will be expected to rain on the DC Metro area from Friday evening to overnight. You can see 5 inches in some areas.

Many “king” protests could be seen rainy weather

Many of the protests planned on Saturday could be caught up in bad weather as much of the country expects rain showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures are expected to range from highs in the northeastern ’60s and ’70s to triple digits in some of the southwest.

In Philadelphia, where the biggest Kings Day protest is expected to kick off around noon, forecasters said the temperature is 72 degrees and the shower is likely to be expected on Saturday. A possible thunderstorm could also roll after 2pm. There is a 60% chance of rain during the day on Saturday.

There is also the risk of scattered severe thunderstorms on Saturday afternoons and evenings, with large hail and gusts of wind have been damaged across parts of the central and northern high plains, the Storm Prediction Center said. Storms could hit parts of the southern and central plains. Most at-risk areas include Rapid City, South Dakota. North Platte, Nebraska. Gillette, Wyoming. Sheridan, Wyoming. And Spearfish and South Dakota. All of these cities are not planning Kings Day demonstrations, according to organizers.

How Israel’s campaign to wipe out Iran’s nuclear program was unfolded

0

CNN

Israel launched an unprecedented wave of strikes in Iran just before sunrise on Friday morning, crashing into a critical location in the country’s nuclear program and residential areas in Tehran’s upscale areas, killing some of the country’s tallest military leaders.

CNN analysis of satellite images and dozens of videos shared on social media provides insight into how a wide range of operations have been unfolded across the country. The attack landed hundreds of miles from Tel Aviv and the strike continued until the afternoon as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that artillery could last for several days.

The Israeli military said it used 200 fighter jets, known as “Rising Lion,” in surgical operations. Based on reviews of strike targets, the attack had several prongs. Heavy strikes against at least one of Iran’s uranium enrichment sites, stockpiling ballistic missiles and a more targeted strike in Tehran to decapitate the regime’s military leaders. It aimed to stop Israel saying it was Tehran’s rapid progress in the development of nuclear weapons.

Videos geolocated and verified by CNN reveal that multiple residential areas have been hit across Tehran, including the north, west and east. Aftermath footage showed crowds and paramedics surrounding collapsed buildings in a densely populated area.

Israeli operations came after years of threat and days of speculation.

Earlier in the week, the US made an effort to withdraw non-essential staff from locations around the Middle East. On Thursday, President Donald Trump told White House reporters he didn’t want to target Iran to Israel while talking to reach a new deal to limit Iran’s nuclear enrichment.

In retaliation, Iran launched more than 100 drones towards Israeli territory, Israeli forces said, and then barrage of ballistic missiles.

Here’s what we know about how the Israeli attacks unfolded in minutes: Always a local in Iran.

The first report of the explosion in Tehran took place on Friday around 3:30am local time. Videos of CNN planted on Earth showed that emergency services were burning several floors of apartment blocks in northern Tehran when they arrived at the scene.

Seven miles west of these buildings (still north of the city) showed damage from a strike in the upscale Siamlan Town area in another video. The entire wall was stripped of one of the buildings and people saw them climbing inside the tile bleach inside.

One strike crashed into the centre near Lale Park, the site of the 2022 death protest of Mahasa Amini, a 22-year-old woman who died after Iranian moral police custodyed her for being detained for not wearing her scarf properly.

Beyond the capital, the video showed a strike at Piranshaar military base in western Iran, about 350 miles (about 560 km) from Tehran. The video shows a series of rapid explosions illuminated the dark night sky, with smoke rising in the distance.

Ammunition researcher and former U.S. Army Senior Explosives Engineer Trevor Ball told CNN in a video showing “rocket motor burning” coinciding with a strike on a ballistic missile storage facility.

The strike also collided with the Natantz nuclear facility, about 150 miles (240 km) south of Tehran. Social media footage showed a large fireball rising from the site. CNN has acquired radar images from Umbra, a space imaging company that has damaged several areas of the facility. Other satellite images reviewed by CNN showed more clearly the same damage. A black plume of smoke rising from multiple locations throughout the site.

Natantz’s nuclear facility, according to a 2003 report from the Institute of Science and International Security, which includes satellite images of the site under construction in 2002, shows that the latest attacks do not appear to have collided with underground buildings, but the total extent of the damage is still unknown.

Iran’s nuclear energy agency said its main nuclear enrichment facility “had no serious damage,” and “no radiation leaks causing concern to people” after Israel attacked it. Behrouz Kamalvandi, a spokesman for Iran’s atomic energy organization, told Iran’s state media that the damage lies at the ground level from the underground facilities of the factory.

“The radiation levels outside the Natantz facility remained unchanged,” said Rafael Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Monitoring Agency, the International Atomic Energy Monitoring Agency, but added that “radiation levels exist within the facility.”

Shortly after the first explosion shook Tehran, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it had launched a preemptive attack on Iran’s nuclear program.

It said it would use jets to attack “dozens of military targets, including nuclear targets in various regions of Iran.”

The statement came at 3:44am in Israel. Israel is 30 minutes behind Iran’s timezone.

Within minutes, Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that the United States was “not involved” in Israel’s strike and that Israel’s actions were “unilateral.”

“Let me be clear: Iran should not target our interests or personnel,” Rubio said in a statement from X, predicting Iran’s potential response.

Just a mile west of the strike in the town of Siamran, the daytime video showed the aftermath of the strike in Tehran’s Chiser district. A huge hole was blown off on the top two floors of the building, with twisted iron bars hanging from the concrete structure.

Tehran residents later told CNN how they woke up in their homes “shaking” from the Israeli attack.

A 17-year-old Iranian, who asked to remain anonymous, said people were “screaming” on the streets. “I didn’t know what was going on. It was really scary,” the teenager said.

Listen from Netanyahu after Israel begins strike against Iran

02:35

When evidence of Israel’s strike began to pour in, Netanyahu made a televised speech, saying that Israel had acted “to roll back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival.” He said the surgery would continue as long as it would be “to remove these threats.”

Netanyahu claimed that Iran produced well-enriched uranium for nine nuclear weapons. In a report sent to member states on May 31, the IAEA also determined that Iran had sufficient uranium enriched to 60% purity near the weapons grade to create nine nuclear weapons.

“Iran could produce nuclear weapons in a very short time. It could take a year. It could take a few months,” Netanyahu said. “This is a clear and current danger to Israel’s survival.”

The prime minister claimed that Israel had hit Iran’s major enrichment facility in Natanz, which was supported by a video on the site.

As the sun rose, the full extent of Israel’s attacks became clear. Videos published after 6am showed the aftermath of the strike against military bases and cargo terminals in Iraq and adjacent West Kermansha region over 250 miles from Tehran and 167 miles from Baghdad.

After Netanyahu claimed that Israel had targeted Natanz’s nuclear facility, UN nuclear observers confirmed that Natanz had been attacked.

“The IAEA is closely monitoring the deep situation regarding the Iranian situation,” he said.

The agency said it was in contact with Iranian authorities regarding the local radiation levels. A later statement said no increase in radiation was observed.

Israeli forces said they killed the Iranian army and three most senior men in its nuclear program.

Major General Hossein Salami, head of the Secret Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRGC), was the best property of those killed. Israel said in its first statement it had killed Major General Mohammad Bageyeri, the chief of staff of the Iranian army, and General Golam Ali Rashid, the leader of Iranian emergency headquarters.

Hossein Salami, head of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard, will be attending a military parade in Tehran in April 2024.

The IDF then said they killed Iran’s highest leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and Ali Shamhani, a close aide to IRGC’s air force commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh.

It appears that many of Tehran’s strikes were targeting these senior officials. Last year, Israel demonstrated its ability to assassinate its enemy with highly targeted attacks on Iranian soil. In July 2024, he killed Hamas political leader Ismail Honey, Hamas political leader, by remotely detonating a bomb hidden in a Tehran room.

Friday’s strike appeared to be highly targeted, but there have been reports of civilian casualties.

The IDF said Iran has fired more than 100 drones towards Israeli territory, and Israeli air defenses are preparing to intercept them.

“I’m hoping for a difficult time,” he said.

Following previous Israeli attacks on proxies in Iran and the region, Tehran fought back with a massive salvos of ballistic missiles.

“Israel targeting Iran’s ballistic missile launch sites and stockpiles could somehow disrupt Iran’s response,” the War Institute, a think tank in Washington, DC.

Early in the afternoon, Iranian media reported that Israel had launched a new strike in the northwest city of Tabriz. Tamsin News Agency said Tablis Airport was struck by “a heavy Israeli attack.”

After learning of the extent of Israel’s attack, Trump urged Iranian leaders to agree to a new nuclear deal “nothing remains in their country.”

Trump said he gave Iran a “post-chance chance.” “Do that before it’s too late,” he writes about Truth Social, a social media platform.

Under the 2015 nuclear deal that was hit by President Barack Obama, Iran agreed to significantly limit the number of uranium enrichment in centrifuges and caps to levels well below the level required to build weapons in exchange for sanctions relief.

However, during his first term as president in 2018, Trump withdrew from the contract, saying the “rotten structure” of the deal was not enough to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear bomb. He threatened to tighten sanctions against Iran and sanction the nation that helped the regime acquire nuclear weapons.

In his second semester, Trump revived efforts to launch a new nuclear deal with Iran.

Hours before the Israeli attack, the president warned Israel on Thursday against the launch of a strike while consultations are underway. US authorities have held several high-stakes nuclear talks with Iran in recent weeks, demanding Tehran to halt all uranium enrichment activities.

Iran has long argued that its nuclear program is peace. They say they want to enrich uranium for civilian purposes, not for weapons, but for nuclear reactors.

“Zero Nuclear We have a Trade. Zero Enrichment = We have no Trade,” Foreign Minister Abbas Araguchi said in a post last month on X, setting the red line for Tehran in discussions.

Experts say the Black Box will be more certain to investigators about what happened with Air India’s flights.

0

Washington DC

Investigators have recovered equipment from this week’s tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad, India.

According to aviation industry experts, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner cockpit recorder and flight data recorder were recovered from the top of the medical college hostel building where the plane crashed, allowing some of the speculation to rest in the investigation that killed 241 people on the plane.

The flight data recorder was retrieved from the rear edge of the plane.

The problem is According to Peter Goelz, former Managing Director of NTSB and CNN Aviation Analyst, National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) investigators, India or other countries, ingest black box data.

“It’s very dramatic,” Goerz said. “It looked like the plane was about to land for the last time. It was on fire, However, we will not know until we get the box back. ”

The Indian Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau owns recorders and other potential evidence for the investigation. The data recorder is expected to give insight into what happened at the last moment of a flight when the pilot was making important decisions.

Less than a minute after takeoff, the plane staff made a Mayday call to air traffic control, Indian civil aviation authorities said.

Fatal collisions have attracted more global attention for air safety, and have spurred the public. Flight concerns. There have already been some aviation tragedy and incidents this year. This includes the January air collision between the Army Black Hawk helicopter and the American Airlines regional jet, which urged calls for increased safety measures.

Boeing’s 787-8 Dreamliner is highly praised by many aviation experts for its reliability and engineering. According to Boeing, over the past 14 years, the fleet has carried over 1 billion passengers.

“It was a really great plane and when they designed it, it was completely off the regular production line of what Boeing normally creates,” says Erika Armstrong, marketing pilot and director at Advanced Aircrew Academy.

For years, the company has increased surveillance for crashes involving planes, leading to 20 months of grounding on the largest aircraft following two fatal crash losses, quality concerns and financial difficulties.

Golez said the tragedy “could not have happened at a bad time for Boeing.” He said this was part of the investigation along with GE Aerospace, the aircraft engine manufacturer.

In the US, plane makers will be hot seating at the end of the month last year when investigators were set up to determine the possible causes of mid-excit door plugs on a commercial plane on a Boeing 737-9 near Portland, Oregon.

Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg reportedly cancelled plans to attend Paris Air Show, a major aviation industry event where the company shows off regular aircraft.

Boeing CEO Kelly Autoberg testified before the US Senate on April 2, 2025. He reportedly cancelled plans to attend the Paris Air Show this year.

“This accident is a further challenge,” Goerz said.

According to Boeing, the Dreamliner is popular on international routes, with the 787-8 configuration suitable for up to 248 passengers.

The NTSB told CNN on Friday that investigators are hoping to be in India within the next few days.

Jeff Guzzetti, president of consulting firm Guzzetti Aviation Risk Discovery and former NTSB employee, said these investigations usually bring together all technical experts and organize “organizational meetings” reminiscing about his own experiences with the accident.

He said that “forms specialized groups” assigned to analyze various areas such as engines and flight data recorders. “They put representatives from the various organizations of these groups, systematically document the wreckage and begin downloading recorders.”

The conflict is under the jurisdiction of the International Civil Aviation Organization, the United Nations civil aviation organization that helps 193 countries cooperate on air travel.

Guzzetti said the investigation is in the fact-finding stage., It includes cleanup of the wreckage and interviews with people who trained pilots. He said the background of the captain and first mate can be seen. This could range from what they got sleep to what their flight record looks like, he said.

At this point, according to many experts, black box recovery is important. Because technology points out what the pilot was saying before making My Day’s call.

“This won’t be a mystery for more than a week if you record data. The voice recorder also explains how the pilot thought he was handling it. “Pilots sometimes make mistakes.

The Senate maintains provisions that suppress court orders in the Trump bill

0

Some of Trump’s fellow Republicans said they wouldn’t support the provisions if they knew it was in a measure passed at home, but that remains in the legislative Senate draft.

play

  • The Senate version of Trump’s legislative priorities maintains a provision that says experts threaten the enforcement of court orders against the government.
  • Trump complains that the judge is blocking his policies. This provision requires the litigator to post bonds before a judge can enforce the order.

WASHINGTON – A controversial provision in a provision that leads to the House of Representatives package of President Donald Trump’s legislative priorities that warns critics will prevent court orders from enforcing court orders remains in the Senate version of the bill.

Sen. R-Iowa, Sen. Chuck Grassley, head of the Judiciary Committee, released the draft law for June 13th.

Several Republicans in the narrowly divided Congressional Republicans said they oppose the bill over the provisions or would be removed through Congressional operations. However, what is included in the Senate draft reflects the support of leadership to include and advocate.

The law would require litigators to post bonds before the court can enforce the order.

The provision would require judges to collect bonds from litigators challenging the government before blocking policies through injunctions or temporary restraining orders. Without bonds, this provision prevents a judge from enforcing the order through light empty proceedings.

The judge was always able to collect bonds in civil cases to essentially ensure that the defendant will be refunded if he ultimately wins the case. However, judges traditionally do not collect bonds in lawsuits against the government, as disputes go beyond policy, like in cases between two companies.

Trump and his Republican allies want to change that. He signed a memo in March instructing the Department of Justice to seek bonds in all civil cases against the administration.

The judges are temporarily blocking his policies. If laws are enacted, those blocks will be reverted until the judge sets up the bonds.

Bonds could reach trillions of dollars in lawsuits against the government

Legal experts say a judge can set up a nominal bond of $1. But if they set up a larger bond that litigants can’t afford, judges will not be able to enforce their orders and the Trump administration can ignore them, experts said.

In February, US District Judge Lauren Alican requested Trump’s White House Office of Management and Budget to request bonds from nonprofits when the government stopped freezing all federal grants. She said it was just how much it was suffering from the incident, but that OMB would not suffer financial damage from the incident, so it might take trillions of dollars.

“The court will decline,” Alican wrote.

Some of the GOP lawmakers who opposed the homemade bill’s provisions they had not noticed, said

If the Senate changes the law, the House must again vote for the bill. Some GOP lawmakers are opposed to regulations at the noisy city hall.

R-Nebraska MP Mike Flood said on May 27 that he was unaware of the provisions and did not support it when he voted for the bill. The House voted on the bill with a vote of 215-214, so the potential loss of support could undermine the bill’s chances.

R-Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst said on May 30 that the bond clause “is not the case” in the Senate-approved bill.

Heggs says the Pentagon has a “contingent” plan to invade Greenland

0

play

Defense Secretary Pete Hegses said the Pentagon has plans for multiple “contingencies” in Greenland, including an island invasion.

“The Pentagon has an accidental number of plans,” said Heggs, who was asked at the House Armed Committee Committee on June 12, when he was asked at the hearing to see if there were plans to invade Greenland.

“Is it your testimony today that the Pentagon has plans to invade or invade Greenland?

“We look forward to working with Greenland to ensure we are protected from potential threats,” Hegses said.

President Donald Trump refused to eliminate the power in his pledge to “get Greenland,” but he said it was not necessary. He argues that the acquisition of Greenland is necessary for national security, citing the growing influence of China and Russia in the region. The island is also rich in important minerals that the United States wants to challenge China’s monopoly in some industries, USA Today reports.

During a marching visit to Pituffik Space Station, a US base in Greenland, Vice President JD Vance accused Denmark of “failing” to protect the Arctic Island, and downplayed the threat of forcing Trump to take over the threat.

The Danish leaders pushed back. “The United States does not take over Greenland. Greenland belongs to the Greenlanders,” Danish Prime Minister Mette Fredericksen said after Vance’s visit.

With its latest snub to Denmark and other European allies, the Pentagon reportedly plans to move the island’s oversight from US European Command to US Northern Command.

Israeli air defense system has been explained and visualized

0

CNN

Iran retaliated against Israel following Israel’s attacks on Iran’s military and nuclear targets on Friday morning local time. As tensions rise in the Middle East, Israel will once again turn to its large-scale air defense system, including the iron dome, David’s slings and arrow systems, to protect its citizens.

Missile defense systems are one of the most important tools in Israel’s arsenal, and have saved countless civilian lives in various conflicts over the past decade, analysts say.

Development of Iron Dome was first launched in 2007. After testing in 2008 and 2009, the first iron dome battery was deployed in 2011. The system has since been upgraded several times.

The iron dome is designed to shoot down incoming projectiles. It is equipped with radars to detect rockets, and then uses a command and control system that quickly calculates whether an incoming projectile poses a threat or could hit an unstoppable area. If a rocket poses a threat, the iron dome launches missiles from the ground and destroys them in the air.

For those on the ground, direct interception sounds like a loud cry, and sometimes you can feel it from the ground.

According to Raytheon and the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Israel has 10 iron dome batteries, each containing 3-4 launchers. The system is very transportable and requires only a few hours to set up. Additionally, the missile interceptor itself is very maneuverable. They are 3 meters (nearly 10 feet), and are long. Approximately 6 inches (15 cm) in diameter; Security Analysis Group IHS Jane said in 2012.

The warhead is believed to carry 11 kilograms of high explosives, Ihs Jane said. Its ranges from 4 km to 70 km (2.5 to 43 miles).

During the war, the cost of operating iron domes can rise rapidly. Each missile costs around $40,000, which adds up thousands of incoming rockets.

The US government has spent more than $2.9 billion on the Iron Dome program, according to Congressional Research Services.

Average IRA balance in 2025 may surprise you

0

play

Unfortunately, many people have retired and retired, with little money saved and relying on social security to achieve their goals. And while there is no problem with having these benefits, it forms part of your retirement income, but should not represent all or most of them.

Rather, it is important to save enough for retirement so that you can cover your expenses without constant worry. And in that respect, an IRA is a retirement account worth making the most of it.

The good thing about IRAS is that anyone with an income can provide funds. With a 401(k) plan, you may be out of luck if the company you work for is not offering.

You may be interested in knowing how your IRA balance compares to today’s average. To that end, Fidelity has new data on IRA balance. But you may not like what you see.

IRA balance is down

As of the first quarter of 2025, the average IRA balance was $121,983, says Fidelity. This is down 4% from the fourth quarter of 2024.

That said, this is a 23% increase from the first quarter of 2020. Therefore, this indicates that the decline in the IRA balance earlier this year is likely due to stock market volatility.

What if I’m not satisfied with my IRA balance?

If your IRA balance is close to $121,983, you may be in panic. Please do not.

First, be aware that $121,983 is the average IRA balance for all age groups. If you are 32, you cannot compare yourself to an IRA saver who is 59. They have spent more years contributing to their savings and growing their money.

Cultivating an IRA can be more difficult than doing it on a 401(k). For one thing, 401(k) is funded by payroll deductions. With an IRA, you will need to actively send it to your account each month, unless you can set up automatic forwarding. It can make it difficult to be consistent.

Additionally, the 401(k) generally comes with an employer match. There are no workplace matches in the IRA to boost your savings.

Still, if you’re not happy with where you’re today, there are steps you can take to expand your IRA balance.

First, make sure you are properly invested in your age. If you’re a few decades away from retirement, we recommend placing the majority of your IRA in stock.

The good thing about IRAS is that it allows you to hold shares in individual companies. This allows you to truly customize your portfolio. With 401(k), it is generally limited to a variety of funds. This means that you may have less to say about how your money is being invested.

Another way to increase your IRA is to assess your spending and see if there is room to reduce costs. Until you have a few recent months of bank and credit card statements, combed and combed, and then look closely at each line item, there may not be a very obvious solution. If you can add $50 a month for your IRA, it will only help your balance grow even more over time. You can also use that money to fund your IRA in search of extra income from the gig economy.

And finally, see if you can automate your contributions. Many accounts allow you to do this by removing the temptation to spend money that you think is saved by receiving your payments when your IRA funds will land from the BAT.

Even if today’s IRA balance is lower than fidelity, lower, or equal, it’s never painful to try to get better. But remember that IRA balance can be moved based on market conditions. So, if you know that your IRA balance is a little lower than it was earlier this year, don’t do it too well.

This weekend, Washington, DC’s National Mall will host the largest military parade in the United States in decades, filling dramatic elevated roads with thousands of soldiers, tanks, parachute jumpers, artillery and vintage war planes.

According to military representatives and administration, the event on Saturday, June 14th is to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the US Army. The date also coincides with President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday and flag day. With no similar events currently being announced, it is unclear whether the US Navy and Marines will acquire their own Parade Spectaki for their 250th birthday this fall.

The parade concludes a week of programming designed to showcase the country’s military power, with Army equipment, elevated roads, musical performances and thousands of soldiers dressed in uniforms of the past and present. Earlier this month, Trump posted a short video address about the true social parade, inviting Americans to what they call “unforgettable” celebrations.

How much does DC Military Parade cost?

The pageantry comes with a price tag.

Officials initially estimated the Army’s birthday festival and parades ranged between $25 million and $45 million, but as reported previously, the Army’s latest estimate was $40 million.

The Army Corps of Engineers told USA Today that it “doesn’t expect any damage” to the roads in the country’s capital for the parade. However, if damage occurs, Army officials managing the event said the Army will be responsible.

When is the DC Military Parade?

The day will begin around 8:15am on ET and be held at a ceremony led by the SEC, decorated with wreaths. Defensive Pete Hegses at Arlington National Cemetery. It will be streamed live here and then the entire day events will be held, ending with an evening parade and a display of fireworks. The parade will be streamed live alongside several other events and concerts.

Organizers say the queue begins at 6:30 pm ET.

You will appear in court

Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, appeared in federal court on Friday and appeared to support Sean “Diddy” Combs in his federal sex crimes trial.

Wearing an all-white ensemble, he returned to Combs’ heyday as a host of an infamous star-studded white party, he was filmed on Friday, June 13th at the United States Courthouse in Manhattan.

With additional video footage shared by TMZ and XXL Magazine outside federal court, you welcomed Combs’ youngest son, Christian “King” Combs.

Since you were not in the main court, you went instead to the secondary overflow room, which the court opened. He sat there within ten minutes and saw a bit of testimony before leaving the overflow room. It is not clear whether he left the court or was taken to a major court.

His arrival is the day when Combs’ ex-girlfriend “Jane” said he was flying to a birthday party on another rapper’s private jet. During cross-examination earlier this week, Combs’ defense attorney Geragos described the person as a top and highly successful rapper in the music industry, with Icon having previously recorded on Combs and having a close personal relationship with him.

The rapper and fashion designer are one of the only vocal supporters of combs in Hollywood, and perhaps the most famous person, coinciding with the founder of the disgraceful bad boy record.

The 55-year-old Comb was arrested in September and charged with sex trafficking, assault and transporting to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty.

Controversial throughout their careers, Ye and Combs have crossed since their September arrest by Combs federal authorities, even if they remained in the Brooklyn prison.

In an amended complaint filed in California and obtained by USA Today in October, a month after Combs’ arrest, the former boss claimed that he touched, gripped, loved, grabbed, clenched and forced her on multiple occasions without her consent.

In the filing, Pisciotta detailed the alleged sexual assault incident. He said it happened before she started working for YE.

The complaint allegedly found Piciotta adorned with a drink woven with unidentified drugs, causing her to be “seriously disabled.” Pisciotta said she woke up the next day, not recalling what had happened.

You were the diddy song featuring the northwest, released before the trial.

The song, posted to X and later deleted online by Ye, was released in March.

The track “Lonely Roads” still features Sunshine To To Sunshine. Combs, Ye and his 11-year-old daughter North West share with Kim Kardashian, his ex-wife and reality TV star. The song also features a Christian comb.

“I just want to thank you for taking care of my children. ‘Because no one will reach out to me / No one call me, do you know what I’m saying?” Combs said in the song on the slap phone, which appears to have been recorded from a Brooklyn prison. “No one knows what I’m saying?”

“And that meant that I knew what I was saying, so you reached out to them and took them under your wings while I was in this (institution),” the phone continued, according to lyrics posted by Genius of Online Music Ensachtyre Company.

Immigrant Raids and the US Economy

0

good morning! It’s Daniel de Vis with your daily money. Happy Consumer Friday! But first, let’s talk about immigration.

From gas stations in Phoenix to construction sites in Tallahassee, the cross-country workplace raids are wary of businesses who suddenly find themselves at the intersection of Trump administration’s immigrant crackdown.

The sudden rise in immigration enforcement activities is usually the departure of federal authorities who avoid chasing businesses.

Immigration, California, the US economy

The Trump administration has also stepped up deportation efforts in California, featuring immigrant raids at restaurants, traffic stops and routine legal check-in.

The effort, popular with voters in polls, has sparked protests. In the long run, economists warn that this could mean fewer immigrants, prompting labor shortages and slowing economic growth.

“Big and Beautiful Invoice” Supports the Rich

According to a new analysis by Congressional Budget Office, the law called “One Big Beautiful Bill” by President Trump will increase the resources of middle and top earners at the expense of low-income Americans.

Over the period from 2026 to 2034, nonpartisan CBOs analyzed the combined effects of tax cuts on the House bill and reductions in federal programs, including Medicaid and nutrition support. The mega bill is currently in the Senate considering changes.

The analysis found.
