Trump vows to oppose the “radical left” for the murder of Charlie Kirk

Trump said he was “filled with grief and rage,” and vowed in a recorded speech to “find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity.”

Calling assassinated conservative influencer Charlie Kirk “a martian of truth and freedom,” President Donald Trump attacked the “radical left” on September 10, stating that his intense rhetoric is “directly responsible for the terrorism we see in our country today.”

In a four-minute live address posted on his true social platform, Trump sits in an oval office – said he was “full of sadness and anger over Kirk’s vicious assassination” earlier in the day at a college campus in Utah.

For Trump, Kirk’s murder was personal. The young Firebrand, 31, is Trump’s solid political ally, who promoted his political comeback in January and helped him return to the White House. He made a red “Make America Great Again” on stage when he was shot once in the neck while talking to students as part of the “America Comeback Tour.”

He portrayed Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, an organization that promotes conservative politics on high school and university campuses.

Authorities are still looking for someone to take charge. FBI director Kash Patel said the person interested in X was in FBI custody but was later released.

“Charlie is a patriot and dedicated his life to the cause of public debate and the United States of America, where he loved so much,” Trump said. “He fought for freedom, democracy, justice, Americans. He is a martial artist of truth and freedom.”

“Devilize people you don’t agree with.”

Trump then turned his rage to those who believe he is responsible, repeating his familiar reprimands that denounce liberals for violence against his Magazine supporters for their public criticism.

“It’s been a time since all Americans and the media are facing the fact that violence and murder are the tragic consequences of demonizing people who oppose you every day, each year, in the most hateful and despicable ways possible,” Trump said.

The president did not broach conservative subjects, including Kirk, that he has often attacked Trump’s liberals and opponents in similar ways.

But he said, “For many years, radical left-wingers have compared great Americans like Charlie with Nazis to the worst mass murderers and criminals in the world. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism we see in our country today and we must stop it now.”

Trump cited him as evidence of his assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania in July 2024, his recent attack on ICE agents, the 2017 shooting of then-majority leader Steve Scalise, and “the malicious murder of medical enforcement agencies on the streets of New York.”

Trump vowed that his administration would “find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and other political violence.

“Charlie was America’s best, and the monsters that attacked him were attacking our entire country,” Trump said. “The assassin tried to silence him with a bullet, but he failed because together, ensuring that his voice, his message and his legacy will continue to live for countless generations to come.”

Qatar bombing tests the limits of the Trump Netanyahu alliance

play

WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 (Reuters) – Four months ago, President Donald Trump met with Qatar leaders, praised his gorgeous palace and signed a fundamental defence agreement with the Gulf Monarchy, the key ally that hosts the largest US base in the Middle East.

Israel’s surprise attack on Tuesday on Hamas leaders in Doha shook the relationship, angered Trump and elicited fierce criticism from Doha and its western allies.

Ordered by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, targeting the political offices of Palestinian extremist groups, the strike killed Qatari security agents and five other people, but failed to kill Hamas leaders. Trump said he was “very unhappy about every aspect of Israeli operations.”

But for all Dig stations, a strike is unlikely to change the president’s basic approach to Israel, analysts and US officials say. If anything, the bombing underscored the cold calculus under Trump Netanyahu’s relationship.

Israel shows that it is not afraid to oppose our interests. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s administration did not formally warn Washington about the impending bombing campaign on Tuesday, US officials said.

That lack of warning reminded me of Israel’s attack on Hezbollah. Without notifying then-President Joe Biden, Israel injured thousands of extremist groups in a pager where Israel was trapped in a booby.

Trump, on his part, occasionally expressed his dissatisfaction with Netanyahu. However, his administration strongly supported Israel’s campaign to undermine Hamas and allowed him to lead key issues such as Iran’s nuclear program.

“I think Trump is plagued by Netanyahu’s tactics on this,” said Aaron David Miller, a senior fellow at the Carnegie Fund for International Peace and U.S. Peace Negotiations for Veterans.

But Miller says, “(Trump’s) instinct is that Hamas agrees with Netanyahu’s notion that as a military organization, it cannot simply be hollowed out. It means that it needs to be fundamentally weakened.”

Requested for comment, the White House introduced Trump to his true society statement on Tuesday night, telling Reuters that the bombing would not advance our or Israeli interests.

“However, Trump wrote, “It is a valuable goal to eliminate Hamas, who benefited from the misery of those living in Gaza.”

The Israeli Embassy in Washington did not respond to a request for comment.

There is no rupture

Some analysts refused to rule out the possibility that Netanyahu would still exhaust Trump’s patience if he brought even more surprises in Washington. In reality, it could mean the withdrawal of political cover against Israel’s continued invasion of Gaza.

Israel’s military campaign in the Palestinian enclave was triggered by a Hamas-led rampage in southern Israel on October 7, 2023.

“They are doing so now because his Arab friends complain to him about what Israel is doing – he might tell them a reliable plan to replace Hamas that runs Hamas the next day in Gaza.

Israel’s strike on Doha could curb Trump’s hopes for Gulf countries to join the Abraham agreement to join more Gulf countries. This is a groundbreaking agreement mediated by his first administration, where several Arab countries developed diplomatic relations with Israel.

Still, a burst between the two men appears unlikely, says Michael Oren, a former US ambassador to Israel, thanking Trump for his strength and dealings to end the war.

“If Netanyahu can continue to appeal to both sides of this president, he will be fine. I’m not worried about the relationship,” Oren said.

It’s hot and cold

The Trump Netanyahu partnership has seen its ups and downs, authorities acknowledge.

“It’s been hot and cold since the campaign,” said a senior White House official.

In May, Trump traveled Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates during his first major foreign trip, skipping Israel, which many analysts considered a snub. The Republican president took office in January and has pledged to reinvigorate relations with Netanyahu, which had deteriorated under his Democratic predecessor.

During that trip, Trump agreed to lift sanctions against the new Syrian government at the request of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. It warned Israeli officials questioning the motivations of former al-Qaeda commander, Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharara.

However, just a month later, the Trump Netanyahu Alliance appeared to be back on track. After Israel launched an air force with Iran in June, Trump campaigned to end foreign conflicts, but even some of his own political allies were surprised by sending B-2 bombers to partially destroy Iran’s major nuclear facilities.

If it produced goodwill within Netanyahu’s administration, it would not benefit Trump’s foreign policy interests, at least in the short term.

A few days later, Trump blasphemed Iran and Israel for breaking a US-brokered ceasefire. In July, the US appeared to be criticizing Israel’s strike in Damascus, which destroyed parts of Syria’s defense ministry. And on Tuesday, Israel notified the US just before Qatar’s strike but had no coordination or approval with Washington, two U.S. officials said.

“The United States can make decisions by asking Israel to cajole to make decisions,” said Jonathan Panikov, former deputy US national intelligence officer in the Middle East. “But Netanyahu will continue to act as if he sees it as Israel’s greatest interest.”

After 9/11, America received global support. Trump changed that.

0

From Argentina to the former Yugoslavia, even Moscow, the world has been in the United States since 9/11. Trump and time have changed that.

play

  • Almost every country in the world declared that it was standing with the United States in the wake of the 2001 September 11 attack.
  • Since then, the tragedy-forged alliance has been broken.
  • Trump’s trade diplomacy and belief in harsh tariffs have accelerated several ongoing global trends.

It is now the world of Donald Trump and a lonely place.

Twenty-four years ago, the first foreign leader to reach out to President George W. Bush in the wake of the devastating 9/11 attacks in New York and Washington, Russia’s new president, President Vladimir Putin, provided the will and help of sadness. The NATO Alliance first called Article 5, calling it an attack on all of them.

Almost every country in the world, from Argentina to the former Yugoslavia, declared it was standing with America.

Since then, the tragic alliance has been destroyed by the long wars in Iraq and the rapid upheavals in the Middle East, the revival of “America First” populism, and the sharpest US tariffs in almost a century, trading presidents and time passes.

That’s not a surprise. Over a quarter century, national interests change and foreign alliances change.

However, the anniversary of the most deadly terrorist attacks in modern history reminds us of how successful the global campaign against terrorism has been China’s rise as a US immobility among the countries that were closest partners, and how successful it has been by China’s rise.

Think of Canada, a friend since the end of the war in 1812. He is currently trapped in a trade war with his Southern neighbors. It’s become so bitter that Canadian bars have removed Kentucky bourbon from the shelf.

“It appears we’ve lost India and Russia.”

A week before the 9/11 anniversary, another indication of how time is changing, Chinese leader Xi Jinping had not only Putin but also India’s prime minister Narendra Modi – touting his intimacy with Trump at a Chamie meeting in Shanghai. It was my first visit to China in seven years.

In a social post of ironic truth beforehand, Trump asked XI to “please my warm respect for Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong un.

He then posted again. “We seem to have lost India and Russia to the deepest and darkest China,” he wrote. “May they have a long and prosperous future together!”

The president’s tone was chuckling, but he had acknowledged the gravity pull of India, the world’s largest democracy and the country Washington had long tried to nurture. On September 9, Trump announced upcoming trade talks with “my very good friend, Prime Minister Modi”, but the 50% tariffs that the US slapped in India have made those efforts tense.

To its surprising, North Korean and Iranian leaders also attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Conference. So did the people of their allies Egypt, Türkiye and Vietnam.

Trump is not responsible for long-term trends such as Beijing’s resolve to rival the US in global influence, or Putin’s evolution against established authoritarians with expandist ambitions.

However, he accelerated these trends and reversed others with his brand of trade diplomacy. With two non-consensual terms, his influence lasted for the president’s longest time since Franklin D. Roosevelt.

For the first eight months of his second term, Trump pushed for a rethinking of the NATO alliance. European countries have moved to increase defence spending and take away more leadership in Ukraine’s defense against Russia, assuming that the US role is no longer reliable.

Trump accused South Africa of alienating Brazil by defending the former president, attempting to overturn a legitimate election, and accusing South Africa of abusing white citizens. He ordered a military strike against Iran’s nuclear facility and a boat suspected of having a drug disorder born from Venezuela.

Now in power for 25 years, Putin has been annoying Trump by intensifying the war in Ukraine, without negotiating the peace that Trump promised during his campaign last year. In August, the two-leader summit in Alaska was shortened, with bilateral and trilateral talks nowhere on the horizon since Trump was told.

Giuliani was rejected and the Taliban returned

This year, on the morning of September 11th, the president will take part in observing a gloomy anniversary at the Pentagon, one of the places where hijacked commerve planes crashed. A total of nearly 3,000 people have been killed in the Pentagon in the countryside of Pennsylvania and, more than anything, the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York.

In a 20th anniversary USA Today/Suffolk University poll, most Americans said the attacks had forever changed lives in the United States.

Trump travels to New York for a Yankees night game, including a memorial.

Several things have changed over the past 24 years. I don’t have some.

The Yankees are currently competing for the American League pennant just like they did in 2001. Bush was a declaration of normalcy at Yankee Stadium, which ditched the first pitch in the World Series game a few weeks after September 11th.

Rudy Giuliani, who exalted as “American mayor” for leadership after 9/11, has been banned from practicing law in New York and Washington after spreading false information to try to overturn Trump’s defeat in the 2020 election. Trump announced he is planning to award the Presidential Medal of Freedom after Giuliani was injured in a car accident in New Hampshire.

The Taliban ruled Afghanistan even after the longest war in America.

And terrorism? It is still a global threat.

9/11 Responder fears RFK Jr. CDC Chaos will curb future health care

0

play

  • Supporters on 9/11 say the World Trade Center’s health program is suffering under the leadership of President Trump’s second administration and US health and welfare secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
  • 9/11 Retired NYPD Det. Richard Volpe fears his watch will run out. “I’ll kill me in the end,” said his rare kidney disease Volpe. “I have a lot of concern with my family.”

Soon, the 2,983 names familiar to residents of the Lower Hudson Valley in New York will be read aloud on September 11, 2001 at Zero above ground. Speech and prayer include a pledge to “never forget.”

Meanwhile, the World Trade Centre’s health program has advocated a warning as 9/11 responders continue to die from ground zero toxic exposures. Survivors, including those who lived, worked, or went to schools in Lower Manhattan, face similar illnesses.

James Zadroga Founded as part of the 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, the WTC Health Program offers screening and treatment for diseases and disorders classified as occurring several months after the exposure on September 11, 2001.

Among the issues, the status of long-term research including coverage of the World Trade Center’s health programme for conditions such as cancer and autoimmune disorders, which appear to have a higher incidence among the 9/11 community.

There is no delay weight for 9/11 survivors like the retired NYPD DET. Richard Volpe developed a rare autoimmune disease that led to one kidney transplant. About 13 years after the first implant, Volpe said he was terrified about when his new kidney would fail.

“It’s going to kill me in the end,” said Volpe, who has not received the benefits or illness support from the WTC Health Program. “There’s a lot of concern in the family: the fact that they have a wife and two beautiful daughters.”

The WTC Program Provides Important Promise

The World Trade Center’s Health Program is administered by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health or NIOSH, which is part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC,) in the United States.

More 9/11 responders died from exposure to toxins swirling in the air after September 11, 2001. The terrorist attacks were killed that day in the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Approximately 140,000 first responders and survivors are enrolled in the WTC Health Program. Last year, 10,000 people signed up, and similar numbers are expected to join the program in 2025.

Retired FBI agent Thomas O’Connor responded to the pentagon within 15 minutes of the jetliner hitting it. Politicians support the 9/11 community, he said, but what about now?

The WTC Health Program is small and relies on other departments such as NIOSH and CDC to work on grants, research, and compensation approvals. The reduction in these branches of HHS cascades and damages the effectiveness of the WTC Health Program, proponents say.

Amid the rounds of cuts, repairs and acquisitions, WTC Health Program staff has fallen to around 80 employees.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration and HHS leadership are committed to protecting the WTC health program and its mission.

“There’s continuity in that program,” U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said at a Congressional hearing on May 14th on reductions in HHS, including the WTC Health Program.

Information lockdown?

Nurturing chaos is a power outage of more than seven months from the WTC Health Program, which says it is suffering under the second administration of President Trump and Kennedy leaders.

A HHS spokesman refused to overage information. According to HHS, the program has accepted, reviewed and processed new registration applications and certification requests, and the information ban was lifted in February.

911 Health Watch executive director Benjamin Chevat disputes the lifting of the ban or “temporary hiatus.”

But, according to Chevat, communication failures are just part of the HHS issues challenging the WTC health program.

Loss of staffing and lack of research into 9/11-related illnesses plagued the program.

“The problem isn’t just communication failure. The problem is that seven months later (Kennedy’s tenure) has no impact on 9/11 responders and survivors,” Chevat said.

Supporters: Antithesis of WTC Programme “waste, fraud, abuse”

Under the banner of addressing waste, fraud and abuse, the WTC Health Program faces several cuts, including government efficiency, or a February plan announced by Doge, run by Elon Musk.

“Individuals with 9/11-related conditions do not need to rely on repeated uproars from the public and the media to owe the care they desperately need under the law,” New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and Charles Schumer wrote in an August 5 letter to Kennedy warning of delayed treatment.

Former US Congressman Peter King said the WTC Health Program was in the wrong place. The Long Island Republicans co-hosted the Zadroga Act and defended the re-authorization in 2015.

“I’ve been with the government for 50 years,” he said, working for the Legislature from 1993 to 2021, before serving as Nassau County Commissioner and at the Hempstead Town Council. “There’s waste, fraud, abuse.”

However, King called the WTC Health program “scandal-free.”

“This program works,” he said. “It’s a life and death program.”

King believes Trump and Kennedy should not be aware of the impact of the HHS policy on 9/11 responders facing illness.

“I want them to attract media attention and take them to the president in front of the president,” King said. “It will be resolved in 10 minutes.”

At just 33, a rare autoimmune disease attacked the 9/11 responder’s kidney

Volpe was a NYPD detective in the drug division on September 11, 2001. He was assigned to Ground Zero and Staten Island landfills for the next six months.

In June 2003, kidney biopsy showed that IgA nephropathy, an autoimmune disorder that can cause kidney damage. Within a year, he lost 60% of his kidney function.

According to the National Kidney Foundation, this rare disorder affects about 1 in 100,000 people, leading to kidney failure in about 1 in 5 within 10 years of diagnosis.

The WTC Health Program supports the respiratory and digestive issues he has developed to be an approved illness. However, autoimmune disorders like IGA have not yet gone through a full coverage approval process, so his personal insurance covers those treatments and medications.

Volpe, his doctors, and 9/11 supporters have been exploring decades to acquire autoimmune disorders, such as the WTC Health Program’s cover.

Volpe, who currently lives in Florida, admits that the government can move at a glacial pace. But now progress is completely frozen.

“It was just a slow roll,” he said.

Volpe’s focus is on the family at the moment.

In 2001, he was 33 years old and single. He then chose pension benefits that suited his lifestyle.

“I wasn’t even thinking about getting married,” he said. Currently 57, he is married and is “magically older dad” to two girls, ages 10 and 7.

“They haven’t got my pension,” he said. And he fears that if his autoimmune disorder is not covered by the WTC Health Program, they won’t get 9/11-related death benefits.

Former FBI agents can’t get cardiac compensation

Thomas and Jean O’Connor are former FBI agents and spouses. On September 11, 2001, Thomas arrived at the pentagon within 15 minutes of American Airlines Flight 77 crashing into the building. Jean O’Connor was in Quantico that day and responded again.

Tom O’Connor recalls his first 24 hours. They sifted through the black smoke while the building was still burning. They then worked on a 15-hour shift.

Jean O’Connor was the team leader in Evidence Recovery and worked with Debris to clear FEMA’s search and rescue team. When her team finds the human remains, they will document the location, put them in a body bag, and then the honorable guard will carry the bodies in a dignified way.

O’Connor, as a leader of the FBI Agents Association, advocated the inclusion of the crash site in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, in the WTC Health program. However, when he had a heart attack in July, he didn’t immediately consider 9/11 a contributing factor.

The WTC Health Program has not advanced research into cardiac health connectivity, which may cover costs and treatment. “I guess not or not,” Tom O’Connor said, “But either way, they should look at the research and paperwork and make a decision.”

Jean O’Connor, now 62, has not developed any 9/11-related illnesses. In addition to heart problems, 61-year-old Tom O’Connor has developed a digestive issue that has been documented for possible coverage of the WTC Health Program.

“But we knock on the tree except for something pretty good,” Tom O’Connor said.

In the Pentagon, 125 people were killed in the building and 64 passengers on the plane were killed. Approximately 27 FBI employees have died from 9/11-related illnesses.

However, O’Connor, who retired to West Virginia, believes more deaths should be considered 9/11-related. The delay in classifying more illnesses hurts people, Tom O’Connor said.

He remembered an FBI colleague who developed an autoimmune disease and ended up having to use a wheelchair, which later died. Through her illness, she was unable to obtain assistance from the WTC Health Program, and her family was not able to receive support either because her illness was not certified by the program.

She and her family were financially devastated, O’Connor said, and her children, like university fundraising, were unable to extract the benefits that would come after death when they were on duty.

They also felt dishonorable. “Now, this agent is not on the walls of FBI services,” O’Connor said. “That means a lot to us, law enforcement.”

However, respect for the service must be shown in more ways than just the name of the monument. “We all answered because it was the right thing,” Tom O’Connor said. “The government needs to continue doing the right thing to support these people.”

Charlie Kirk’s murder led to Utah Campus Schuber

Hours after the shooting at Utah Valley University, a machine gun officer patrolled the campus as students began to deal with the shock.

OREM, Utah — The panic and fear that broke out after Charlie Kirk was shot at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University has been shocked and saddened as campus students began to handle the attack.

Hours after the September 10th shooting and campus lockdown, police carrying police patrol the university, blocking the community, leaving a huge bouquet of flowers placed near the famous university sign.

“It’s very shocking because it’s not the real thing,” junior Lancessoust from the university told USA Today. “This doesn’t happen in Utah.”

Soust said he saw a panicked crowd running near where Kirk was talking when the shooting happened.

Sophomore Tyler Knudsen, who went to the event with Perez, recalled “hysteria” when people realized that Kirk had been shot.

“No one should die of something like this,” Knudsen told USA Today, adding that he would like to hear Kirk speak, despite not agreeing with the Conservatives. “It’s a tragedy, whether you support it or not.”

Knudsen and Perez said they were surprised that Kirk’s event had no more security given the controversial speaker and crowd size. They said they had purchased tickets for the event, but when they arrived there were no ticket takers or metal detectors.

Soust said the shooting was terrible, but he wasn’t worried that the shooters were still large and planned to spend the rest of the day in the dorms.

As the day approached the end, police vehicles continued to regulate traffic, lining up curbs lined up with other police agencies’ vehicles from areas on campus.

2027 Ferrari 849 Testarossa plug-in hybrid announced in Milan

0

play

Ferrari Race.mi completed a hybrid range update on Tuesday with the new 849 Testarossa sports car, a homage to the famous original 1980s Testarossa model.

Ferrari has announced a new plug-in hybrid, four-wheel drive, in Milan. This is the car that replaces the 2019 SF90 Stradale with the top of its range. The newer vehicles are also available in the “spider” version with a retractable top.

The 4-liter 8-cylinder turbo engine, which is 830 horsepower, is combined with three electric motors, totaling 1,050 hp, 50 more than the SF90 Stradale. The company said it could have a top speed (205 miles) that exceeds 330 km/h (205 miles) per hour.

The starting price is set at 460,000 euros ($540,000) for the coupe and 500,000 euros for the Spider version, with first delivery scheduled for clients in the second and third quarters of next year, starting in Europe.

Deliveries to US clients are expected to begin at higher prices in about three months due to import duties.

Leading by CEO Benedetto Vigna, Ferrari is rolling out new models while preparing to launch next month to showcase its first electric vehicle.

Vigna has reaffirmed that it will continue to manufacture gasoline and hybrid cars along with the EV, but breaks Ferrari’s tradition of turning petrol engines.

In April, Ferrari launched a new hybrid special and its convertible version, approaching the end of its lifecycle, based on the new Hybrid 296 special and the other hybrid model of the home, the 2021 Ferrari 296.

As part of the usual aggressive path to new model releases, Ferrari unveiled the purely petrol-powered Amalfi Coupe in July, replacing the successful 2019 Rome with an entry segment in its range.

Flags hanging by Trump to honor Charlie Kirk

0

President Donald Trump ordered the flag to be flew half-staffed after the fatal shooting of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk at the Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on September 10th.

Trump ordered national flags to continue flying at half price until September 14th, according to a White House declaration provided to USA Today.

Kirk, 31, was filmed during a question-and-answer session with students. Trump confirmed Kirk’s death in a post about a true society that calls his right-wing character and close allies “great and even legendary.”

Police arrested the two as a result of the shooting, but neither of them have been released and are not considered shooters, authorities said.

“He fought for freedom, democracy, justice and the Americans,” Trump said in a pre-recorded message from an oval office posted on social social late September 10th.

Here’s what you need to know about why the US flag is flying in half staff:

What do you say about the flag code?

According to the US General Services Agency, flags are flew semi-staffed when a country or a particular state is in mourning after a national tragedy or due to the immediate death of a government or military personnel.

According to the Flag Act, the flag should fly at half price for 30 days after the death of the current or former president, for 10 days for the death of the vice president, the Supreme Court justice or retired U.S. Chief Justice, or the Speaker of the House.

Other officials, such as the Supreme Court’s associate judge, Cabinet Secretary, and former Vice President, can fly the flag with semi-staff from the day of their death to intervention. Members of the Congress lowered the flag the day they died and the day after.

The code also allows the President to issue instructions for flying the flag at half price for the “death of another official, former official, or foreign official.”

The governor and the mayor of the District of Columbia may also order a flag flying with half staff in the jursb if a member of the military or “first responder” or district from that state dies in duties.

Can the President lower the flag of civilians?

The US flag code does not mention lowering the flags of non-government officials.

The flag code states that the president can change or change “rules or conventions regarding the display of flags” by declaration.

Flag Code is listed in US code, but according to Congress’ website, it is considered a guideline and does not include enforcement mechanisms.

When did the flag fly with semi-staff before?

The flag was ordered at half price, following major tragedy, including the September 11 attack and the 2012 Newtown School shooting. Trump ordered the flag to be lowered following the August Announcement Church shooting.

The flag was lowered for prominent deaths, including Pope Francis’ death in April, former President Jimmy Carter’s death in December, and Queen Elizabeth’s death in 2022.

play

The New York Yankees were in a moment of silence, reminding them of Charlie Kirk before their game against the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday.

Kirk was shot dead earlier that day at a speaking event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

He was the host of a right-wing talk show that founded Turning Point USA, a conservative youth-centric organization.

He also spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in 2024.

Kirk is President Donald Trump’s ally and confirmed Kirk’s death after a shooting on a university campus.

Trump is scheduled to appear at Yankee Stadium. There, the team is expected to hold a pre-match ceremony to recognize the victims and heroes of 9/11.

Deeper branded frozen vegetables were recalled during the salmonella outbreak

play

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced an expanded recall of frozen vegetables amid the ongoing salmonella outbreak, which has 11 people become ill and four people hospitalized.

The Chetak LLC group first began a recall on multiple lots of frozen beans on July 16 after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) linked the product to the multi-state salmonella outbreak.

The recall was then expanded twice. Once for frozen vegetable products on August 22nd, once for one frozen vegetable product, and again on September 8th, the spread of the bean, fruit and vegetable mix will be covered.

According to an FDA notification, all affected products came from deep brands and were distributed nationwide through retailers and mail orders. An investigation is underway.

Which products are included in the recall?

Originally, the following products were recalled on July 16th:

  • Deep Sprout Mat (MOTH) 16 oz. Lot Codes: 24330, 25072, 25108, 24353, 25171, 24297, 25058, 25078, 24291, 25107, 24354 and 24292
  • 16 oz of deep-brewed moon. Lot Codes: 24330, 25072, 25108, 24353, 25171, 24297, 25058, 25078, 24291, 25107, 24354 and 24292

The next recall on August 22 was expanded as follows:

  • Deep Brand Premium chooses Frozen Sulti Mix in a 12 oz (340 g) package. Used by lot code in25158k and dated December 6, 2026.

The September 8 recall will be further expanded to include a variety of deep brands of frozen fruits and vegetables.

Where did people get sick?

Related salmonella outbreaks are being followed to 11 illnesses and four hospitalizations in the next 10 states.

  • Connecticut
  • Florida
  • Illinois
  • Massachusetts
  • Minnesota
  • New Jersey
  • Pennsylvania
  • Tennessee
  • Virginia
  • Washington

What if I have a recalled product?

Recalled products must be thrown away for a full refund or returned to the location of purchase.

Anyone who has purchased or received a recalled product should carefully clean and disinfect any surfaces or containers that may have been in contact with hot soapy water. If you suspect that you may have become ill as a result of eating contaminated foods, we recommend contacting the FDA with a medical professional.

Symptoms of Salmonella poisoning

Symptoms of Salmonella infection usually begin 6 hours to 6 days after engulfing the bacteria. According to the CDC, the most common symptoms are diarrhea, fever and stomach cramps.

While most healthy people can recover in 4-7 days without treatment, vulnerable people like children under the age of 5, adults over the age of 65, and weakened immune systems can experience more severe illnesses that require treatment or hospitalization.

If you see any of these more serious symptoms, the CDC recommends contacting your healthcare professional.

  • Diarrhea and fever above 102 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Diarrhea for more than 3 days that has not improved
  • Bloody diarrhea
  • There is a lot of vomiting, so it is impossible to control fluids
  • Signs of dehydration, such as not peeing much, dry mouth and throat, and dizziness when standing up

“Like my brother to me,” praises Trump Jr. Charlie Kirk

“Charlie’s work and his voice definitely helped my father win the presidency,” Trump Jr. said. “He has changed the direction of this country.”

  • Donald Trump Jr. explained that the murdered conservative activist Charlie Kirk is like a “brother” to him.
  • Trump Jr. believed that Kirk helped his father win the presidency by inspiring young voters.
  • He said that the only “threat” Kirk posed on was a true, effective messenger, targeted him.

The president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., said Charlie Kirk, the leader of the murdered conservative youth, is more than just a friend. He thought he was family.

“He was like my brother to me and to millions of people around the world — he was a real inspiration,” Trump Jr. said in a long, heartfelt X-Post hours after Turning Point co-founder was fatally shot at an on-campus event in Utah on September 10th.

In a social media post, Trump Jr. praised Kirk, 31, for “reaching the masses” the impact he had on young people. Trump Jr. said Kirk gave those young voters the courage to stand up and think about themselves. Trump Jr. said Kirk’s voice was “imprecise” to help them fight for freedom.

“Charlie’s work and his voice definitely helped my father win the presidency,” Trump Jr. said. “He has changed the direction of this country.”

Trump Jr. reiterated the sentiment of his father, President Donald Trump.

“Even the great and legendary, Charlie Kirk is dead,” the president said in a post on True Society. “I didn’t understand or have the center of the youth of the United States better than Charlie.”

Trump Jr.: It was incredibly effective that only “threat” posed

Despite the occasional controversial rhetoric, Trump Jr. wrote that Kirk is by no means a threat to anyone. He described Kirk’s beloved husband, father, leader and fighter, whose character and beliefs are rare. “A civic and kind person,” Trump Jr. said of Kirk, the person he listened and responded with respect.

“The only ‘threat’ he ever raised was that he was very effective,” Trump Jr. said. “He was a powerful messenger of truth, and people heard the truth. That’s what targeted him.”

Trump Jr. said Kirk’s life was shortened by “brutally, heinous, evil, and evil deeds beyond understanding.” He called it horrifying and heartbreaking.

Trump Jr. said Kirk’s death was an unimaginable loss for those who loved him and the nation. He added that Kirk’s legacy would not end with his death, and activists said that millions of young people were poured into moving forward with the torch he lit up.

Trump Jr. vowed that he would “continue to tell the truth without fear,” and that he would continue Kirk’s spirit of courage.

“Look at peace, brothers,” Trump Jr. said. “You will be overlooked more than the words can say, but your legacy will never be forgotten and we will continue to fight a good fight.”

Social Security is just 90 years old, and it is a key programme, lifting around 22 million people above the poverty line according to budget and policy priorities. A spectacular 56% of respondents to the 2025 National Retirement Institutions Social Security Survey said they would not survive financially if they missed half of their Social Security payments.

So, what exactly are these benefits? Now, the overall average monthly social security benefits for retirees was $2,007 as of July, about $24,000 a year. Below are the average monthly Social Security benefits for people of 65 or other ages as of the end of last year.

However, all of these are average. To understand more clearly how much you I may receive it, but I will set up my Social Security account with the Social Security Agency (SSA).

But all of these numbers may be a bit off. Because while social security programs have been working well for decades, they face some challenges over the next few years. If nothing is done to strengthen social security within a decade (and there are multiple ways to do so), it is estimated that beneficiaries will be reduced by up to 23% in profits.

Worse, the Trump administration’s big, beautiful bill is set to accelerate the depletion of social security funds.

So, you rely on earning Social Security income when you retire, but don’t assume there are plenty of them. Instead, set up other revenue streams and plan on floating.

Donald Trump and Joe Biden reacted after Charlie Kirk was fatally shot

0

play

Politicians across the political spectrum have responded to the shooting death of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk at an event held at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah on September 10th.

Kirk, 31, was filmed during a question-and-answer session with students. The university confirmed the shooting, and President Donald Trump confirmed Kirk’s death in a post on True Society.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox shared that he was briefed by law enforcement after the shooting at X and that “any political persuasion Americans must unite in condemning the law.”

Before announcing Kirk’s death, Trump posted about the truth social.

Trump said the conservative commentators “had a center of the youth of the United States.”

Vice President JD Vance posted on the platform prior to the announcement of Kirk’s death, first asking for Kirk’s prayer, and then added, “Dear God, I will protect Charlie in his darkest time.”

After the announcement of his death, Vance wrote, “Lord, give him eternal rest.”

Before leading the House room in a moment of silence, House Speaker Mike Johnson told reporters, “We ask everyone to pray for him and his family. … This should hate what happened.”

“Political violence has become so common in American society that it’s not us,” Johnson said. “It has to stop. We need all political figures. We need everyone who has a platform to say this loud and clear. We can resolve differences and conflicts in a civil way, political violence must be called, and it must stop.”

Senator John Tune said in X “We don’t have a country for political violence. A period, a complete halt.”

House majority leader Steve Scullies survived the shootings by political critics and called Kirk’s murder “heartbreaking.” He called himself “sad and sick of it.”

“Charlie has built the movement by travelling around the country and encouraging young people to engage in thoughtful, peaceful political discourse,” Scullyse said. “He never sinks from differences. Instead, he shared the value of having a civil conversation with students and people who have different opinions. More needs today.”

Democrat leaders have condemned the shooting, saying that political violence is unacceptable.

“An attack on Charlie Kirk is disgusting, sleazy and condemned,” California Gov. Gavin Newsom wrote to X: “In the United States, political violence must be rejected in all ways.”

Democratic Gov. JB Pritzker’s fellow wrote that “it should never be the norm” on the same platform as political violence.

Congressional Democrats reflected that message on social media.

“There is no place in America for political violence,” wrote Chuck Schumer, Senate minority leader, in X. Hakeem Jeffries, leader of House Minority, added that he “thoughts and prayers are with Charlie Kirk and his family.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, New York, wrote before announcing Kirk’s death:

The four living former presidents each condemned the shooting in separate statements.

Joe Biden said in X, “We have no place in our country for this type of violence. We have to end now.”

“We don’t know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of sleazy violence is not inhabited by our democracy,” Barack Obama said in a statement posted to X.

George W. Bush issued a statement through the Presidential Center saying, “Violence and violence must be expelled from the public square. Members of other political parties are not our enemies. They are our fellow citizens.”

“We all experience some serious introspection and hope to double our efforts to discuss peacefully while being passionately debated,” Bill Clinton said in a social media post.

Experts say 7 things to consider

0

play

If you’re buying a new or used car, USA Today Cars offers these tips to make the most of your test drive.

First, Matt Smith, director of consumer insights at car shopping site Cargurus, always set up bookings with dealers before they even appeared.

“If not, the car you wanted might already be on sale,” Smith said. “And negotiate the prices in advance, and these people are professional negotiators, so write them in advance in writing.

Don’t be afraid to ask any detailed questions about the vehicle, added Ivan Drury, director of insights at edmunds.com. Even the same model can cause dramatic changes from model year to the next year.

“I don’t want to buy a new vehicle in July. I just need to know that the next model year is on sale in September and that there is one feature. Really “This applies to second-hand cars too. If you find the fact that saving money by buying an older version of the same model has missed that little option that can make your life so easy,” Drury said.

Test drives are just as important as negotiations. So here’s how to approach it.

“We’re going to test the stereo, but only for a short time,” Drury said. “On most test drives, silence is golden. You want to hear the amount of noise and road noise that generally enters the cabin. Combine your phone to see if the infotainment system meets your expectations.

Smith has a list of tips to consider when driving a new or used car.

  • How does the car accelerate?
  • Are you feeling strange vibrations?
  • Is that shifting irregularly?
  • Roll the window and listen for the brakes. If you need to replace the brakes, you will hear a metal-on-metal sound, or a creak.
  • Touch all the buttons and make sure you are satisfied with them.
  • Please read YouTube car reviews in advance as they will be included in the technology of the car.
  • Sit in every seat. If you have small children, bring a car seat so that it’s easy to get in and the stroller fits in the trunk. Or ask if you can take your dog with you to see if it fits in the vehicle.

Drury pointed out that bad weather days are good for car shoppers.

“There are fewer people at dealers, and you can drive your car at a time when you need to know what you’re actually into,” Drury said. “Bright sunshine days are great and everything, but new vehicles tend to have less glass for safety reasons, which can lead to more blind spots than you’re used to.”

The opposite is true for a used car. You can see the vehicle spot imperfections as it requires bright days. Still, Drury should drive it in the rain before driving it in the rain. And even if it’s hot outside, we’ll test the heaters, heated seats and heated steering wheel. If it’s cold, try an AC or ventilation/cooling seat.

If you’re buying a new car, preview the options that will help you every time you drive. For example, if the weather in your area is very different, seating with heat or ventilation is great. If you’re not good at parking, cameras can help, Drury said.

Charlie Kirk lamented Phoenix Headquarters in Turning Point

0

The assassination of Charlie Kirk marked a pivotal and life-changing moment for men, women and families who gathered to lament the charismatic conservative leaders at the Phoenix headquarters of the Turning Point movement, which he founded and grew into a national political force.

After Kirk’s death, the strict individuals and young families took off their flowers, shed tears and hugged them. The strangers called each other “brothers” and “sisters,” and asked to kneel and pray and pray, asking Kirk’s wife and her children to heal and comfort them.

They shared how Kirk’s atypical willingness to speak his heart gave them the confidence to stand proud of their faith and morality.

“We live in America. We have the first right to amend free speech. He was killed for that right, but he taught the rest of us that being strong is okay,” Pawnee Carter said.

Carter and others said Kirk’s death felt like a fork moment for conservatives. That is, he said that not following political leftist beliefs could be killed.

Kirk’s murder has been added to the growing list of cases of political violence in the United States, with two democratic Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses fatally shot and killed in June. In July 2024, an attempt was made to assassinate President Donald Trump on the campaign trail.

How Phoenix Mourners Reacted to Charlie Kirk’s Kirk’s Killer

In Phoenix, some mourners denounced the Democrats. Some people criticized the media.

“Your fault, you spread hatred!” shouted at the reporter’s line as a woman drove in the complex of a turning point building near the Arizona Grand Resort.

Mike Hood, who dropped the white roses the moment Kirk’s death was announced, pointed to malicious rhetoric and those willing to call each other “Nazis” and bravely.

“It’s coming to my head,” Hood said.

Jacob Kaufman, 24, brought flowers after cutting work, said “whether a right-wing activist or a left-wing activist, there is no place for political violence.”

Damon Sommer said it was a scary time to become conservative in America. He came to headquarters to pray against his wife’s wish, fearing that the place would become a target. However, he does not think that Kirk’s death will silence conservatives from speaking their minds. Rather, it would awaken them, he said, and “The baton will be handed over.”

Carter agreed.

“Set one foot in front of the other. You pray and bring that prayer into the street. You move forward with the American flag in your hand, put your gun by your side, and you carry it proudly and loudly,” Carter said. “Because we can’t be ashamed of who we are.”

Carter said she plans to buy another gun, and she suspected that other conservatives too.

She said she hoped Trump would bring National Guard to more cities, hoping that he could serve as a warning to violent actions.

Carter said to his daughter, “I hated them and Jesus. He didn’t begin to become a martian, but he was alone.”

Did the police arrest Charlie Kirk’s shooter? Latest information about suspects

0

play

Police arrested the two in the wake of the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk when they spoke at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University, but both have been released and are not considered shooters, authorities said.

FBI Director Kash Patel initially stated in X that “the subject of today’s horrifying shooting that took Charlie Kirk’s life is currently in custody.” Less than two hours later, he wrote: “The subject in custody was announced after law enforcement interrogation.”

At a press conference following the initial announcement of Patel’s arrest, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said “an interested person” was in custody and was being interviewed. “The suspects are huge,” Utah Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason said at the same press conference.

Cox vowed that the authorities would capture the shooter.

“I want to make this clear to everyone right now. We will find you, we will try you, and we will be accountable to you to the furthest extent of the law,” he said. “And we just want to remind people that there is still a death penalty here in Utah.”

Patel writes to X:

This is something else you need to know.

What happened to Charlie Kirk?

Kirk was addressing thousands of people at an outdoor event on the Oren, Utah campus.

Kirk was rushed to the hospital. President Donald Trump has announced Kirk’s death on social media.

Who was arrested after the shooting?

Authorities arrested the man shortly after the bullet hit Kirk, Mason said at a press conference. He said the human was not matched with the shooting suspect, but was booked on charges of obstructing justice.

Cox later said that the interested person was being detained and interviewed, revealing that the person was not a man booked on charges of obstruction.

Mason said the only information about the suspected shooter comes from security camera footage showing him wearing all the dark clothes. “But there’s no further explanation.”

“We have it, we’re analyzing it, and it’s footage from a security camera, so you can guess what it’s quality,” he said.

He added, “This shot came from here on campus from a possible location from the roof… a longer distance shot from the roof.”

What was the security of the event?

Jeff Long, the university’s police department chief, said about six officers were working at the event, and estimated more than 3,000 attendees. He said several officers were dressed in plain clothes in the crowd, and Kirk was with his own security team.

He said his agency and Kirk’s team will work together to set up security protocols.

“We train these things. You think you’re covered. Unfortunately, they happen,” he said. “You’re going to cover your base, but unfortunately you didn’t do that today. That’s why there was this tragic incident.”

“Special agents and staff from the Salt Lake City Field Office responded immediately,” said Robert Balls, a special agent in charge of the FBI’s Salt Lake City Bureau.

“We have the complete resources to focus on this investigation, including tactics, operations, research and intelligence,” he said. “I know there are a lot of questions. This is a very aggressive case and this is an early stage of the investigation. We follow all the leads and evidence.”

Do the authorities believe the shooter acted alone?

Cox said there was no information that he believes is involved.

Obama blames “deprecating violence” for killing Charlie Kirk

0

Former President Barack Obama condemned the shooting that led to the death of conservative and influential Charlie Kirk on Wednesday, September 10th.

“We don’t know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of sleazy violence has no place in our democracy,” Obama wrote in an X post.

Kirk, 31, was filmed during a Q&A session with students during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

President Donald Trump wrote that the character of the right wing and “not even great and legendary. Vice President JD Vance wrote after the announcement of his death, “Lord, give him an eternal break.”

Former President Joe Biden reflected Obama’s message, saying in X, “We have no place in our country for this kind of violence. We have to end now.”

Other Democrats said California Gov. Gavin Newsom felt “deeply feeling sadness and anger over the horrifying violence.”

“In democracy, ideas are tested through words and honest discussion.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris added that she was “deeply disturbed” by the shooting and that “there is no place in America for political violence.”

“This is something we should hate, what happened,” Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson told reporters before a moment of silence in the room.

“Political violence has become so common in American society that it’s not us,” Johnson added. “We must be able to resolve disagreements and conflicts in a civil way, and we must invoke political violence, and that must be stopped.”

  • Prices range from $39,625 to $57,205, depending on the model.
  • Previously, the optional 5,000 pound towing package became standard.

The 2025 Ford Explorer Midsize SUV introduced new features and lost the less popular one when Three Row Family Hauler hit dealerships in July 2024.

overview

The Explorer is a vehicle that began moving towards medium-sized SUVs when it debuted as a 1991 model. The 2025 model comes in either rear or all-wheel drive.

Under the hood

Explorer comes standard with a 300 horsepower 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The 400 horsepower twin-turbo V6 is an option on the Explorer Platinum and is standard for ST. A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard.

Key new features

In addition to notable external changes for 2025, including new headlights and taillights, grilles, and front and rear fascia, the most meaningful changes are inside, including:

  • The new 13.2-inch touchscreen incorporates Google’s voice recognition, navigation and other features, including the ability to stream games and videos when Explorer is still. It also includes WebEx for video conferencing.
  • Available Bang & Olufsen Audio is audio with up to 14 speakers and a fabric wrapped soundbar that runs across the dashboard to the door, up to 980 watts.
  • The soft vinyl surface has improved the indoor look and feel.
  • High-resolution equipment clusters can view navigation, new brightwork, standard Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
  • Blue Cruises will perform hands-free driving updates such as changing automatic lanes and relocating lanes for more rooms from adjacent vehicles. Also, approaching a sharp curve will slow you down. The system is free for 90 days and then comes with monthly or annual plans.
  • Previously, the optional 5,000 pound towing package was standard.
  • The heated seats are standard on the ’25 model.

The feature is no longer available

  • Automatic parking. A Ford investigation showed that owners rarely use automated parking.
  • A hybrid standalone model sold in a small number. Ford dropped it from the Explorer retail lineup, but continues to offer it with police vehicles that benefit from the ability to power AC and other accessories without running the engine when parking, as patrol vehicles often spend a lot of time.

Trim level and price

  • Active: Rear drive for $39,625. $42,625 AWD
  • Cent Line: $44,285 rear drive. $46,385 AWD
  • Platinum: $51,525 rear drive. $53,525 AWD
  • ST: Rear drive for $55,205. $57,205 AWD

Our Critic’s View

I drove a rear-drive V6 Explorer Platinum with a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine and rear-wheel drive.

On rural highways and surface roads west of Detroit, the 2025 Ford Explorer was smooth and quiet, and powerful enough to accelerate the highway. The Blue Cruise worked well with fast traffic, including some automatic lane changes. I reduced my time on all-wheel drive 2.3L St. Line wheels, drove on dirt roads, gentle off-roading on meadows, and two muddy trucks through the wood.

The new display and interior materials also gave a sense of appearance. Google navigation and smartphone pairing worked well.

Why buy it?

The 2025 Ford Explorer’s Welcome New feature adds functionality to an already excellent medium-sized SUV. It’s a shame there’s no hybrid model.

Main specifications of the test vehicle

  • Output: 400 HP; 415 pound-feet of torque
  • Estimated fuel economy: 18 mpg city/25 expressway/21 sets total. Regular gasoline.
  • Height: 70.2 inches
  • Ground clearance: 8.2 inches
  • Wheelbase: 119.1 inches
  • Length: 198.7 inches
  • Width: 78.9 inches (89.3 with mirror)
  • EPA Passenger Volume: 146 cubic feet
  • Cargo compartment: 16.3 cubic feet behind the rear seat. 46 after two rows. 85.3 behind the front seat.

Travisquels talks about Xavier’s worthy injury and loses the Chiefs in Brazil

0

play

Travis Kelse ended up catching the heat from catching football.

The Kansas City Chiefs star tight end lost to Brazil’s Los Angeles Chargers and took a trip that the team would forget when they opened their season. However, dropping the game wasn’t the only loss.

For the second time in many seasons, the Chiefs recipient was a friendly fire victim. After a hit from Patrick Mahomes in 2024, after a season-ending knee injury from Rassie Rice, Xavier was worthy of a hit from Kelse this time.

He addressed the situation with the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast. Kelse, who said travelling to Brazil was a cool experience outside of the game, was completely accountable for the mistakes.

“I wasn’t ready for that first drive, I met one of my peers and kicked him out of the game,” Kelse said of clashing with values. “I literally took one of the players out. That’s one of the most frustrating parts. It’s hard to get the juice back knowing you’re going to hurt a guy.”

The tight end elaborated on what went wrong in the play.

“I’m supposed to run the route at depth because of its value,” Kelse said. “That’s annoying for me, I was trying to set my guy up and get him in position.

“I just have to get better,” Kelse added. “I’ve been in the league for 13 years, and I have no excuse to come across those kinds of people.

Worthy was diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder in the aftermath of his first week loss and there is no clear timetable for the return.

Coach Andy Reed said the recipients are routine and indicate that they are avoiding surgery for now. Kelse said he doesn’t know how quickly he’ll come back, adding that he is one of the best players on the team.

“I don’t know exactly where he is in his health, but I hope he gets him back as soon as possible because it means so much for this team,” Kelse said.

Worthy’s exit left more than an emotional impact on the team. It also made the Chargers’ defense easier.

“I came across him, and all of a sudden, one of the biggest games plans is out of the game,” Kelse said. “One of the fastest guys in the league – and speed is killed in this league – and now they don’t have to worry about it.”

Kelse noted that he struggled with the rest of the first half after the injury occurred.

“I owe my man a big time,” Kelse said. “X knows that. I felt like (exped). I barely could even play the rest of that first half, but once he realized that he was a better spirit than I had imagined at halftime, we prepared it.”

Worthy’s injuries leave the Chiefs receiver room in a tough spot, especially as they deal with Rice’s suspension in five more games.

Things won’t be easy as past residences remain nothing different and the Chiefs welcome the Philadelphia Eagles into town in their second week of Super Bowl rematch.

Kelse and his crew have to move forward, but perhaps this time they are a little more aware of their surroundings.
