The manufacturer has recalled one of its chocolate male enhancement supplements due to undeclared ingredients that can interact with other medications and lower blood pressure to “dangerous levels.”

USALess.Com’s supplement Rhino Choco VIP 10X contains tadalafil, which is not listed on the product’s packaging, the company said in a notice on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website.

When contacted via email on Monday, March 2, USALess.com said it had no reports of injuries or hospitalizations related to the Rhino Choco VIP 10X recall.

According to the manufacturer, tadalafil is the active ingredient in Cialis, an FDA-approved prescription drug used to treat erectile dysfunction.

Tadalafil is not listed on the packaging of the recalled supplements, but it can be dangerous for people with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease because it can interact with other ingredients in prescription drugs they are taking.

If tadalafil interacts with nitrates found in the prescription drugs these patients take, the manufacturer said, “it could dangerously lower blood pressure.”

Here’s what you need to know about the Rhino Choco VIP 10X recall.

Where were the supplements sold?

Rhino Choco VIP 10X supplement was sold in a black and gold cardboard box. According to the recall announcement, the box contained 12 10-gram supplements. The UPC code is 724087947668 and the expiration date on the back of the product is October 2027.

The products were sold in retail stores and online. The company could not provide USA TODAY with a list of stores affected by the recall.

What consumers need to know when purchasing supplements

For now, the product “will be immediately removed from our online store until we are confident that the issue has been fixed,” the company said in an earlier announcement.

The company said customers who purchased the Rhino Choco VIP 10X must return it for a full refund. You may also contact us at 1-800-872-5377 or 409749@email4pr.com.

Another similar male enhancement supplement has been recalled

This recall was issued just two days after another male enhancement supplement recall for a product called Boner Bears Chocolate Syrup.

Lockout Supplements, a Texas-based manufacturer, recalled its syrup on February 25 because the product contained sildenafil, which is not listed on the product label. The company said sildenafil interacts with nitrates found in some prescription drugs, which can lead to lower blood pressure.

“Lockout has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall to date,” the report states.
