Free coffee? Yes, members of the Starbucks Rewards loyalty program can receive a free tall 12-ounce iced or brewed coffee with the purchase of an eligible drink of equal or greater value on Monday, February 9th (excluding instant drinks and alcoholic beverages).

The new coffee, which will be available in daily brews and to-go packages, is “completely unlike anything we’ve ever made before. You get this very complex, bold coffee, and then you get a very smooth, velvety finish. It’s the best of two worlds,” Sergio Alvarez, a Starbucks coffee developer who joined the company in 2009 as a part-time barista at the Pike Place Market store, said in a news release.
Starbucks’ new pastries are on the menu
Starbucks recently added four new drinks to its menu, including Iced Banana Bread Matcha and Strawberry Shortcake Frappuccino.
Available from Monday 9th February are six new pastries, including Dubai Chocolate Bites, which are chocolate shortbread dough filled with pistachio cream and finished with chocolate drizzle and pistachio crumble. While this pastry and four others will be available year-round, the sixth chocolate pistachio loaf will be available for a limited time this winter.
