McDonald’s faces class action lawsuit over McRib
A group of factory owners has filed a class action lawsuit in Illinois accusing McDonald’s of lying about the ingredients in its McRib.

Nostalgia is all the rage these days, just look at the trend on social media that says 2026 is the new 2016. McDonald’s won’t be left behind. Its latest Happy Meal toys are reminiscent of the late ’80s.
Although the fast food giant has not issued an official news release, Guillaume Huin, the company’s senior marketing director, posted on social media platform
The Transformers-like toy resembles a McDonald’s menu but can be reconfigured into figures such as robots and dinosaurs.
“Changeable was the most requested Happy Meal program on X across social media platforms and customer service,” Huynh said in the post.
Available from Tuesday, January 27th, the toy consists of a collection of 16 characters. “Every design has a name and has a little personality,” said Huynh, who also uploaded a video showcasing the individual changeables featured in Happy Meals.
McDonald’s teased the toy’s return on its Instagram page and Happy Meal page with a note that read, “Changables coming soon to Happy Meals.” Updated the post to include a character’s trading card-like profile.
Commenters on these posts suggest that fans are excited about the toy’s return. One commenter said, “Oh my god these totally bring back childhood memories.”
“Everyone is so excited,” another posted.
Changeables are a collector’s favorite and collections can be found on eBay. A video showcasing some of the toys has been viewed more than 17,000 times.
