Howard Stern declares victory.

On a September 23rd episode of his SiriusXM show, the radio host celebrated the news that ABC had finished Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension. Kimmel’s best friend Stern opposed the suspension on September 22nd, and by the end of the day ABC announced “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Returns to the air.

“Well, it seems I’ve solved another problem,” Stern jokingly announced when his show began.

Stern then played a clip from the news program, explaining that he made a statement to Disney as Kimmelsaga’s “vital” moment.

“All I had to do was mention that I had cancelled my (Disney+) subscription. “Stern told Cohost Robin Quivers, “What should I fix today, Robin? Global Warming?”

Seriously, Stern praised Disney for “doing the right thing,” revealing that he spoke to Kimmel on Monday, but he doesn’t know what the comedian is saying in his return monologue. “I told him I was very pleased that this was resolved,” Stern said.

Stern had said he was canceling his Disney+ subscription in protest against ABC’s parent company, but he told listeners he had no chance to do so before the suspension was lifted.

Later on the show, the caller praised Kimmel’s return for tough achievements, saying the radio hosts are not aware of how influential he is. However, Stern argued that he was “not as strong as you describe,” and said that “many of the people” stepped up to support Kimmel.

“You have to stand up at some point, and I’m happy that a lot of people have done,” he said.

After Disney stopped Kimmel’s show, the Magagang commented that “Magagang” is “deeply trying to characterize this kid who is “killing Charlie Kirk as something other than one of them and doing everything he can to score political points from there.” Tyler Robinson, 22, has been charged with killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk at an event at Utah Valley University.

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Kerr pressured the ABC to take action, claiming that Kimmel misunderstood viewers about Robinson’s politics by suggesting that he was a supporter of President Donald Trump. The network pulled Kimmel’s show out of the air after Kerr said on a YouTube show “It can be done easily or the hard way.”

Disney stopped Kimmel’s show to avoid further inflaming the tense situation in our country’s emotional moments, saying, “Because I felt that some of the comments were badly timed and therefore insensitive.” However, after spending “a last day of thoughtful conversation with Jimmy,” Disney said in a September 22nd statement that “we have reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.”

Stern previously denounced Kimmel’s suspension as “outrageous” and he said he was “very upset” about it.

“We can’t support this kind of movement,” Stern said on the September 22nd show. “I don’t care if I like Jimmy or not. It’s about freedom of speech. I wonder if Abuk wanted to fire Jimmy because he didn’t like him, or if he had a low rating – they didn’t want to fire him. They’re not under pressure from the US government. We can’t have it.
