Music Mogul Sean Combs has been on trial for alleged criminal enterprises since it gained fame in the 1990s.
After several days of intense questions, a small group was chosen to help determine the fate of Shawn Diddy Combs.
The prosecutors, defense counsel and judge agreed to a number of alternatives on May 12, serving as ju judges in a closely monitored trial.
For decades, the decisive force of the entertainment industry, Comb has faced federal accusations of sex trafficking, assault and transport. He pleads not guilty to all numbers.

Who will become Diddy’s ju umpire?
The selected ju umpire represents a broad cross-section of the area of New York, ages 30 to 74.
One ju umpire is a deli employee at a grocery store in Gristdes. The other is a meal assistant at a nursing home. The other is the manager of the United Nations Office of Cyberterrorism. One ju umpire is the retired Verizon Field Tech.
Who didn’t make Diddy’s jury?
Potential candidates were attacked for a variety of reasons as lawyers on either side tried to find a class of people fair enough to give a fair verdict on one of the most well-known men in music.
One potential ju umpire was denied after he shared that he was arrested seven years ago for possession of marijuana. “If you ask them not to use marijuana during trial, will that be difficult for you?” asked Judge Arun Subramanian, who oversees the case.
The man replied that it was a difficult request and he was rejected.
Another was disqualified when she revealed she had read a USA Today article on the selection of ju umpires during the process, but another ju umpire was xed in her survey responses to show that she thought Combs might have enough money to buy a path to get out of prison.
Most of the grill revolved around the preconceived notions of comb judges based on news consumption and experiences with law enforcement and sexual assault.
Shortly before the ju umpire was confirmed, Combs’ defense team argued that the prosecutors had unfairly ruled out black ju umpires.
“Your honor, the government has hit seven black people out of nine strikes, and I believe this is a pattern,” Combs’ lawyer, Mark Agnifilo, told the judge.
Prosecutors responded, calling their choices “many non-white” ju apprentices and “very diverse.” One prosecutor ran through neutral reasons as to why they went on strike. One ju umpire said he was not upfront in past cases with police. Another ju umpire had a “moorish, inconsistent answer.” And another ju umpire later said the victim could jump on the “during bandwagon,” she said, “trying to return” her statement that combs was likely guilty of domestic violence in a ju umpire survey.
Subramanian denied the defense’s application for the ju appellate, saying the ju appellate was ” unable to demonstrate intentional discrimination.”
Why is Diddy being charged with?
Diddy is charged with two counts of sex trafficking, two transports engaged in prostitution and one assault.
Racketeering is the participation in organizational laws affected by Racketeer or illegal schemes under RICO as a way for the US government to prosecute organizations that contribute to criminal activity.
Using the RICO Act, which is generally intended to target multi-person criminal organizations, prosecutors join “freak-offs” of threats and drugs, saying that Combs is claiming forced victims, some of whom are sex workers.
