“Grey’s Anatomy” actor and celebrity photographer Brad Everett Young passed away on Monday, September 15th due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Los Angeles. He was 46 years old.
The collision occurred late Sunday, September 14th on the 134 expressway. The “Boy Meet the World” alumni’s car was hit by another driving in the wrong direction, Young spokesperson Paul Christensen confirmed to USA Today on Thursday, September 18th.
As an actor, Young played television roles in “Charmed”, “Numb3rs” and “Felicity.” He also appeared in several films, including the 2000s “Charlie’s Angels” and 1997’s “Jurassic Park II.”
In recent years, Virginia natives have shifted his focus to celebrity photography. His work has been featured at Vanity Fair, People, Vogue and other outlets. Photographing the star from David Harbor to Salamichel Geller, Young was the familiar face showing off the Hollywood Premier, glass and awards red carpet.
During his last few years he took up activism and became the founder of the grassroots project Dream Loud Official. Through the initiative, he aimed to inspire US students, teachers and artists, his spokesperson said.
“Brad’s passion for both the art and the people behind it was unparalleled,” Christensen said in a statement. “He lives his mission to keep creativity alive, and his legacy continues with a loud dream voice.”
No arrangements for Young’s funeral have been announced. His family is currently seeking prayer and privacy.
