Listeria outbreaks cause at least 10 people to get sick in all of us
At least 10 people in the US have become ill from the outbreak of Listeria, which is linked to ready-to-eat foods, and producers are voluntarily recalling some of the products.

It has been recalled concerns that several types of rice, soups, and porridge mixes produced by the Naturemills brand may contain undeclared allergens.
On May 13, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that Texas-based Naturemills Us Inc. is recalling selected products for sale between December 1, 2023 and May 10, 2025.
“People who are allergic or severely susceptible to these allergens pose a risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions when consuming these products,” the advisory added, “No diseases have been reported so far in connection with this issue.”
The recall started after a periodic internal audit revealed that the ingredient and allergen signs were missing.

- Rice Mix: Idly Chilli Powder, Sesame Rice Mix, Dal Garlic Rice Mix, Moringa Rice Mix, Curry Leaf Rice Mix, Vallarai Rice Mix, Horsgram Rice Mix
- soup: Wonderberry leaf soup, moringa leaf soup, averlampu soup, hosegram soup
- Spice mix and powder: Traditional Sambar Powder, Traditional Ratham Powder
- Oridge Mix: Black Cabuni Porridge Mix
- Papad & Vadham: Garlic Vadam, Tomato Vadam, Rice Papad
