The Powerball Awards on Wednesday, August 27th is worth $815 million, the seventh largest in the history of the game, with an estimated cash value of $367.9 million.

The prize money was caught up in the picture on Monday night, August 25th, when the following six figures did not match the Red Powerball 22 and the next six figures. The power play multiplier was 3x.

The two Georgia and Texas states matched all five white balls before taking home a million dollar prizes, Powerball said.

Additionally, 26 tickets won a $50,000 prize, and five tickets won a $150,000 prize.

The upcoming Powerball Drawing, scheduled for August 27th at 10:59pm ET, marks the 38th painting as Jackpot last won in California in May. Another Lucky California resident claimed a $2.04 billion award in November 2022. This is the biggest in the history of the game.

What are my options if I win a Powerball?

If a jackpot is charged after Wednesday’s drawing, the winner can choose between $815 million in prize money paid in installments or a lump sum payment estimated at $367.9 million. Both prize options are before tax.

If the winner chooses the pension option, he receives one immediate payment, then 29 annual payments, increasing by 5% each year.

The drawings are streamed live on Powerball.com EST every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59pm.

What is the chance of winning Powerball?

The overall odds for winning lottery prizes are 1 in 24.9, but the odds for winning a jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million. Powerball tickets are $2 each and can be purchased at grocery stores and gas stations.

To play, the customer must select five numbers from 1 to 69 on the white ball and numbers from 1 to 26 on the red Powerball. Customers can choose their own number or randomly select numbers.
