Enoki mushrooms sold in several states are under active recall due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination, according to two notices posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
According to the notice, two brands of enoki mushrooms, sold in 150-gram bags, are being recalled after product samples tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes. Affected products include IQ Enoki Mushrooms with code “UI775” and HH Fresh Trading Enoki Mushrooms with code “4711498860002.”
According to the FDA, HH Fresh Trading Enoki Mushrooms were only sold through local wholesalers in Florida and Texas.
Authorities are asking consumers who purchased the recalled enoki mushrooms to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
