Ukrainian President Voldymir Zelensky leaves a new arm package of 5 billion euros ($5.7 billion) in Berlin as he is about to build his own weapons.

The package’s outstanding agreement announced on Wednesday in the German capital is centered around Germany, which funds the joint production of long-range missiles in Ukraine, which allows Kiev to hit targets deep in Russia.

The announcement also included more air defense systems, weapons, ammunition, “order and operation” capabilities and medical assistance.

One important aspect was missing. Before the press conference there was high hopes that Mertz would announce the transfer or approval of the use of the highly refined, long-range Taurus missiles in Germany, Ukraine.

Meltz was very strong in ensuring that Ukraine received a Taurus during the campaign against former Social Democrat Prime Minister Olaf Scholz. Scholz and the party remained very silent to send arms, but were worried that this would escalate the conflict even further.

Mertz’s own fledgling coalition with the Social Democrats (now a junior partner in the government) appears to have a major disagreement of its own with regard to Taurus.

The Christian Democrats, one of Meltz’s parties, tweeted Tuesday. “I have not yet united within the Union and have no political will to properly respond to the massive escalation of Russia with force and consistency,” he tweeted.

This system allows Ukraine to hit targets far beyond the shadows of British storms and the capabilities of American-made Atacam missiles.

However, on shoulders side by side with Berlin’s Zelensky, German Prime Minister Friedrich Merz said:

“This is the beginning of a new phase of industrial military cooperation between our countries with great potential,” Meltz added.

However, in line with the new dict decree from the Prime Minister and his new government, there was no concrete details of the deal. To ensure “strategic ambiguity,” it has made a conscious decision to withhold information on weapon exchanges.

Nevertheless, the deal represents a major step towards deepening cooperation between Germany and Ukraine, particularly in terms of arms procurement.

It also marked the third meeting in a few weeks between the two leaders, considering that Merz was only prime minister for three weeks.

The statement, which was released by the German Ministry of Defense, said it was “planning to invest more direct direct investments in future Ukraine production.”

Zelensky appeared to suggest a today’s agreement before departing Kiev for the German capital. In his evening speech on Tuesday, he said, “Attack drones, interceptors, cruise missiles, Ukrainian ballistic systems — these are the key elements. Everything needs to be manufactured.”

A statement from the German Ministry of Defense suggested that some of these systems could be closer to deployment. “A significant number of long-range weapons (ARs) should be produced within the year.” “The beginning of these systems could be deployed by the Ukrainian forces in just a few weeks.”

The Kremlin responded immediately. “This is a completely irresponsible position in Germany. Instead of trying to support a peaceful process, they are fueling the flames,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told CNN on Wednesday.

“They are simply trying to spark further wars, which increases indirect involvement in this military case,” he added.

In Berlin, both Zelensky and Merz spoke about their frustration with Russia over peace talks.

A huge mass of glaciers in the Swiss Alps broke down on Wednesday afternoon, causing floods of rocks, rocks and rocks, allowing parts of the mountain village to be filled.

“It’s terrible to lose your home,” Keller Sutter said in X.

Authorities have been monitoring the slopes above Bratten since ordering residents to leave their homes.

The widely shared video on social media shows a dramatic moment when the glacier partially collapsed, creating a huge cloud that echoing through the village’s outskirts of the village, creating a massive cloud covering parts of the mountain.

A hungry Palestinian crowd broke into a UN warehouse in central Gaza on Wednesday, resulting in at least two deaths and multiple injuries as starvation worsened on the strip.

“The horde of hungry people have invaded the Al-Gafari warehouse at Dale Al-Barah, central Gaza, seeking pre-located food supplies for distribution,” the World Food Programme (WFP) said. “The initial reports show that two people have been killed and several have been injured in the tragic incident.”

It is unknown what caused the death and injury. WFP said it was working to verify the situation accurately, but emphasized that the tragedy reflects “surprising degradation conditions of the ground” directly linked to aid blockades.

Several videos and photos CNN saw show hundreds of people in the warehouse, grabbing any food they can find. The bloody face is seen in the photo while clenching a bag of flour.

Another video showed hundreds of people outside the warehouse carrying bags of what looked like flour, just as the shooting echoed through the background.

The incident at the WFP warehouse highlighted the accelerated humanitarian disaster in the besieged enclave. The 11-week Israeli lockdown on humanitarian aid has pushed Gaza’s population of more than 2 million Palestinians to starve, resuming the first reopening of humanitarian aid in enclaves that were besieged last week.

“The humanitarian needs have gone out of control after 80 days of complete lockdown of all food aid and other aid to Gaza,” the UN agency said.

The warehouse contains important stocks containing flour intended for a systematic distribution of aid, and is now compromised by despair.

“WFP has consistently warned of the incredible degradation on the ground and the risks placed on the risks imposed by hungry people with hopeless support,” he said.

“Gaza needs immediate scale-up of food aid, which is the only way to reassure people that they don’t starve,” he added.

The UNRWA Public Relations Office in Gaza called it an “unfortunate incident” at the WFP warehouse, saying, “Sadly, once again, people are being forced to take desperate steps as a result of the ongoing Israeli lockdown on food and supplies invasion into the Gaza Strip.”

Wednesday’s loot comes the day after chaos broke out at a Gaza aid distribution site run by a controversial US support group as thousands of desperate Palestinians rushed to receive food supplies.

Videos from the distribution site of Tel al Sultan, run by the US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), appeared to rush the facility to show massive crowds, demolish parts of the fencing and climb barriers designed to control the flow of the crowd.

Palestinian health officials said one person was shot dead and 48 people were injured in the incident on Tuesday.

Security sources said the US security contractor on the ground did not fire the shots and that operation will resume at the site on Wednesday. The Israeli Defense Force said their troops fired warning shots in areas outside the compound, and the situation was controlled. They refused to carry out the air fire towards the property.

Wednesday marked 600 days of Israeli war against Hamas following the fatal attack on October 7th, with military operations showing no signs of decline despite rising international condemnations, including many of Israeli allies.

Speaking to CNN from Deial Al Bhara in central Gaza, Abu Amur said, “600 days passed us just like we did in 600.” Palestinians said they fear death from Israel’s strike or hunger.

“Hunger is killing us,” Abu Amr said. He called on the United States to end Israeli support and mediate the end of the war. “We call on America and call on all Western countries to stand with us,” he said.

More than 54,000 Gazaans have been killed since the Israeli war on the enclave began 600 days ago, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The ministry does not distinguish between civilians and extremists.

The two-month ceasefire in Gaza, which began in late January, collapsed on March 18th as Israel renewed its artillery fire. Israeli strikes have since killed more than 3,900 Palestinians, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Aziz El-Kahnoot, another displaced person in Deir Al-Balah, said “the smell of death has not left us for 600 days,” adding that Gaza civilians have been “hostages” as the war intensifies.

Israel is expected to occupy 75% of Gaza within two months as part of a new attack on the besieged territory, Israeli military officials told CNN earlier this week.

If implemented, the plan will force over two million Palestinians into a quarter of the already determined coastal enclave, surrounded by almost all flanks by Israeli forces. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the entire population will be evacuated to southern Gaza earlier this month.

Sigrid Karg, interim UN special coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, said on Wednesday that the Gaza crisis had plunged civilians into the “deep by” and called on Israel to “stop a catastrophic strike on civilian livelihoods and infrastructure.”

“The entire population of Gaza faces the risk of hunger,” Kaag warned during the briefing, saying that the limited aid allowed for the enclave “is comparable to a lifeboat after the ship sinks.

Two Brazilian nuns have become the virus after dropping an improvised beatbox and dance session on a Catholic TV show.

The sisters Marizele Cassiano and Marisa de Paula, members of the “Copiosa Redenção” congregation, were talking about a career retreat on the Pai Eterino – Eternal Father – TV channel in Brazil.

The duo rose to their feet and began a routine with singing, beatboxing and dancing moves.

Presenter Deacon Giovani Bastos then joined in and adapted to their movements with performances seen on social media by millions of people on social media in Brazil and abroad.

“The moment was very spontaneous. She dances when she starts to beat with her sister Marisa. And because I was used to singing, beatboxing, it was very simple for us, spontaneous, and it was very surprising to see that it became a virus outside of Brazil.”

The sisters are dedicated to young people suffering from drug addiction. They say music is a powerful tool to help people in need.

Sister Marisa doesn’t have an Instagram account, but the Marisel sisters have surpassed 100,000 followers since Beatbox went viral.

The sisters also work as professional promoters and organize retreats for women interested in pursuing a religious career.
