Chick-fil-A cashier uses ASL to connect and make boy’s day

Chick-fil-A fans may be in for a spicy surprise soon.
The fast food chicken chain confirmed to USA TODAY on Friday, July 24, that it is testing Spicy Chicken and Strips at two Atlanta-area restaurants for a limited time. The product was last available as part of a short-term test in 2023, Nation Restaurant News reported.
While the spicy strips are being tested, the chain’s summer menu includes a honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich that went on sale May 28, along with a pineapple-dragon fruit drink and a line of summer peach-flavored treats.
When and where to try spicy chicken and strips
The company told USA TODAY that the spicy strips will be available at its Sprayberry and Sandy Springs stores in Georgia.
The company said in an emailed statement that the trial will run from July 20 to September 12, while supplies last.
It’s unclear whether the spicy strips will be expanded to menus nationwide.

The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich is available with your choice of original or spicy filet mignon. Pimento cheese, mild pickled jalapeños, and a toasted bun drizzled with honey. The chain’s other spicy menu items include the regular spicy chicken sandwich and the spicy deluxe sandwich.
Chick-fil-A is bringing back the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich for a limited time in January 2025. The sandwich features boneless chicken breast marinated in a blend of chili peppers and grilled for a “tender and spicy” flavor. The sandwich was served on a toasted multigrain brioche bun with Colby Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, tomato, and cilantro-lime sauce. This sandwich was first introduced in 2021.
