LAS VEGAS – Everyone has plans to ride the attractions in Las Vegas.
Caesars Entertainment announced on July 22 that an attraction based on the life of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, “Iron Mike Legacy: The Mike Tyson Immersive Experience,” will open “this fall” at Flamingo Resort on the Las Vegas Strip.
Caesars said in a news release that “Iron Mike Legacy” is a “next-generation multisensory physical attraction” that explores the boxer’s life through “augmented reality, virtual reality, holograms and projection mapping technology.”
Tyson called the attraction “very personal” and said in a news release that it will touch on “the highs, the lows, and everything in between.”
“Las Vegas has been the setting for some of the most important moments of my life and career. This city has embraced me, challenged me, and helped shape me into the person I am today,” Tyson said.
Dan Walsh, Flamingo’s senior vice president and general manager, said in a news release that the attraction is part of the resort’s “ongoing transformation.”
“Mike Tyson is a legend who transcends sports, and this attraction gives visitors a compelling new reason to experience Flamingo,” said Mr. Walsh.
The experience will consist of seven rooms and include more than an hour of “multisensory” experiences, according to the attraction’s website. “This experience moves between physical sets, projected environments, holographic encounters, and sound that follows you through the story,” the website says.
Your ID, the attraction’s producer, said in a news release that the Las Vegas location will serve as the attraction’s flagship venue and that the company “looks forward to announcing additional destinations as we continue to build the brand’s global footprint.”
Advance ticket registration can be done on the attraction’s website. General admission tickets go on sale August 5th.
Prices range from $59 for an afternoon timed ticket to $129 for an “anytime” VIP ticket.
