More than 16,000 dressers sold by Walmart across the U.S. are being recalled because authorities say they pose a risk of serious entrapment, injury or death.

According to a recall notice posted by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on July 23, 16,809 EnHomee 9-drawer fabric dressers violated mandatory safety standards.

“The recalled dressers are unstable if not secured to the wall, posing a tipping or entrapment hazard that could result in serious injury or death to children,” the CPSC said in the notice.

Officials said the dresser was sold on Walmart.com from September 2023 to March 2026 for $80. Influenced dressers came in a variety of colors, including white, brown, gray, and black, and had metal frames. CPSC said there have been no reported injuries or incidents related to the recalled dressers.
