The Prince and Princess of Wales took their eldest sons out for a family day at the Wimbledon Championships.
Prince William and Duchess Kate entered the Royal Box for the men’s singles final at the Tennis Championships in London on Sunday, July 12, and were greeted with standing spectators and applause. Prince Will and Duchess Kate smiled and waved as they arrived with two of their three children, Prince George, 12, and Princess Charlotte, 11.
Missing is the youngest son, Prince Louis, 8, known for his endearing antics that attract cameras at many royal appearances.
The future queen, 44, wore a draped olive green day dress with a small tan handbag, her hair long and loose, while her husband, also 44, wore a dark gray suit with a striped tie.
George also wore a navy suit, while Charlotte wore a light blue dress with ruffled short sleeves and a bow at the back, the same color as the pantsuit Kate wore on July 2, when she handed out tickets on the day of the event.
On Sunday, Princess Kate, patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, where the tournament will be held, wore a purple and green ribbon pinned to her bodice to mark her role. The Princess of Wales was also in the stands at Wimbledon the previous day, Saturday, July 11th.
She previously competed in the 2024 and 2025 finals as she recovered from cancer. Duchess Kate’s sister Pippa Matthews was spotted in the Royal Box on July 6th.
Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Andrew Garfield and Anna Wintour were also in the audience on July 12th.
Queen Camilla attended the tennis championships on July 8 with her sister Annabelle Elliott.
The appearance capped off a big week for royal watchers. Prince Harry reunited with King Charles on July 10th for the first time in four years, accompanied by Duchess Meghan and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. On July 7, Prince Harry lost his privacy lawsuit against Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mail.
