Jelly Roll and Bunny XO settle down: Divorce after about 10 years
Jelly Roll (real name Jason Deford) filed for divorce from his podcaster wife (real name Alisa Deford) on May 18th.
Bunny Zoe reveals his next move amid divorce.
The “Dumb Blonde” podcaster (real name Alisa Deford) shared a screenshot of her acceptance letter from Arizona State University on her Instagram Stories on July 3, writing, “Dr. Xo, loading?” According to E! News, TMZ, Page 6. Bunny did not share any further information about what she would be studying.
USA TODAY has contacted Bunny’s representative for more information.
The move comes months after her country star ex Jelly Roll filed for divorce, with TMZ reporting the divorce a month later on June 15. Divorce papers obtained by the USA TODAY Network state that the couple separated on May 9.
Bunny, 46, has been doing well since the news of their breakup broke. On Sunday, July 5, she posted a video of herself getting dressed in front of a mirror while listening to Eminem’s “Superman,” then turning around and rapping the lyrics, “There’s no ring on this finger!”
And Bunny Zoe referenced her marriage to the “I Am Not Okay” rapper, 41, in a clip from an episode of her podcast “Dumb Blonde” and quipped that she had just come out of a “10 year bid.”
However, she also praised the relationship, saying, “There will never be ‘Jerry and Bunny’ again” on the June 18 episode, days after the divorce was made public. What we have built together as a team and why we are where we are today is because of our love story. ”
They also revealed that they are planning to expand their family through in vitro fertilization.
“We were the most unconventional couple you’d ever meet,” she said. “We are going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. This is not what you think it is. No one cheated on the other. We literally just served each other’s purposes.”
She added: “The fact that we’ve been able to stay happy, healthy and best friends through this is probably the greatest gift we’ve given each other.”
