Looking for a great deal on dinner with Dad this Father’s Day? Pittsburgh has many restaurants offering discounts on holiday meals.
Father’s Day is Sunday, June 21st, but many restaurants will have sales going on through the weekend, with discounts on everything from pizza to strip steak.
Where to find Pittsburgh’s 2026 Father’s Day food deals
- Bar Louis: Bar Louie will be offering a free entree to dads who purchase a regular-priced entree on June 21st. Bar Louie has one location in Pittsburgh.
- BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery: When you eat at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery, dads are expected to get free exclusive items. As a loyalty member, Dad can receive VIP discounts on future meal orders. BJ’s Restaurant has two locations outside of Pittsburgh, one in Upper St. Clair Township and one in McCandless Township.
- Buffalo Wild Wings: Buffalo Wild Wings will be signing wing deals on Father’s Day. There are five Buffalo Wild Wings locations around Allegheny County near Pittsburgh.
- Burger King: Burger King is likely to offer a buy one, get one Whopper benefit to Loyal Rewards members on June 21st. There are five Burger King locations in Pittsburgh.
- Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop: Rewards members who purchase an American Wagyu sub will receive a free chips and drink combo upgrade. Exclusive code also gives you 10% off online orders of $99 or more from Snake River Farms. There is one Capriotti store in Cranberry Township, a suburb of Pittsburgh.
- Dave & Busters: On Father’s Day, Dave & Buster’s is hosting a “Dad Game” where fathers and their families compete in the arcade. The event will feature unlimited pepperoni and cheese pizza, Smashburger sliders, crispy chicken bites, garlic butter pretzel sticks, fries and fruit, and the winner will win a year of free Dave & Buster gameplay. There’s one Dave & Buster’s in Pittsburgh and another in Homestead, just outside the city.
- Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse: From June 18 to June 21, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse will offer a special menu including the $139 Westholm Wagyu New York Strip featuring foie gras and black truffle Bordeaux. There is one Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse in Pittsburgh. Reservation required.
- Denny’s: You’ll probably be offered a Father’s Day promo code that can be used on online and in-app orders, and potentially free shipping over Father’s Day weekend. There are four Denny’s in Pittsburgh.

Unlike Halloween and Christmas, Father’s Day doesn’t always fall on the same date, but falls on the third Sunday of June each year. The month and day change every year.
In any given year, it could be as early as June 15th or as late as June 21st.
Which comes first, Father’s Day or Mother’s Day?
Mother’s Day came before Father’s Day. Mother’s Day began in 1908 when Anna Jarvis invented the idea. According to history, it became an official holiday in the United States in 1914.
What is the history of Father’s Day?
The origins of Father’s Day can be traced back to 1908. The first celebration of the idea of Father’s Day took place in July of the same year, when hundreds of people were killed in a mining disaster in Fairmont, West Virginia. According to the Farmer’s Almanac, this service in their honor was first known as “Father’s Day.”
