American Dew, anyone?

To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, Mountain Dew is releasing a limited edition 12-ounce can and 20-ounce bottle under the name “American Dew.” American Dew, which will be sold throughout the summer, also celebrates Mountain Dew’s 78th anniversary with Tennessee ties.

“Since 1948, Mountain Dew has been defined by bold, unapologetically Tennessee-born flavor. ‘American Original – Tasting Great Things ’48’ is a tribute to our origins and the fans who have propelled the brand forward for nearly 80 years,” Michael Smith, Mountain Dew vice president of marketing, said in a news release. “‘American Dew’ is a tangible celebration of that story and was created to commemorate this moment in a meaningful way.”

Why not take a sip? Here’s what you need to know about the newly released American Dew.

What does American Dew taste like?

American Dew is not a new flavor. The limited edition drinks are truly Mountain Dew’s new branding. American Dew flavor is the classic citrus-flavored soft drink that consumers still know and love.

When is American Dew available?

American Dew was released on April 20th. This is a limited drink until summer.

Where can I buy American Dew?

American Dew is available at major retailers nationwide.
