Burger King appears to be overshadowed by viral McDonald’s taste test
After McDonald’s CEO Christopher Kempczinski’s Big Arch taste test went viral, other fast food bosses decided to get in on the fun.
Spring has arrived at Wendy’s.
The fast food chain announced on Thursday, April 23, six new limited-time items that will make up its spring menu, as well as a new Frosty flavor that will join its flagship menu.
The full menu will be available at Wendy’s restaurants nationwide starting Monday, April 27, but customers will have early access to the new Frosty via the Wendy’s app starting April 23, according to a news release.
“Spring brings warmer weather and fresh changes to daily life, and we’re seeing an appetite for bold flavors that combine comfort and discovery,” Lindsey Radkoski, Wendy’s chief marketing officer, said in a news release.

Wendy’s renews spicy chicken sandwich
Almost a month after Wendy’s announced upgrades to its spicy chicken sandwich, the spring menu will be reduced.
This sandwich features a new marinade, crispy panko-style breading, a new potato bun, and a richer mayonnaise. Wendy’s says the sandwich now also comes with pickles “for extra crunch and balance.”
The change was also applied to the chain’s Classic Chicken Sandwich, for fans who prefer a less spicy sandwich.
Wendy’s said in a news release that it will also offer customers upgrades such as new potato buns across its premium sandwich lineup, including sandwiches such as the Baconator, Dave’s Single, Big Bacon Classic and Asiago Ranch Chicken Club.
Wendy’s said the redesigned sandwich went through “extensive consumer focus groups” and “thorough in-restaurant testing,” and that the changes were inspired by “our fans and everything they love about Wendy’s signature spicy chicken sandwich.”
