What is Pokemon?

If you’re a Millennial or Gen Z, you’ve probably heard about Pokémon, played the game, or watched the anime after getting home from school.

The series, which began as a Japanese Game Boy game in 1996, has been extensive and includes many video games, card games, television shows, movies, and more.

Due to the popularity of Pokémon, characters such as Pikachu, Squirtle, and Charizard have become well-known. It is one of the most popular children’s entertainment venues around the world, rivaling Disney characters and Super Mario Bros.
