More than 700,000 sauté pans sold at Costco, Walmart, and Amazon have been recalled because they pose a burn hazard, according to a notice posted on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s (CPSC) website.

E Mishan & Sons, a New York-based importer and distributor of consumer products, announced on April 2 a recall of approximately 740,000 Granite Stone Diamond Pro Blue Saute Pans. The recall stems from at least 98 reports that the metal caps on the screws that connect the sauté pans to the handles can pop loose when heated, effectively “posing a shock or burn hazard to consumers,” the notice states.

Of the 98 reports, one involved a consumer with bruises and burns.

Here’s what you need to know about the recalled sauté pans, including what E. Mishan is working to remedy the situation.

Which sauté pans have been recalled?

According to the notice, the recall applies to Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue stainless steel sauté pans.

The sauté pans were sold in sets of two, one 10 inches and one 11.5 inches. The UPC (Universal Product Code) number is 0-80313-08131-6.

The saute pan was sold in Costco stores and online at Costco.com, Walmart.com, and Amazon.com from August 2021 to February 2026 for approximately $40.

What should I do if I own a sauté pan that is subject to a recall?

According to the notice, consumers who own the recalled sauté pans should immediately stop using them and contact E Mishan for a full refund.

E. Michan asks consumers seeking refunds to return recalled sauté pans.
