Pizza chain Marco’s Pizza plans to expand this year with at least 80 new restaurants and a newly-innovated menu, the company announced this month.
Marco’s Pizza is headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, but has more than 1,200 locations in 35 states and locations in Puerto Rico, the Bahamas and Mexico, the company said in a March 4 press release. More than 80 stores have opened, including 60 new stores in 2025, after a year filled with what Marcos called “remarkable achievements.”
The company added that it plans to open stores this year in new markets, international regions, and “non-traditional locations” such as new real estate formats, ghost kitchens, or digital-only restaurants where customers can only order food through apps like Postmates, Uber Eats, and Grubhub.

Marco’s Pizza set for success in 2025, executives say
Marco’s Pizza said in a news release this month that 2025 was a very good year for the restaurant chain.
The company opened 60 stores, entered new markets such as New Jersey, and made plans to expand into New Mexico.
The company previously announced plans to expand into New Mexico in August 2024. Marco’s Pizza said at the time that it had at least two locations in the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho areas, with some expected to open by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
As of March 25, the company’s website does not list any New Mexico locations. Marco’s Pizza confirmed to USA TODAY this month that the company plans to open multiple locations in New Mexico later this year.
