Beautyblender has taken on a new form.

The iconic makeup sponge brand is collaborating with skincare brand Glow Recipe to launch a limited-edition watermelon-shaped sponge for “seamless skincare application.”

The Watermelon Glow Beautyblender sponge is part of a new collaborative kit that includes:

  • Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops – 15ml
  • Watermelon Glow Ultra Fine Mist – 30ml
  • Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dewy Flash – 12ml

A sponge that can be used for both skin care and makeup

“Celebrating our first-ever collaboration with the Beauty Blender Sponge, this launch marks a new evolution in Beauty Blender that expands beyond makeup to include skin care,” the company said in a news release, adding, “This set combines Glow Recipe’s cult-favorite Watermelon Glow Essentials with a custom Watermelon Glow Beauty Blender designed to work in both skin care and makeup.”

Beautyblender said the new sponge, with its “ultra-soft texture, ergonomic shape, and embossed watermelon seeds,” helps “push and distribute moisturizing ingredients into the skin, increasing absorption and creating a smoother, more radiant finish.”

The brand added that the sponge minimizes product waste, redistributes product evenly and “provides a seamless glow.”

When will Glow Recipe’s Beautyblender kit be available?

The Glow Recipe x Beautyblender Kit will be available exclusively on the Sephora app starting March 17th, online starting March 18th, and in-store starting March 20th. Retail price is $48.
