SiriusXM’s Don’t Call Settlement Claim Deadline: What You Need to Know

Date:

There is one week left to submit a proposed settlement regarding SiriusXM’s Do Not Call List. The lawsuit stems from allegations that the satellite radio company repeatedly contacted people who had opted out of telemarketing calls.

The settlement follows a 2022 lawsuit alleging that SiriusXM continued to call people who were on the National Do Not Call Registry or who directly asked the company to stop contacting them. SiriusXM denied wrongdoing but agreed to pay $28 million to resolve the allegations. The lawsuit was originally filed in October 2025.

The settlement administrator has not released a payout estimate. The final amount depends on the number of active claims.

Here’s what you need to know about SiriusXM settlement claims.

When is the deadline to file claims in the SiriusXM settlement?

The deadline to file a complaint is March 21st. Anyone wishing to object to the settlement must do so by March 27. A judge will consider final approval on May 11.

How do I qualify to apply?

Anyone who has been contacted by SiriusXM multiple times between April 27, 2019 and October 31, 2025 may be eligible if:

  • They were not SiriusXM subscribers and had been registered with the National Do Not Call Registry for at least 31 days.
  • They were asked to put themselves on SiriusXM’s internal “do not call” list, but they still received phone calls after that request.

The Do Not Call Registry allows the public to opt out of telemarketing calls and report violations to the Federal Trade Commission and is free to use.

How do I claim my SiriusXM settlement?

You can make a claim online through the official payment site. Eligible consumers can obtain forms and instructions there.

What kind of call sparked the SiriusXM lawsuit?

The lawsuit alleges that SiriusXM made multiple telemarketing calls to people who opted out, either by joining the National Do Not Call Registry or by directly instructing SiriusXM not to call them again.

Is this the same as the National Do Not Call Registry?

no. The Registry is a federal opt-out list maintained by the Federal Trade Commission. This settlement relates to allegations that SiriusXM violated these opt-outs or its own internal do not call lists.
