Man charged with stealing $40,000 from Target using taco seasoning packets
A Florida man was arrested after allegedly stealing $40,000 worth of trading cards from Target in an orchestrated scheme using taco seasoning bags.
Taco Bell is adding a new sweet treat to its menu called empanadas filled with chocolate fudge and caramel.
New Chocolate Fudge & Caramel Empanadas have been added to the menu ($2.99 for two empanadas) and will be part of the fast-food chain’s limited-time Lux Value Menu starting March 19th.
Taco Bell announced the new dessert just days before its LiveMass Live event, which will be streamed on Peacock on March 10th. At the event, hosted by rapper and TV star Vince Staples, Taco Bell will unveil more than 20 items that will be on the menu in 2026.
Taco Bell’s new dessert empanadas
The new dessert duos ($2.99), one filled with salted caramel and the other stuffed with chocolate fudge inside a chocolate shell, are served warm. It’s a twist on the caramel apple empanada, which has been on Taco Bell’s menu since the early 2000s, and most recently debuted as part of Taco Bell’s Decades Y2K menu in September 2025.
Members of the Taco Bell Rewards loyalty program can order dessert empanadas for $1 if they are among the first 30,000 people to earn a reward drop during the Live Más Live event on March 10th.
For a limited time, Live Mass Cafes in Southern California, Texas and Las Vegas will also have a new Sweet Empanada & Cream Chiller, made with a blend of chocolate empanadas, on the menu.
How to watch Taco Bell’s LiveMass Live event on March 10th
Taco Bell’s Live Mass event at the Hollywood Palladium begins March 10 at noon ET/9 a.m. PT and can be streamed on Peacock.
Scheduled to perform at the event are Fernando Mendoza, Ariana Madix, Ashley Park, Benson Boone, Ciara Miller, Davante Adams, Devon Walker, DJ Pee Wee (aka Anderson .Paak), Doja Cat, Ego Nwodim, Mike Towers, and Yate.
