Will Shirley Temples return in 2026?
USA TODAY reporter Greta Cross tried three prebiotic soda brands that released Shirley Temple-inspired drinks.
Mr. Piv seems to be staying here.
Months after Coca-Cola announced it was bringing back Mr. Piv, and just 24 years after discontinuing the brand in favor of Piv Extra, two new variations have hit the market: Punchin’ Peach and Thrill Vanilla.
“Mr. Piv is elevating the flavor!” the Atlanta-based beverage giant said in a statement. “The Coca-Cola Company’s iconic spiced cherry-flavored soft drink is adding two new twists to its signature flavor: Punchy Peach and Thrilling Vanilla.”
Both flavors are “rooted in Mr. Pibb’s signature spicy cherry base,” but Punchin’ Peach introduces lively peach notes for a bright, fruity profile, while Thrilling Vanilla incorporates smooth vanilla for a layered, luxurious finish.
Both flavors are available in 12-ounce packs and 20-ounce bottles at participating retailers across the U.S., according to The Coca-Cola Company.

Where to get new Mr. Pibb flavors
The flavor is available at participating retailers in select Western and Midwest markets, including Florida, Coca-Cola said. Availability may vary by retailer.
As for Mr. Piv and Mr. Piv Zero Sugar, both carbonated soft drinks will be introduced to additional retail locations in the West, Midwest, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.
