Krispy Kreme is hoping to get lucky, especially in the romance department, by giving away coupons on Friday, February 13th.
The Charlotte, North Carolina-based donut company and coffeehouse chain announced it will give away 13,000 free Original Glazed Dozen coupons to randomly selected guests at participating locations on Friday the 13th, one of the “unluckiest” days of the year.
Krispy Kreme says the coupons will be randomly distributed to customers “all day long” on Friday, February 13th.
According to Krispy Kreme, the offer is aimed at “sweetening Valentine’s weekend and bringing good luck.”
“The 13,000 free dozen will come in the form of coupons that guests can redeem on any purchase for 13 days starting Sunday, February 15,” Krispy Kreme said in a statement.

From “Teddy Bear Cookies & Cream Donuts” to “Sprinkled with Love Donuts,” there are Valentine’s Day-themed donut options (and boxes) for almost every taste and preference.
Krispy Kreme’s Valentine’s Day donuts come in four varieties and are on sale until February 14th. This year’s flavor lineup is as follows.
- I love you a chocolate donut: Unglazed heart donuts filled with chocolate-flavored cream are dipped in red (vanilla) icing and topped with chocolate icing ribbons and ribbons.
- Teddy bear cookie & cream donut: A plain heart donut filled with cookies and cream is dipped in chocolate icing and topped with a white chocolate bear face.
- You are a Berry Sweet Donut: Cream-filled unglazed heart donuts are dipped in strawberry-flavored icing and topped with a red (vanilla) drizzle and XOXO sugar.
- Dawnu spreads lovet: An original glazed donut with buttercream and heart-shaped sprinkles.
The Valentine’s Day donut collection, like all Krispy Kreme treats, is available for purchase in-store, or for pickup or delivery through the Krispy Kreme app or website. You can also purchase assorted Valentine’s Day donuts from some retailers such as Kroger.
