Hershey’s Chocolate, a sponsor of Team USA, is giving fans the opportunity to celebrate the excitement of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics from home with the launch of limited-edition chocolate medals.
“We created these custom chocolate medals, both physical and digital, to turn watching Team USA into a shared experience, inviting fans to celebrate their daily wins and discover that happiness is always within reach,” Katrina Vatter, senior brand manager at The Hershey Company, said in a Feb. 10 news release.
The Pennsylvania-based chocolate company says the new medals are embossed with milk chocolate and wrapped in gold leaf to resemble real Olympic medals. The medals will be available for purchase later this week at the TikTok Shop and the official Hershey store.

When will Hershey’s Gold Medal be released?
The new limited edition Team USA Chocolate Medals will go on sale in the TikTok Shop on February 13th and at The Hershey’s Store on February 14th at 8 a.m. ET, according to a company news release.
Medals will be sold for $5.99 each.
In addition to offering physical chocolate medals for a limited time, Hershey’s will extend candy medals into the digital world through augmented reality lenses on Snapchat and branded effects on TikTok.
“Each activation allows users to unlock and interact with a digital version of Team USA’s Chocolate Medal, turning everyday victories into shared celebrations and capturing personal ‘medal moments’ throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games,” Hershey’s said.
